I don't know how to start so I will say this…read more The workers there need to be treated better. I have gone in multiple times and every single time one of the young ladies (Sol, Cece, or Mariah) at the register help me, they always seem to be sick. Are they allowed sick hours? Can they call off of work? UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Mariah helped me and she had no voice, meaning she COULD NOT talk at all! Sol was completely under the weather, she had mentioned to her coworker she was going to call off work but was denied. How is that possible?? Mariah, Cece and Sol can be coughing, sneezing, congested even and are at the front ringing people out and greeting them. I feel terrible for them! Lack of manners. Lin and Mariah C have probably the worst customer service to ever exist! Lin always gives me attitude for not having my Port Supply card ready for when I get to the front, I don't know if she notices, clearly I am busy shopping for what I need! I can't always have everything ready. She always tries to force customers to join memberships even when they repeatedly tell her no. In my opinion, very disrespectful. Mariah C (store manager) probably one of the WORST store managers I've ever seen. Lets start with her having sick workers working! She has a very poor attitude, very mean, does not answer to what the workers are asking/saying to her. She needs to be evaluated ASAP. I feel so bad for the young workers who have to work under that poor management. I would never treat ANY of my employees the way she does, EVER! Low stock/inventory. They are missing a lot of inventory and don't know if its because its winter, but I cannot find what I need for my boats! I hope people don't give them a hard time, but I bet they do because of how low their stock is. I used to love coming here but sadly that might have to change soon, l would rate this a 0 if I could, unbelievable.

This company as a whole has the worst management. The treatment the employees are given by their…read moremanagers, to include their HR is awful. Time off is denied for employees but for managers, that's always approved. I will not support an establishment who treats their employees less than. This location has some really great employees (NOT MANAGEMENT) but employees that have great customer service but I refuse to continue and support this store who takes advantage of their hard working employees. I am taking my business somewhere else and I will be taking my concerns to my congresswoman so they can help the employees against the harassment these employees have endured.

This past week I went on the Mirage, the check in was great, fast easy, and set me up with a few extra weights. We caught some sea bass, sheep heads, and rockfish. I would recommend fishing from here.

DO NOT BOOK THE GENTLEMAN We had a miserable fishing…read moreexperience aboard the Gentleman, operated by Ciscos Sportfishing, due to what we felt was a complete lack of support from the captain and crew. My granddaughter and her husband were visiting from Pennsylvania and wanted to explore ocean fishing and make wonderful memories together. We booked a trip for three people on September 18, 2026. We were given a list of equipment to purchase, which we did. The night before our trip, there were 16 passengers booked. When we departed, there were 25 passengers. Several of the additional passengers were wearing Gentleman T-shirts that made them appear to be crew members. Just before boarding, the skipper told us that we would first be fishing for mackerel, which would be used as bait for yellowtail. A special jig was needed to catch the mackerel--equipment we had not been told to purchase. Once underway, the captain announced that if we didn't catch our own mackerel, we would not be allowed to use them. We departed at 6:00 a.m. and spent several hours fishing for mackerel. Since we did not have the proper gear, we caught nothing, and no crew member offered to help us. At approximately 10:30 a.m., we moved to an area to fish for yellowtail. When we arrived, everyone started fishing, and some yellowtail were caught. Again, not one crew member helped us set up our equipment, explained how to fish, or offered any instruction. After the bait was exhausted, we returned to another area to catch more mackerel and then went back to fish for yellowtail. Some passengers caught yellowtail and other fish, but we caught nothing. I fully understand that there is never a guarantee that you will catch fish. What I did expect was that the captain and crew would make a reasonable effort to help three obviously inexperienced fishermen have an enjoyable experience. That did not happen and we have negative memories of ocean fishing. For three novice fishermen spending $450, the complete lack of instruction or assistance was extremely disappointing. We left feeling that our money had been wasted and that no effort had been made to give us a reasonable opportunity to participate. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Today, I purchased a wagon and the young lady who helped me was amazing. She brought the item down, answered my questions, and even offered to carry it for me. She was incredibly kind and deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service. One thing I noticed was that while I was carrying the wagon through the store, the only employees who offered help were female team members. I passed two younger male employees who didn't check in, even though I was clearly struggling a bit. I wasn't expecting anyone to carry it for me, but a simple offer to help would have been appreciated. I also want to recognize the older gentleman outside who checked on me while I was loading my car and made sure I was okay. Overall, this is still a great store. My only suggestion is to encourage all employees to check on customers carrying heavy items. Maybe because I wasn't older or looked like I struggled but it was heavy and seeing me struggle a bit - A small gesture can make a big difference.
