We ultimately made a purchase of a recumbent bike. The sales process couldn't have been easier. And the delivery process was stellar. We were contacted by the distribution department, where the rep could not have been more polite. She reached out proactively with an even earlier delivery date possibility when one opened. We couldn't be there on that date, but appreciated the opportunity. We were then contacted the night before scheduled delivery, and when the driver was within 30 minutes. Today, I purchased a wagon and the young lady who helped me was amazing. She brought the item down, answered my questions, and even offered to carry it for me. She was incredibly kind and deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service. One thing I noticed was that while I was carrying the wagon through the store, the only employees who offered help were female team members. I passed two younger male employees who didn't check in, even though I was clearly struggling a bit. I wasn't expecting anyone to carry it for me, but a simple offer to help would have been appreciated. I also want to recognize the older gentleman outside who checked on me while I was loading my car and made sure I was okay. Overall, this is still a great store. My only suggestion is to encourage all employees to check on customers carrying heavy items. Maybe because I wasn't older or looked like I struggled but it was heavy and seeing me struggle a bit - A small gesture can make a big difference.

Their system came back with $19 for shoes I paid $110 for days earlier. When I asked how that number made any sense, no one could explain it. No price history, no verification, no transparency just "that's what the system says." I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable, just a fair exchange based on the actual purchase price. The part that pushed me to write this review was the manager's response. Instead of helping or even acknowledging the issue, he told me that leaving a review "wouldn't make a difference." That's not just dismissive, it's unprofessional. He said he wouldn't even consider making an exception because I had dropped the F-Bomb in reference to their insane store policy and ridiculous lowball valuation. He also demanded that I apologize to the associate for using the F word. For the record, I found my receipt and will be returning the shoes properly. But the principle matters. If their system is generating inaccurate "lowest selling prices," that affects more than just me. I'll be filing formal complaints with the appropriate agencies so this doesn't get brushed aside. I'm sharing this so other customers know what to expect if they try to make an even exchange without a receipt. My wife wanted a recumbent bike and I wanted an elliptical machine. After doing a lot of research I was going to order online but didn't like the idea of such a big purchase without trying it out. All the stores that used to sell equipment were gone. After some google searching I found RX Fitness. They carry higher end brands but still found some in my budget. Plus their delivery fee includes assembly and was 1/3rd the cost of the websites I was looking at. I called and spoke to Charles who confirmed he had the models we wanted you to try. We went after work since they were having a Labor Day sale. He was extremely knowledgeable and went over the products, explained the differences, and had us try everything. Zero pressure sales, just friendly knowledge. After an hour and a lot of sweat we picked the equipment. A Spirit Fitness XBR95 Recumbent Bike and a Vectra 220 Elliptical. I was originally going to get the Spirit elliptical but I really like the feeling of the Vectra better. We purchased on Tuesday and it was delivered Friday. They don't just order from the manufacturer they have their own warehouse inventory and use a dedicated delivery and assembly team. The delivery crew was equally awesome. While building the equipment they talked about workout tips, showed all the features of the equipment, and went over preventative maintenance tips. I totally love our purchases and even on the lowest setting the elliptical is kicking my butt so I look forward to improving my endurance! If you're looking for fitness equipment look no further. They've got several locations. Newport Beach, Anaheim Hills, and Thousand Oaks. They have cardio and weight lifting equipment.
