Since my last review, I purchased a new LG washer here, and now, a Bosch refrigerator. The salesman gave me a discount off the MSRP and free delivery, plus $50 to install it. I said I didn't need my old fridge hauled away, just moved into to my ground-level basement. He said no problem, just tip the guys. When the two staff installers arrived, I told them what I wanted, and they demanded $80. I had every intention of giving them a generous tip afterwards, so that was awkward. They were careful moving the two refrigerators, but did an incomplete job installing the new one. You have to level the unit, so the french doors are balanced and will stay open and not swing closed on their own. They didn't take the time to do this, so I had to do it myself after they left. As with all contractors that come into your home, watch them, and make sure that they do what you are paying them to do. read more

The business attempted to rectify the situation. I was still out of money I didn't anticipate spending. But I have to give credit for them attempting to help by suggesting someone for installation. The buying process was fantastic. Jon was incredibly helpful! He took his time to review products that matched my needs. Delivery was not as great. We only received our delivery time the morning of. At that time, they gave us 4 different times within a 7 hour time frame. The products came in on 2 different trucks and the driver of the first truck left before installing the items on the second truck. They had to come back the next day. We were told they would be there at 10, but they didn't arrive until 11:45. If you have time to sit around and wait for appliances, this is your place. read more

Over the last couple of years I have bought 6 appliances from Seemore. I will not buy anothe. Since I bought them I have had many repairs, but the problem I have had with my dishwasher which is about 18 months old is their fault. When I only had it a few months it broke. It was under warranty so Electrolux came to repair it. I was told it was not installed properl. I called Seemore and they sent someone to fix, but apparently he did not install it correctly again. That reinstallation lasted until about a week ago, when the door would not close. I called Seemore to find out if I had some warranty left. He promised to call back, he never did. A couple of days later I called again and was told he would call back again, but again he did not. I finally called a n Electrolux repair service. The dishwasher had to be reinstalled again, as again Seemore had not installed it properly. Not only did I have to pay someone else to reinstall it after I had paid Seemore, but they never called me back. That is an insult after all the money I spent there and all the people I sent there who have bought appliance. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to this appliance store instead of a Best Buy or Home Depot. Sal knew exactly what my old refrigerator was in terms of specs - countertop high, etc. (even though it was 20 years old) without even looking it up. He was able to find me a reasonably priced replacement in just a minute or two. The price was great. I was not looking forward to the dreaded refrigeration replacement search day, which turned into a quick stop on the way home from work. State tax is half for towns in Plainfield and we get to support local businesses. read more

Customer service and delivery was HORRIBLE! I was recommended here and was so disappointed, we ordered a full appliance set of dishwasher, fridge and range. We received calls when items where in and the delivery date but no one ever showed up after multiple days of me taking off work to be home for items to arrive. After many calls back and forth to Seemore I was very much brushed off and had to call their sister store in Metuchen for some assistance. Finally when the items came my dishwasher sat in my living room not installed for 5 days because their delivery people are not the installers. To make matters worse the wrong fridge was brought here so we had to do the whole process over again to receive the correct fridge. I highly recommend NOT buying from this company if you want a seamless process. read more

We needed a new DRIER, ordered included a promise delivery on a day when someone was home...The window unlike other companies Monday thru Friday only, with a 3-4 hour window. The delivery truck & staff had SEEMORE logo's. When I call 645 friday the gentleman from SEEMORES told me this was an independent company delivery company--& they do not deliver on Saturdays. The Machine showed up at 645 PM-- Not a pleasant experience--If you work full time consider purchasing from a store who provides delivery, the modern way 7 days a week with 1 hour window PS they charged us $100 for this "SERVICE" read more

I have always been a proponent of dealing with local companies and avoiding the big box stores. We went to SeeMore and purchased a stackable Electrolux washer & dryer in late Nov and received delivery in Dec. The first 60 days or so were fine. Then the problems started.... After about 2 months, the dryer stopped working. The drum assembly had to be replaced. That took several weeks from beginning to end. Now, just into the 5th month since delivery, the washing machine is down. Electrolux has sent 2 differnet service companies that diagnosed the problem as a cracked outer drum but both refused to fix it. It is too big a job and the washer should be replaced. Electrolux sent a 3rd company that was scheduled to fix the washer, but only showed up only prepared to diagnose the problem. Again, for the 3rd time. The washer has been down now for 4 weeks and we are looking at another 3 weeks for just the parts before it can even get scheduled for a teardown/rebuild with a new drum. Since the very first signs of an issue, we conacted SeeMore. Their only response was to give us Electrolux's service number, along with some local service companies numbers, and pointed us to the door. They wanted NOTHING to do with helping us get the problems fixed. We are on our own, and you will be too if/when anything goes wrong. Our friends bought a different brand washer & dryer at HD around the same time. They had problems with their units within the first couple months. HD took the washer & dryer back and gave them a full refund. read more

