Some room packages come with free breakfast, which offers a delightful section of breads, cheeses, fresh fruit, and sliced deli meats. Anyone coming to the Bernese Oberland area should seriously consider a stay at the Hotel Bellevue in Mürren. You won't be disappointed!

The shared bath and shower were tiny but you could see a waterfall out the small window... so cool! Also, the breakfast was huge and delicious. Online reservations through Expedia and check-in were easy. The lobby is beautiful with a bar, lounging area, and even shopping. It feels like a casino. There are three elevators; I only had to wait once because of a large group that just arrived. I was in a single room with a nice bathroom (shower) and balcony. I would have liked fluffier pillows and one more towel plus washcloths for showering. I also made reservations to eat at their awesome restaurant (Top of the Met) with panoramic views and gourmet food. I wish I could get the recipe for their sauce that came with the roasted chicken. I could drink cups of it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try out their sauna or fitness center. Next time!!

Our room had a good sized balcony with table and chair and absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to the train station as well as the gondola to ride up the mountain. Also close to shopping at three coop store. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lobby. Staff super helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Smelled faintly of cigarette smoke (rooms are non-smoking, but they allow smoking on the balconies), but I just kept the window open and that helped. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the falls. Usually we don't like to eat at the hotels where we stay (unless we have to), but the restaurant here was top notch. Liked it so much we ate there 2 of the three nights we were in town. I had the deer both nights, absolutely scrumptious). Their pizzas seem popular, though we did not have one. Super conveniently located across the street from the train station and next to the cable car up to Murren and next to the Coop Grocery (easy to pick up snacks or a bottle of wine). Not for the faint of heart, though. Dragging our bags up the hill to the property was a job - thankfully we were up to it, but if you're booking keep your fitness level in mind (or maybe the hotel offers some sort of help? I didn't ask.) I would definitely recommend staying here. If ever back in Lauterbrunnen, I would stay again.
