Jeff is very professional and friendly! Always very helpful and always gets our service request done efficiently.

Great service from everyone that works here! Manny and Wesley that work in the leasing office are incredibly friendly and helpful and make everything super easy to understand! The amenities are all updated and really nice, just like most of the apartments! Couldn't be happier with any experience I've had at Sedona! 10/10 read more

Decent place to live at: Pros: Staff are friendly and respond to service requests quickly People are nice They have taco nights during the week Generally enough parking, mainly on one side of the apartment Cons: Once you move out they will deduct your whole security deposit and more. This has never happened to me and we lived here for less than 1.5 years. They charge for normal wear and tear and expect the tenants who leave to pay for maintaining the apartments by charging to paint the whole apartment and to wash the carpet. This also happened to one of our neighbors who moved out before us. Management also gives too much leeway for pet owners. I always saw dog poop, and our neighbor's dog would constantly bark in the patio for hours at a time The main gate was commonly left open during the night Lots of moisture build up inside the apartment would require constant cleaning read more

I have been here 8 years the rent increases by $100/mo every year. I changed it to month to month (3 years ago) and they then increased my rent to $200/mo. Car break ins are now a regular concern and management was dismissive when I brought it to their attention. read more

My mom and I have been residents at these apartments since Nov 2016. I have to say, Sedona has easily been the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. THE PROPERTY: Nature is a HUGE part of the community. Tall trees, bushes, and a mini river not only make the complex feel natural, but also add elements of zen. I found it super relaxing to come home from long days at work to a home I could really relax in. If you prefer this type of environment over cities or busy areas, this is the right place for you. There's an incredible pool area in the center that includes a hot tub, cabanas, beach chairs, shower, and fire pit (most of these were recently added). There's also a tennis court in the back corner which I've never seen anybody use. Oh if you're a Pokemon GO player, the swimming pool and tennis court are both Pokestops. THE LOCATION: From what I know about my neighbors, everyone who lives here chooses to do so very intentionally. It's away from the noise. The roads have no traffic. Fellow residents are super quiet, clean, and respectful. As someone who enjoys serenity at home, I found this community to be utterly perfect. Besides, Fullerton's only a 10 minute drive away if you want more excitement. Yorba Linda is also starting to develop significantly (Peet's Coffee, Pieology, Tokyo Central, The Habit just opened there. I think more hipster millennial joints are coming soon). THE UNIT: We had a 2BR/2BA on the second floor. Washer and dryer were both in unit, which meant never having to take laundry to the laundromat (although they do have a laundromat near the pool with larger machines). Vaulted ceilings make 2nd floor units feel SUPER spacious. One complaint though are the showers. FYI if you like warm showers after a long day, you might be disappointed. When one of the neighbors flushes a toilet, your shower will suddenly turn ICY cold or SCALDING hot for 45 seconds. At that point, you stand awkwardly to the back of the tub and wait, or you just get out. I've asked management to investigate this several times, but each time they entered and "couldn't find any problems." My guess is the infrastructure wasn't built to support multiple sources of water, so every building shares the same water pipe. THE PARKING: Tons of it. You can have 30 guests over and this place won't run out of parking. Each unit gets a single carport. I've never seen the parking lot completely full. There are multiple reports here on this Yelp page of car windows being shattered at night. In my 3 years, I've never heard of any. They might have upped the security patrols at night or something. SAFETY: I can't speak for the female residents here, but I certainly have never felt any kind of danger - even at ass o'clock in the morning. In fact, I see neighbors walk their dogs at 2AM pretty often. There are a bunch of trails through the community so you never have to leave the premises. THE MANAGEMENT: One word: understanding. I honestly can't give the front office personnel here enough credit for how amazing they are. Breeana Gomez and Darrell Wase are seriously champions. You call them about any issue - it's fixed by the next day. They handle any requests without delays and really make sure residents are happy to live here. But their service goes beyond just administrative work. I think what sets the office team here apart from other properties is compassion. I had an important phone interview for a life-changing job one afternoon, but I couldn't take the call at home because I needed to be distraction-free. I called Darrell to ask if there was a quiet office space somewhere on the premises where I could take the call. He allowed me to use the guest suite where I had the entire place to myself. I spent a good 45 minutes on that interview, and today I work for that company. I'm now living in the Bay Area as a result. And that's not all! Several times, my lease expired and I wasn't certain if I'd be signing another year or moving out. The problem is, without signing a lease, the month-to-month payment would be astronomical. So I explained my situation to Darrell and Breeana at the front office. Each time, they went to bat for me with the management company and allowed me to stay a few extra months at the normal rate. Knowing, as residents, that these guys will go above and beyond to take care of you is not only convenient, but also comforting. It doesn't feel like you're dealing with a strict management company when you live here. There are caring people who work here, and I think that's a critical part to what makes Sedona a place to call home. CONCLUSION Everything about this community feels like it was designed to perfect the resident experience.. and they honestly nailed it. From well-maintained lawns, trails, facilities, and buildings, to being able to pay and request services from this super convenient online portal, Sedona is a property I think you'll never forget about. I'm really going to miss this place. read more