What a great appliance center. I have ordered from them for 20 years now and every experience is consistently wonderful. I called this week to order a new dishwasher which required some additional care with respect to using an existing custom wood panel from my kitchen to the new unit and the installation was excellent and the delivery and installation was done within a week. This family-owned business is so amazing and I can recommend them to anyone seeking superior service and competitive prices. It is such a departure from the big stores ... try to support local/regional stores like this one!!! I recommended them also to a friend in NYC and they were so please with them too. I've had the most atrocious service from this company - I would never recommend. My husband and I purchased a washer/dryer and asked if they would be willing to hold them for us until we moved into our new home (about 3 weeks). They were happy to do so but days before our delivery date, they said they wouldn't have the product in time and asked if we could move the delivery day to the following week. No problem- we agreed to have the items delivered the following week. The day of THAT delivery, we call the store (because we never seem to get any kind of confirmation calls from this company)and were told "Yes we are coming today between 3-6". All seems well but 5:45 rolls around and we still haven't heard a peep. We call the store again to double check and were told "Yup - they're on their way!". But lo and behold they never showed up that day. We called the next morning, obviously annoyed, and the representative tells us "Oops, our delivery guys had the wrong date - but they'll be there today!". The delivery team did finally show up and install our appliances that time but wouldn't you know... the dryer was defective the second the installation team turned it on! Now it needs to be exchanged. "We will exchange it Monday!" Well, today is Monday and of course we call the store - because again, nobody from this store calls you to give any kind of confirmation about anything - and the representative tells us "Oh yea the delivery guy is out right now ....oh wait actually he said he's not in your area today so it will have to be tomorrow instead." So here we are wasting a fourth weekday on this company who's product we haven't even gotten through our door in one piece. I can only imagine what it's like to have to deal with them for service calls or anything else. 0/10 would not recommend - just go through a big box store like Costco which is what we wanted to do originally but thought we were doing the right thing by supporting a local business. We learned our lesson. read more

The sales staff are nice and the appliance prices are lower, but the service department left much to be desired. I was extremely concerned when I arrived at my 96-year old Grandmother's house to see they were installing a new dryer in her house without wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. After they had left, we discovered the dryer wasn't operating properly, because the gas hadn't been turned on. This left us concerned that they hadn't checked whether the new appliance was installed properly without gas leaks. When we called to follow-up, they felt confident it had been installed properly, essentially asking us just to trust them. In the future, if we buy new appliances here, we will not let them install it. read more

The worst service ever. We had booked a fridge almost two weeks back. We were told told we were lucky aa they have the last piece in their warehouse and promised to get the delivery in three to four business days. Nobody called to deliver. Not only they didn't call, when we call their customer service we found out that they don't have in stock and again told us that they will deliver by the 5th of July for sure. Today its the 6th and no response yet. Very disappointed with them. Will not refer this place to anyone. read more

I've bought 3 major appliances from them and if you buy in Plainfield they have a special and lower sales tax rate for the improvement zone. Roseann Ortis is a liar. She told us our delivery would be in the morning. She further told us if the delivery was not here by 10:30AM we should call her. I called at 10:30AM she told me they would be here in 1 1/2 hours. 3 hours later she tells me they will be here later in the afternoon and she never told us in the morning because they don't do morning deliveries. That's the lie. Of course they do morning deliveries that's why she wanted us to call at 10:30AM if it was not here yet! read more

They always beat the box store prices, you're not charged until delivery, they show up on time, and they make sure you are satisfied. I have been working with Rob Marciano. For the first time in 20years, I was not happy about the A/C Wall install and they had the owner of the install company come to correct the issues in 48 hours - the owner! I forgot to note the serial number before the install. I called Rob and he got me the S/N and put though an order for a part that was damaged. Saved me a call to the manufacture. Don't let the size of their showroom fool you. They have what you are looking for. If they don't they are honest about when they can get the item. So, hats off to a great local business. We have purchased our appliances from SeeMore's in Plainfield NJ since they opened and before that Appliance Arama and we worked with Sal over all the years since he worked for Appliance Arama. We needed a new dishwasher and after shopping around we called SeeMore to place the order for a Whirlpool. It came today and was installed. Looking at it during the install- I didn't remember some details but didn't think much about it - Til after reviewing the receipt... I find the model # was written over in pen with another model #. (Trying to get in touch with Whirlpool to go over specifics with each model.) I called SeeMore's and talked to Sal and asked "What's with the Switch-a-roo? Dispatch must have given you the better model, he said. I told Sal- this is our choice to make, not anyone else. And we were happy with what we chose and paid for via c/c. He gave me a discount for the inconvenience but I'll call it fraud. We have spent thousands over the years and have trusted them. And this is what we got! But no more!! Went to Plainfield branch thinking the Urban Enterprise Zone tax reduction was still in effect. It wasn't, but we are very glad we went to that store. The salesman, Victor, and his colleague were both very cordial and helpful. We got very good explanations, and answers to our questions - crucial when making a major appliance purchase. They were great about scheduling delivery, and about re-scheduling it when we had to change the day. Nice showroom, ample parking. Prices were competitive. Place has some descent choices but if you have any issue at all they are terrible to resolve anything. Refrigerator that we purchased (whirlpool) at end of 2019 stopped working in March of 2020. Called Plainfield and was told to call George's repair for warranty service . Waiting about 16 weeks now with no resolution. Initially called Metuchen store. They keep telling me that it is a Manufacture's warranty but wouldn't let me explain that I already had their service tech out. Had to call Plainfield and everyone was just as rude as the Metuchen store, if not worse. Spent about an hour on the phone and my parts have magically appeared. Save your time and shop anywhere else. read more

When first delivered, the dishwasher we ordered came damaged. Our installers were professional in running through our options. After calling our salesman, they found a replacement for the discontinued unit, rather than trying to upsell us. On the second delivery the installer came in and installed the dishwasher in our small ranch without waking up our 17 month old baby. Great service all around.
