Rock chips happen, and sometimes those turn into cracks. And if you have an old truck like me with…read moreoriginal glass, you might be a little nervous to get it replaced. Is it going to fit right? Will that blue glare strip be at the top? The only way to find out is just to do your research, find a glass company that specializes in the older glass replacements and ask questions if you've got em (which I did). My insurance sent me to Safelite, but after reading their reviews there was no way I was going to trust them with my truck! I found Blue Chip and their amazing customer feedback online and gave them a call. Kelly answered my questions, and was humbled by my asking to switch from Safelite. The appointment was set, lobby was stocked with delicious snacks (even vegan) and drinks, and the bathroom was clean. Chris checked me in, and John checked me out when it was time to leave. Freddy did a stellar job on my truck, even grabbing me to show what the body of my truck looked like after removing the old glass (yeah, there was some rust there). He explained that while he can do his best to clean it up by grinding it, that there would be a chance in the future for leaks and would be unavoidable unless I got body work done to fix it, which I opted out of. I thanked him for his transparency. Mind you, I have a 1999 GMC Suburban, which is not perfect, but I don't mind it. Freddy showed me my glass when he was all finished and I couldn't have been happier! I met Kelly in person as I was leaving and find that he is a great business owner who really cares about his clients and their experience with his shop. This is the type of business I have no problem supporting every time, and if I need them in the future, "I'll be back".

Knowing how quickly a chip can spread in the Arizona heat, he fit me into his schedule within two hours on a Saturday--even though it was his birthday--and came directly to my home. Before starting, he explained the repair process and was honest about the small possibility that the repair might not hold. He was knowledgeable, personable, and provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. The repair came out great; you can barely tell there was ever a chip there. I really appreciate Paul coming out on such short notice and going above and beyond. With Arizona roads, I'm sure this won't be my last windshield chip, and I'll definitely call him again. Highly recommend Stars Windshield Repair!

I brought the issue to their attention expecting them to stand behind their work and take responsibility for the damage. Unfortunately, Safelite has refused to take responsibility or properly address the issue. I'm extremely disappointed that a company of this size would damage a customer's vehicle and then refuse to make it right. The quality of the customer service and accountability I received was unacceptable. I would strongly recommend documenting your vehicle thoroughly before and after any service with Safelite, because if something goes wrong, you may be left dealing with the consequences yourself. I expected better from Safelite and will not be using them again.

Chaney's Collision Center and A Plus Glass are great companies to work with. After one of their…read morecompetitors damaged my window regulator while "trying" to replace my door glass, late on a Tuesday afternoon, A Plus Glass replaced both the door glass and the regulator at a moments notice. It was 3:00 in the afternoon and after the glass company, my insurance company scheduled to replace my door glass, wasn't experienced enough to replace it, I was at the end of my rope. We had our Toy Hauler loaded and ready to leave for the mountains in the morning. I called Chaney's Collision Center and spoke to Joe Downey. I explained the situation to Joe and he immediately, without hesitation said he would take care of everything from the repair to billing the Insurance company. He coordinated the repair with Carmele and Betty at A Plus Glass and told me to take my truck over to them ASAP. When my wife arrived at A Plus Glass they were waiting for her so they could start the repairs. They quickly got the vehicle to a Technician and he immediately went to work on it. It was now almost 4:00 and they didn't have the part in stock. Most companies would have told my wife she would have to come back tomorrow. Not A Plus Glass. They sent a driver out to the east side of the valley to pick up the part they needed to complete the repair and they even stayed after hours to finish the job. There was some question about my insurance coverage of the window regulator but A Plus Glass said not to worry, they would bill the insurance company and if they didn't cover it they would let us know and bill us. That was going way above and beyond. Thanks to Joe, Betty, Carmele, the Technician and anyone else behind the scenes for providing "World Class Customer Service!!!!!
