I know we all have had bad experiences with Xfinity. Once they Comcast/Xfinity got to the top they…read morescrewed things up, but I wanted to add a little bit of hope. Please read. Title: Outstanding Service from Xfinity Corporate and James the Technician I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Ms. Jazmine J from Corporate, and James, a technician who visited my father-in-law's house. Let me start by saying that my previous experiences with Xfinity were less than stellar--poor customer service, long wait times, and unfulfilled promises left me frustrated. However, things have taken a positive turn since Corporate got involved. Let's start with the positives... PROMPT RESOLUTION. After reaching out to Xfinity Corporate with my concerns, I received a swift response. They valued my business and ensured that my issues were resolved promptly. They restored service after there was a mix up with the equipment and things were not working correctly. Jame's visited my father-in-law on 7/25/24 and got everything functioning properly. Kudos to James for his efficiency and expertise and making my 83 year old father-in-law feel important. The next best thing is that there were no charges as promised for the visit. This commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable. I think as a customer and the concerns that I have for all of us just when we try to call in for help. Xfinity has a few areas for improvement if they want to improve from thier ratings online. The frontline customer service needs much improvement. While Corporate stepped in admirable, there's still room for improvement at the frontline customer service level. The issues I faced intially should be addressed to prevent similar frustrations for other customers, but from what I read on social media it appears that we all are fedup with the terrible wait times, calls dropped, poor communication, and promises broken. As clear communication is essential Xfinity should ensure that promises made during the interactions are consistently upheld. Overall, my recent experience with Ms. Jazmine J with Corporate was refreshing and pure pleasure for once. She is very professional and treated me with respect. When things could not be fixed over the phone she quickly found us a technician that came out the same day. The tecnichian's name is James and he went above and beyond to help my father-in-law. I am happy to report that his landline, internet, and tv are all working properly now. I truly appreciate their efforts in resolving my little issue and concerns swiftly. However my little issue is just a drop in the bucket compared to the other complaints that I have read about. Xfinity should read this and continue working on enhancing customer service accross the board. Thank you, Jazmine J., for your assistance. If anyone needs help, I recommend reaching out to Xfinity Corporate for efficient resolution. Brian Kalafatich

One gentleman said something about a do not call list and hung up..? I wasn't sure if I was put on this list so I called back. I was then hung up on before I could even ask?! Hanging up on callers is extremely unprofessional and very rude. Who is customer service outsourced to?! I'll never get xfininty due to this interaction. Worst customer service I've encountered. Do not recommend spending your money here.

I had a great experience with Virginia Court Services in Roanoke County for serving legal…read moredocuments. I found their level of professionalism to be higher quality than I am typically used to encountering due to the fact that they are private investigators as well. They were able to serve an evasive respondent on a case within the promised timeframe. Overall, I found their services to be of great value since I only had to hire one company to complete the service of the legal documents from finish to start. Thank you, Jeff and team.

DO NOT USE THIS INVESTIGATIVE COMPANY…read more I was referred to Jeff Spar by another Private Investigation company in Roanoke because they did not handle Child Custody cases. Seeing as the other firm had excellent reviews, and upon researching Mr. Spar a bit, I found he had almost 30 years of experience in the field. When we first spoke on the phone (as he is in Virginia, and I am in Pennsylvania). He was kind and reassuring. However, this was not to last long. I paid Mr. Spar $1200 up front as a retainer fee. This money would be used as he continued his investigative work. We got to a period of time where he had picture and video evidence of what I was after, and he told me that I had a few hundred dollars left. At this point, he said he could issue me a refund (though seemed hesitant). Since it was close to the holidays, we decided to wait until after the holidays, and when I had spoken again with my lawyer, to see if he could be of continued assistance. When I spoke to my lawyer, she confirmed there was really nothing else that he could do, that anything else would need to be done between lawyers and the court. When I informed Mr. Spar of this (2/22/18), suddenly that few hundred dollars I had left was non-existent (on 3/12/2018). He told me that he had 'forgotten' to take into account a day, and it in fact put me OVER the $1200 that I had initially paid - but because he was a nice guy he wouldn't charge me for the overage. In the meanwhile, Mr. Spar had some sort of equipment failure - during which he lost ALL of my pictures, video, etc. He had to ask me to send him anything I had (3/12/2018). I had, of course, saved every picture he had sent to me from his cell phone, and even the videos he took and send me from his cell phone of his handheld camcorder showing me what he had been capturing. I sent everything I had back to him, waiting for him to put together my report (which he said would include a flash drive of pictures and videos). I gave him my mailing address this day (3/12/2018), as he said within a week he would be mailing the report out. On 4/4/2018 I had not yet received the report, and contacted him to ask if he had sent it out and perhaps it had gotten lost in the mail. He got back to me the next day (4/5/2018) saying he needed to get back to the office and print and mail everything. On 4/13/2018, Mr. Spar sent me a message telling me he did "not forgot you the report is on my desk" and would go out with Tuesday's mail. On 4/17/2018 he began asking me the names of all of the people involved - which I gave to him in the beginning of the hiring process. This leads me to believe there was no report ready and prepared and waiting to go out in the mail per his previous message. On 4/18/2018 he sent me a picture of the USPS tracking number on my envelope, and that it was going out in that day's mail. When I received the report, I sobbed. The report in and of itself was made up of three pieces of flimsy, cheap paper. The first page was barely half a page long and was Mr. Spar's report; it contained erroneous information (which I had just given him the CORRECT information before he had even written the report - not to mention had giving him all of the information about all parties involved in writing before we even began). The next two pages were extremely poor quality print outs of screenshots from an iPhone. When he'd told me that he'd recovered some things from his iCloud and would send me a flash drive (see above), he was lying. He did not deliver me the product promised. When I expressed my discontent to Mr. Spar personally, he apologized and said he could re-do the report. I asked him for at least a partial refund because of his losing all of my pictures, videos, and data, because of his continual lateness in replies (he is/was constantly "swamped" or "very busy" and needed to get back to me "later"). I doubt he used up the entirety of my retainer. I believe he took advantage of me because I was a worried mother living three states away from her child and therefore could not check up on him while he did his work. By 5/2/2018, I still had not received a new report, nor flashdrive, and received no response from him. On 5/29/2018, I reminded him how long it had been since my last message and hoped for a reply. By 6/21/2018 , I still had heard no response from Mr. Spar pertaining to my re-done report, a refund, or anything. This is approximately 50 days since the last time we had contact in April. On 9/11/2018 I was FINALLY able to get a reply from him by going to the Virginia Court Services website and using their chat option. Once again Mr. Spar cited that he was "swamped" and not in town, among other excuses. This is unacceptable business practice - not only that, this man holds a license with the Department of Justice. DO NOT LET him target you! Do not trust his words, equipment, or staff! Do not let this happen to you!
