Every time we are in North Conway we play a few rounds at pirates cove. Two courses, both fun and clean

Before I start this review, I want you to know I kicked my 8 year old nephew's rear end. Can't be letting him win, you know? I got a reputation to protect. Anyways, about the review. Awesome course. There are actually 2 courses on each side of the road -- both are subsequently 18 holes and you choose which one to venture. The courses were rich with creative design and complimented with fun facts about pirates. I recommend this golf course and had a blast. read more

Both of the courses at this place (2 separate 18 hole courses) are well maintained. The landscaping around Blackbeard's Revenge (the course closer to the street) is more mature and makes for a slightly nicer wait. And that's the problem with just about any mini golf course -- if you go at the wrong time, the pace of play is unbearable. Some families of 6 try to play as a group which is unfair to others. The course is rather easy with quite a few holes being just straight shots -- if you're a decent putter, you'll probably end up with a few hole-in-ones. Most holes are also rather short which further decreases the difficulty. All in all, a fun experience, especially if you go when it's quiet. read more

This past 4th of July we spent some time at Pirates Cove in an attempt to define who the best mini golfer is in the family (ok, that was my though but I think it was less of a competition for others). Pirates Cove has always been a landmark for me having frequented the location on Cape Cod. This location was just as incredible and we enjoyed golfing here. The course was clean, we didn't feel rushed, and the staff was polite. The cost was reasonable and as a large group we spent quite a while here. In the end, we had a blast here! Also, if anyone cares I won... ok, enough gloating. read more

Pirates Cove is a great spot for some good mini golf. Its really cool that it has two 18 hole courses. I'd say the Blackbeard course was slightly nicer than the Captains course, but both were def a lot of fun to play. Like a previous reviewer had stated, the only drawback is if its too crowded with groups of 5 or more. Luckily for us we were able to avoid some slow groups by doing the Captains course first and then playing the Blackbeard course afterwards. Will def be back, shot a 9 under 35 at the Blackbeard course, no big deal 8-) read more

Pirates mini golf! I haven't played mini golf in years but since we were on our honeymoon I challenged my husband to a round. The 18 hole course was $8.50 a person, I found a coupon so it was $1 off each adult. The course was fun and well maintained. My husband and I tied even though I got 3 hole in ones! If we wanted to play another round when we finished it would have been $10.00. I kind of wish we did a rematch. read more

A fun way to end a weekend getaway to the White Mountains! Even more fun for me because I won! We did the "Blackbeard Challenge" which is supposed to be harder course, but it didn't seem that hard to do... I wish it had been more challenging! It was $17 for two adults so not too expensive, and it only takes about an hour to go through! Fun for all ages! read more

If it's not busy, definitely go for both courses! We finished (just my son & I) so quickly, that we wanted more! Ended up getting clubs again to do the second course. Lots of fun and laughs! read more

I have such mixed feelings on this golf course, and it isn't just because I'm scared to death of sharks and they have a giant fake one hanging up. Back in the day there used to be a mom & pop mini-golf course down the street, right next to the Blueberry Muffin restaurant. I loved that course cause it wasn't over glorified, and it was hard as heck (a lot went uphill). Pirate's Cove moved in and unfortunately that place closed. Pirate's Cove does have a fun course, but it's over $10/person to play and the bulk of the course leaves you standing in the direct sunlight. They are also lacking ice cream, don't they know the two go hand in hand!? I'm not going to lie, I go here every year and I enjoy it. But I would be very happy if someone reopened the place down the street. Maybe this is my calling in life.... read more

So we came up for the 4th of July weekend and this place is one of the places wanted to go to. The golf course is super clean and uninterrupted by its surroundings. The course is fairly difficult but still challenging. Definitely the place to go for mini golf a nice real place to have fun. read more

Two courses available - the largest with 18 holes. Both were well maintained and with good views (especially the larger one). One of the holes is located under a waterfall! Pirates in the water, pirates in the trees and lots of humorous signs about. I haven't tried mini golf in a long while, and the family and I really enjoyed it here. This location offers two 18 hole courses. We did the one in the back of that is said to be easier. It was fun. The course is nice but some of the stairs need repair. Remember to use bug spray to avoid mosquito bites. I thought this course was over priced compared to the competitor down the street. read more

A-OK. Nothing to really complain about here. It's a standard mini-golf that is slightly over priced and not near any big developments (of course nothing in this area of New Hampshire is that near development). It's a nice place to relax and mess around after a day walking in the the mountains, swimming in Diana's Bath, or shopping at the near by outlets. read more

A pretty course from the outside and in. It's $8.50 for either of the 2 courses. We played the challenge course the first day and had so much fun we returned the next day to play the other course. For 2 people either course can be completed fairly easily in 30-45 minutes. It was busy but not overcrowded so we had a great time. They even had water in a few spots on the course that you could just take and pay $1 when you're done. A very good idea. read more

You can't beat Pirate's Cove for good, clean courses that are well-maintained. I like this course since it is challenging, but not "I want to throw my club into the street" challenging. It is also only a dollar or so more than a lot of other courses at $8 and it is in such better condition than a lot of places out there. read more

Really cute mini golf course! 2 18 hole courses to choose from. One very simple & easier, I guess for younger kids. The other 'Blackbeards' is the main one & very cool. They also have a cooler w I team bars for sal if u want a sweet treat. Kids loved it! Would definitely go back. :) read more