We had a wonderful tour with Jazmin! She was knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. We toured 8 different apartments in 2 days, so many tours and properties blended together. Sedona stayed clear in our mind and we were confident that we would enjoy living there. Ultimately, we chose a different option due to proximity to certain freeways that worked better for our lifestyle. If things change, we won't hesitate to consider Sedona again. Thanks again, Jazmin! read more

I just moved in like two weeks ago. I came from another apartment complex in Anaheim. So far this apartment complex has met all my expectations. It is such a great complex and the team in the leasing office is so nice and accommodating. The apartment and area are just beautiful. Walls are little thin but not as bad as many other apartment complex. You may hear the water turn on from your neighbors but if noise does not bother you or you are a heavy sleeper, than you should be fine. Lots of parking for guest. The surrounding areas are super safe. You see many people walking at night. So happy to call this place my home. read more

Bree and Darrell are wonderful. From the start they made my leasing process easy and quick. The office atmosphere and ambiance is unparalleled next to any others I've seen. Personally , I feel like that introduction in itself is gonna coincide with the property and how well it's kept. The leasing agents are so valuable To the complex as I'm sure it sells Itself to a certain extent but Darrell and Bree are critical in the dynamic of closing the sale and it's entirety. Every time I step into that office they are all a joy and nothing but smiles. They offer you a drink to sit and and hang if you wanted. It really makes for so much more of a personal vibe verses so occupational. That in itself should get a stellar review, unequivocally!! I had to have a few maintenance things done shortly after moving in and they couldn't of been taken care of faster. Furthermore, I can appreciate the email follow up. Huge deal when it comes to customer service or should I say tenant service. Maintenance guys are professional and very kind. The property speaks for itself. It's really tucked away in a beautiful residential area and lots of trees and the landscaping is beautiful and well kept. The pool area is gorgeous. It's a cut above with the lounge furniture in the grass area and the fire pit. The apartments are gorgeous. Some may say pricey but I'm a strong believer in you get what you pay for. It's really a package deal with the leasing agents being so wonderful. I'm thrilled and overjoyed to be back in this area and happy with my new apartment. Thank you Darrell for being so prompt on follow up via email!! You guys are the heart of this gorgeous property. read more

This review is long overdue. We have lived here for 4 years and have to say thank you to Manny Casas our former property director who managed this property since July 2022 and did a fantastic job. Along with leasing staff Wesley Vang and Maintenance Supervisor Jeff Carvajal, they always respond quickly to requests and make Sedona a great place to live and raise a family. Our son goes to school close by and we have all amenities we need on site. I know there are many options for apartment complexes in Orange County but I highly recommend looking at Sedona first. read more

Lived here for 2 years and moved out Nov. 2021. - People constantly move in and out as they raise the rent by $100+ each year. - Even though we made sure to leave no trash, vacuum the floor, and clean the place ourselves, they managed to spend $360 to "clean" the apartment. By law, the landlords are the ones responsible for re-painting and steam carpet cleaning the normal wear and tear when residents have lived there for 2 years. I asked about this in the email and they never replied. Once you've moved out and they took your deposit, they do not care. Don't expect to get your deposit back. - Lots of bug problems. Silverfish infested and lots and lots of spiders and ants (even when we lived on the 2nd floor). - Walls are thin and old. You can hear the next-door neighbor argue. - Management is extremely controlling about anything visible in the patio, windows, front door etc. they will make you put down any decorations, string lights, hummingbird feeders, etc. - Parking seems ample during the daytime, but make sure to check it out at night. Some nights, I would have to park pretty far, making it about 3-4 minute walk. - The "security" drives around the parking lot once throughout the night and leaves to other properties. There is no security on site. The only pro I can think of is that the property from the "outside" looks nice. They clean and upkeep the plants, trees, flowers very well. read more

