The salad bar in Scapoose was great. With that in mind, we decided to try the Clatskanie Fultano's after a day of enjoying the farmer's market. The staff were friendly and quick to respond. And the restaurant was clean, with lots of seating options. The Clatskanie salad bar was also very good. Everything was crisp and fresh with a good amount of choices. But, it was the pizza that was the pleasant surprise for me. The red sauce is very good. The crust was very thin and crispy. Not a NY style thin, but really crispy. Totally un-foldable, though. But, they don't advertise it as such, so my NY snobbery is misplaced here. The canadian bacon added a most delicious smokey flavor. I gotta say....it won this east coast pizza snob over. I really enjoyed this pizza! Would I eat this over a true NY style Pizza? Naaah. But, since we don't have true blue NY style pizza options in our little corner of the PNW, Fultanos will do.
