The boys had so much fun beating the hell out of each other in a safe, controlled manner and it turned out to be a great bonding experience for my son and his five best friends. We were in and out in an hour (completely exhausted), and it was shockingly affordable. We saved this activity for a rainy day. Don't make the same mistake. The owner, Matt, and our referee, Brody were fantastic and I encourage any group of friends or family to visit asap and make the same memories my crew did. See y'all soon!

They offer a beautiful 9-hole course with some forgiving wide fairways and some challenging uphill par 3s. They went under new ownership in 2020 and the owner has made some tremendous progress with improving the greens and clearing out some overgrown trees that were causing damage to the tall grass areas. I have family who plays here regularly and they offer a Turkey shoot, which is a fun scramble, just prior to closing up for the winter months. It's a great time had by all and for those who frequent the course and clubhouse, they are one big family of golfers. Everyone is part of the family when you choose to swing your clubs at Summit Springs Golf Course.

"You are going to be climbing a F%#king Mountain". A pretty difficult course with lots of trees. You have to be pretty accurate to stay right on target. That being said you will get a work out in as it as some massive elevation for disc golf. I didn't find any of the the holes on the course to be super memorable but overall not a bad place just way far out of the way. The course could use a little TLC in mowing and maybe some large rocks or pathways for the areas that are pretty wet. Bring plenty of bug spray, sunscreen, hiking boots, and a six pack. An updated tetanus shot wouldn't be a bad idea either.

We rented two (two person) jet skis for a half day (4 hours) at a reasonable price and had a blast!…read moreUnfortunately we came an hour late, but 3 hours was plenty to have fun on the lake. When we arrived, they were quick to help us with paperwork and getting us right on the jetskis. There was a $1000 deposit (!!!) per jet ski, because we were going as a group, and this makes accidents more likely, which we were a little leery of, but we didn't damage the jet skis and got our deposit slips back in the end with no issues. The girl helping us was friendly and briefly went over how to operate the jet skis and where to avoid, etc. We had a great time on the lake, and went for many dips in the clear, cool water. The jet skis seemed pretty new, and had a small watertight compartment and a larger compartment that was not watertight. They're really easy to operate. When we came back, we did have to wait a while in the heat to get checked out and pay for gas, because there was only one person manning the dock. This wasn't really an issue for us as we were in no rush. I would highly recommend renting jet skis from here.

We were told that the trip would take 4 hours and we planned the day around that. We are not experienced kayakers but we finished in just under 2 hours.... The trip was uneventful, a leisurely float. We saw a blue heron and some geese. If you are looking to kayak in a wilderness setting, this part of the river is not for you. Nothing against the company but in 2 hours we had to dodge upwards of 100+ people floating on tubes not to mention flotillas of other kayakers and canoers. And the end of the trip we had to wait 40 min to be picked up and be brought back to were we parked and the driver was speeding and had the radio blasting--not very professional. The tandem kayak we were in was in good condition, name brand although the paddles were cheap. The star rating here is due to inconvenient transportation setup and driver professionalism (or lack thereof)

They've kept the classic look and style of the original bowling alley, which gives it a nostalgic feel--even though the old scoring machines no longer work, they provide pencils and paper so you still get that authentic experience. The food is great, and the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. We're so grateful to have a place like this locally--it's fun, laid-back, and a perfect spot to spend time with family.