I've been living here for about 2 years and I want to say that it's a beautiful community to live in, very clean and their staff is very friendly. New resident at Sedona the application process to move in was very smooth with this property management company. The apartments look great and everything is well maintained. read more

I've been living here for about a year (going into 2) now and everything has been great...up until the start of this year. Within less than 4 months, 4 cars were broken into - 3 of them with broken windows and 1 just stolen items. Note that these were incidents that I personally knew about, not those that were reported separately. Which in that case...there may be more. Management (Erica - but she no longer is at this location) is super friendly when it comes to helping with your lease and/or apartment issues, but none of that matters if the place you live isn't safe. Front gates are constantly left open, back walls can be easily jumped over, no lights or cameras installed in dim-light parking areas. With my boyfriend's car being broken into most recently, I'm honestly afraid to live here now. When he spoke with the police, they mentioned that other nearby apartments have had multiple encounters of cars being broken into which is why they have installed CAMERAS and LIGHTS for resident's protection. Why is Sedona falling so behind? As of right now, I would not recommend anyone applying for a lease here just purely based on security issues. read more

Moved in about 5 months ago, love how clean the grounds are kept. Everyone from the leasing office to the maintenance team is helpful and friendly. The area is very safe and driving distance to gas stations, restaurants and freeway. Pricing is very reasonable! Susie the Property Director was extremely helpful and made the moving process a delight. Pros -I've never had issue with visitor parking -Laundry and pool always kept clean -Gated community -Tennis court!!! -Safe Neighborhood Cons -None at the moment read more

I really enjoyed living here. I think these apts are the best that I lived at. There were a few issues in the beginning with one of the maintenance guys, but that was resolved. I think he ended leaving the apts and no longer worked there. The other maintenance guys were extremely nice and very professional. The people at the office were very polite and professional as well. If there was an issue with the apartment or something was broken, all you had to do was call the office and they would send someone out immediately. They were on top of it. Two bad things about this place, one is the rent. They do raise it every year and in the end I was pretty much forced to move out. It was too much for me to pay on my own as 2 of my roommates had lost their job. Two, Gym not so great. It is very tiny and only has 5 machines. This is a huge huge complex, and for the price of the rent, they should expand it and add more equipment. The laundry facility always clean and so was the pool. Very quiet and peaceful. Overall if I could move back here I would. read more

Sedona - So green!!! - Apartments Near Me - Placentia, California

My roommates and I moved into Sedona Apartments on October 2017 until August 2019. If it weren't for my roommates relocating due to their career opportunities, we would keep renewing our lease here. We absolutely loved our stay here; the property managers are incredibly responsive and will assess to fix any maintenance issues promptly and accurately. Bree and Darrell are courteous, fair, and personable as they treat you not as a transactional customer; but as their valued client. We had no issues with the community and did not encounter any car theft, burglaries, or anything in that nature during our tenure here. The best perk was the ample parking that is provided by the property aside from the assigned carport. You do not have to worry about parking in the street or leaving your car in another neighborhood - worse scenario, you will have to park at the other side of the apartment complex; however, at least your car is still within the gated community. We also had no issues regarding our appliances or any utility services working. The apartment complex in itself is full of quiet families or full-time professionals - never did I hear any parties being thrown. Are people over? Yes, but not to the point where you won't be able to get a good night's sleep. In terms of cleanliness, we did not experience any insects or parasites aside from the occasional spiders (probably 3-5 throughout the two years we stayed) that we just killed. If you're clean, the apartment will be as well. Some units include washer/dryer, our unit included this; therefore, we do not have any comments regarding their in-unit laundromat. Yes, there are numerous projects that occurred throughout our stay; however, they are all related to improvements for the community and renovations so that the property is up-to-date (which means better tenants (which means better neighbors)). The property management also provides weekly e-mail distributions regarding events that they are having throughout the community. Although we did not participate in any of them, we still wanted to acknowledge the effort of management ensuring that Sedona is a community. Some of the events they would throw are: Taco Tuesdays (they bring a taco man and you can purchase tacos right in front of the leasing office), Fourth of July events, Labor Day, and etc. We should acknowledge things that the property could do better; but this being my third apartment, Bree and Darrell (and the rest of the team) have been accommodating and fair as long as you communicate with them any issues you have. They really do make the effort to remedy any situation (we have email threads when we placed a complaint, and their response time is always less than 24 hours). Again, if we could, we would continue to stay here; but all good things come to an end. Thank you Sedona's property management team for allowing our stay to be the best experience to date - and to whomever is reading this review, I normally do not take the time to write reviews, and if I do they are not this long. We really did love our stay here! read more

