We had met Dr. Tishler at the hospital during our stay there since he was one of the rotating doctors doing checks on the babies. During that time we found him friendly, kind and attentive to our concerns and questions. As a first time parent - life gets crazy after the baby comes, so it's really important to have a doctor who is really patient, attentive, dependable and reassuring. We were excited and nervous since this was our babies first check up since the hospital. The check-in was easy and we were moved to a room fairly quickly. Dr. Tishler came in - his energy felt really tense and rushed. The interaction with our son was minimal and cold and after a quick look at him, Dr. Tishler mentioned that he had severe jaundice which was news to us. He explained that it usually takes a little bit to develop, and most babies are not in the hospital long enough to tell until they get home. He told us he would order him a lab test STAT so we could get the results that evening. If his bilirubin count was high he would have to get treatment. He also gave us some formula, which was disheartening since the baby was doing well nursing. He didn't really explain the exact reasoning for formula, but kept it at a vague response of it would help. All I could focus on was the alarming word "severe" and the fact that I would potentially have to start my baby on formula. We went down to the lab, which was located on the lower level of the building - the baby had to have a heelstick for the blood draw which is tough for any parent to see and then we waited that evening for a call back. When there was no call, I called the office and they said the doctor had left for the day. It was a Friday and he wouldn't be back until Monday. Wait...what? I explained to them that it didn't make sense because of the STAT blood test and his diagnosis of severe jaundice in my 4 day old baby. Ultimately they couldn't help and I requested to be connected to the lab, who also explained that only the doctor would be able to interpret the results. Now I was in complete freak out mode as I researched what would happen if my baby had severe jaundice and what harm that could possibly lead to if untreated. I called the office again and this time I found a way to get a hold of the nurse triage line. I explained to them what had happened and how someone who cares about the health of babies and children basically left us hanging with a fake promise of calling back after saying how severe of a case he potentially had. Luckily they were able to route me to a doctor who pulled up the results, reassured me over the phone that his levels looked normal, and talked me through every question, concern and detail his test results had. She also told me that the severity of jaundice cannot be determined just by looking at the baby, (which Dr. Tishler essentially did) and apologized for any inconvenience and stress it caused us that night. Its so unfortunate that we had this experience, and maybe he was having a real bad day - because I know there are days like that, but when you pride yourself as a professional who is looking out for the well being of babies and children, make a point to be on your game, or if you aren't apologize and make it right.

I normally get it for my menorrhagia which affects me physically & mentally. I have anxiety & depression so when it comes monthly it's even worse for me. Dr. Martin T Sechrist literally tells me to get on birth control to control it, I tell him it doesn't help. I've done pills, patches & the nuva ring. I've had this problem since I was 13! I know it doesn't help! I don't even want to get on birth control. HE WOULDN'T ACCEPT NO, Instead he continues to say I haven't tried the right one. I've never felt so pressured in my life by any doctor to do something I don't want to do, I tell him he's making me emotional. I start feeling stressed, frustrated, ignored, literally everything! I begin to cry because he's not listening to me & continues to pressure me into seeing my obgyn to try all sorts of birth controls because apparently I haven't had the right one. Why isn't he listening to me!?! He then tells me he can't help me since I don't want birth control! He walks out with my paperwork. A girl comes in a bit after & gives me a follow up appointment.....for what!? I tell her he has my paperwork, I want my paperwork back. He comes back in, gives me my paperwork & says he didn't mean to make me emotional. If you didn't, then you wouldn't have been repeating over & over I need birth control. Instead you ignore your patient! I begin walking out saying that's a lie, you're trying to force me to go on birth control when I keep saying I don't want it. As I'm walking out saying he's a liar, HE LAUGHS!!! YUP HE LAUGHS!!! AS IF EVERYTHING THAT JUST HAPPENED WAS A DAMN JOKE TO HIM! I know for sure next few days this is going to be bothering me, I've been crying in my car since I left! I don't feel safe going back here for myself or for my child!

I went in to have my first well check since the pandemic in May 2023. They took my vitals and I…read moreanswered all of the standard health questions. They gave me paperwork to go have my bloodwork done at Unilab, which is now Quest. There's a large group of interns at this practice that work under Dr. Seachrist and Dr. Schneider. The intern that gave me my paperwork apparently coded the bloodwork to be done with the wrong codes. It was billed as routine. Medicare denied the claim as did my secondary insurance. Early February 2024 I received a bill for close to $500 from the lab for my bloodwork. I called the Quest billing department, they stated that it was coded wrong and that was the reason Medicare denied my claim. The lab billing department gave me 45 days to clear it up with the doctors office. I took my paperwork (medicare billing summary and a copy of the lab bill) in to the doctors office had the front office staff person make copies, told them what the issue was, and asked them if they would help to take care of/resubmit with proper codes, etc. I left my phone number and all my information. This was the end of February 2024. I have heard nothing.. so I called two weeks later. No one was available to take my call and my wait time was going to be 79 minutes. I left another message. No return call. I decided to write a letter, directly to Dr. Sechrist...maybe that would get better attention and get the ball rolling in the right direction. No response, no phone call, nothing. I don't have that kind of money. I've never had my bloodwork denied by my insurance before. I never received my results from the doctors office. They told me if I heard from them there was an issue, and if I didn't hear anything that was good news. This is not a good way to run a medical practice. I do not recommend this medical group.

Dr. Minkes is an amazing doctor and fabulous surgeon! He did such a wonderful job on my breast…read moresurgery and removed my cancer tumor with clear margins and now I'm happy to say I am cancer free thanks to Dr. Minkes! He performed a lumpectomy to remove my cancer tumor and I was so afraid of what my breast would look like after surgery and when I saw the amazing job he did, I almost cried tears of joy. Not only is he an amazing surgeon, he is so caring and so kind and explains things to you clear and concise and you leave his appointments feeling confident and well informed. His bedside manner was an A+ in my book. His staff is also very nice and the wait times are minimal. I would recommend Dr. Minkes to anyone who needs to undergo any type of surgery and in my case breast cancer surgery to remove a tumor, he is the greatest in my book. Thank you Thank you!!

Especially with the horrible waiting time. Its hard to get an appointment here for a physical check up - i called in July and made an appointment in September -but I suppose its because she has many patients and thats how you know shes a good doctor. Very patient and understanding as well. Shes really friendly and listens to everything you have to say. If theres anything wrong, she will try to get to the bottom of it. I wont be changing my doctors anytime soon!