Living at Sedona was great! If they offered larger floor plans we definitely would have stayed; our expansion to a 5th roommate required at least a third room. However, the staff is super friendly, especially Bree and Darrell. I always received smiles from the staff and maintenance, even the pizza Monday's gal--she's the sweetest. I also appreciated how much they loved and accepted our ESA pup, Peachy, with open arms! Thank you all so much, I wish nothing but the best. read more

I have lived here for almost 2 years, and while my apartment is pretty outdated, management is quick to send a repairman. All employees I have come in contact with have been welcoming and helpful. Management really seems to care. The neighborhood is quiet, but there was a 6 month period of car break ins. I haven't heard an alarm go off in a few months, so hopefully whoever it was left or was caught. read more

Jeff has been amazing with helping fix my apartment. On two occasions he has helped solved my issue quickly.

Very beautiful and quiet community. Everyone is super friendly. I love how they have weekly food trucks. Remodel is beautiful.

Previously rented an upstairs non upgraded 2 bedroom 2 bath place here. Its hard to rate a place you have lived, its like being in a long term relationship. You can really like it at first but find lots of flaws along the way. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Never had a bug problem, very spacious with a lot of storage for an apartment, never heard neighbors through the walls (except for the one below...but i think it was because he enjoyed playing music for the entire complex), clean when we moved in, we got a fair amount of our security deposit back. Cons: annoying kids always at the pool, security gate was always broken, only one parking space with our 2 bedroom (one of us sometimes had to park at the other end of the complex if we got home really late), specifically our apartment was bad for satellite (the guy wouldn't even install it), terrible internet reception too, no parks or anywhere to really walk to close by. Over all, it was fine, but nothing to rave about. read more

Pretty nice place to live. Maintenance requests are taken care of quickly and the people in the office are very nice. The only bad parts are like the other reviewers said about the gates. They rarely are functioning properly, but it's really not that big of a deal. It's a safe area and we've never gotten stuck in or out. I really do wish there was a way to open the gate from your apartment without a landline though. Overall a nice place that's clean and quiet. read more

Sedona maintenance team (shout out to Jeff) always amaze us. Whenever we request for maintenance or repair, the team responded promptly. And you can always see they care about the place as much as the tenant does. Thank you the team! read more

Sedona is such a beautiful place to live! I moved in August of 2016, and after two wonderful years, my roommates and I decided to go our separate ways. I was very sad to leave this community. The apartment itself was a nice open floor-plan, which I love! We had a dual master and it was great to have the bedrooms on opposite sides of the apartment, as we had opposite schedules. It was great upon move in that they allow you to paint accent walls. The patio is HUGE! And there is a ton of storage! The grounds are always kept up very nicely. One of the best things about this community is the parking! We had 3 cars and not once did we have trouble finding parking. We had one car port with the apartment and open parking for the other two. Having guests over was always nice since there was always open parking! The office staff is amazing. They are always very helpful. Maintenance is very quick about completing work orders. I have to rave about Bree! On Black Friday I ordered something and somehow the address defaulted to my old address. I called Bree in the leasing office to let her know and ask that she let the new tenants know and possibly intercept the package. She went ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure I received the package! I really appreciate all the work she put in even though I'm no longer a tenant! Thank you Bree! Hopefully one day, I may be able to move back! read more

Beware of scammer Heaven Casey in apartment H 1630 scammed my family in I out of a "sub-lease" we are now homeless

Best apartment management by far! I lived here for 2 years and it's been the best experience at an apartment by far. There are plenty of parking, quiet neighbors, and great management staff. My emails are answered within a few hours and maintenance team works really hard to get things done within 24 hours (although I believe their policy is 48 hours). I've never had my car broken into (although I see a lot of reviews about security) nor have I had any issues walking around the apartment complex at night. I lived here alone for 2 years and I have never felt threatened (there are women that live here who walk their dogs past midnight). My neighbors were polite and quiet most of the time. The apartment common areas are well kept. Most importantly, I got my security deposit back in full (minus the cleaning fee which is very much standard for any apartments). The only thing I would say is that they do raise their rent every year and for the square footage you're getting, it may seem a little pricey BUT for how much I loved everything else, I would rent again in a heartbeat! read more

So I dont write a lot of reviews usually, but I felt compelled to let everyone know how amazing this place is to live!!! 1. Bree our leasing agent was amazing and very responsive to any questions my husband and I had about the move. 2. We've had some minor work orders needed when we moved it (totally normal) and they were addressed VERY quickly! Maintenance guy is awesome! 3. Every other place we visited we could tell parking was a nightmare - well not at Sedona!!! We've had no issues so far finding open parking for our 2nd car plus no parking issues when we've had friends over. Such a huge benefit! 4. VERY reasonably priced - especially for the size of the place, the amenities you get and the beautiful location! Washer/dryer in unit are super small stackables but great bonus to be able to do a quick load of wash. Gated community! Tucked away and beautiful community. CENTRAL AC!!!! (Curious what my electricity bill will be - lol! May be enjoying the wonderful AC a little too much!) 2nd floor has VAULTED ceilings!!! Opens up the apartment and makes it feel even larger than it is! Open kitchen with a ton of cabinets! Oh and I can't wait to pick a color for an accent wall to be painted that they offer!!! We LOVE our new little community and I promise you won't be disappointed you chose to call Sedona home! read more

I have lived at Sedona for 11 months and I have never been happier. It's a quiet and well kept community with delightful neighbors and management. There's construction EVERY DAMN DAY. Seriously non stop construction and this complex is still a piece of shit. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I don't like to leave negative feedback, however, as awesome as the leasing office people are, it isn't helping with the break ins to our cars. There have been several in the last few months. They refuse to obtain any type of surveillance to keep our cars safe. I only hope it doesn't lead to apartment break-ins. The apartments are gated giving us false sense of safety and security for our families. I hope they see these posts and actually do something about it. Cameras cannot cost that much. read more

I rented a studio unit at Sedona for two years, and had a largely positive experience. I rarely had to submit maintenance requests for my apartment, and when I did, management promptly responded the same day. The pool, spa and tennis courts are huge selling points - they are generally kept in pristine condition and are rarely crowded. The lawns and common areas are also well-maintained. Since the beginning of 2018, management seems to have placed a renewed emphasis on updating the units' attached patios and the carports, so the property seems to only be getting better. As a minor complaint, the complex could have used better parking enforcement - a number of broken-down cars were left idle in unreserved spaces for weeks at a time, making parking difficult for visitors. Again, this seems to have improved in recent months. Overall, while Sedona is a bit overpriced (which is par for the course for Orange County), it is probably one of the best values in the area for the money. read more

I have lived here for almost a year now. This is a fantastic apartment complex to live in. It is nice and quiet through all parts of the day with the occasional sound of kids playing at the pool or gardening / property maintenance. You can only really hear outside noise if the windows are open. Even being so close to the train tracks, you don't here it that often unless the conductor has to toot his horn for some reason and even then the sound is faint. I rarely here my neighbors at all through the walls, although I have met a few that are very friendly and pleasant to talk too. I've got a front unit where you can here the sounds of the water feature at night, it is a very relaxing sound. I have not had any problems with the unit with the exception of a clogged shower drain when I first moved in that was fixed promptly. The unit has nice clean features and has a very house like feel. I sometimes forget I live in an apartment. Parking is awesome. I have never had a problem with parking and we have 3 cars to our unit. The staff is very nice and down to earth. They have always been very cool people and answered all my questions when I have had any. Occasionally, the complex will host Taco Night, where a local Mexican style restaurant sets up shop in the parking lot. I love taco night. Dinner served right outside your door. Altogether, I'd have to say that this is one of the best complexes that I have lived in throughout my ten years of renting (Second only to Huntington Beach). The only reason I am moving out is because I currently have roommates and we're going our separate ways. But if it weren't for that reason, I would definitely renew my lease. Highly recommended. Its a little on the pricier side, but well worth the little extra for a place that truly feels like home versus just another apartment. read more
