After reviewing.my needs with a handful of providers with good reviews, I chose Settler because my conversation with Nelson inspired confidence. As expected, I was pleased with all aspects of the process. What I did not expect, however, was that I would receive products and service that exceeded my lofty expectations at an extremely competitive price. Nelson was transparent throughout the process and helped me select high-quality equipment that met my specific needs while staying within my budget. I was also surprised by the level of operational support provided. Nelson showed me how to use all of the features, but he also set up a number of parameters in advance based on our original discussion without requiring further input. And that support did not stop once the products were installed and the final invoice issued. I am still receiving support on a regular basis. Anytime I have questions, answers are a quick phone call away. Finally, due to my own oversight, my were entirely unreasonable. Nevertheless, met them, and then some, installing my entire less than 48 hours after our initial conversation. I called them and they told me less than $300 for this simple job. Made a 3 o'clock appointment but a guy shows up at 1 o'clock which was fine since we were on the way home. He says he needs to go buy parts at HomeDepot when he should've came prepared. Comes back two hours later! Install takes less than an hour. Makes a mess and doesn't even clean up. He then tells me he needs to come back next day to change out the wire since it wasn't the right one which makes me nervous. He then comes back next day an hour late to switch out the wire. Kicker is the bill is $370 ($270 labor + $80 parts + $20 tax). I ask for $75 off from coupon but he says it's included. What!?!?!? Don't be tempted to call anyone from ValPak coupons and DO NOT call them as they're not honest not trustworthy.

Vivint is using a fraudulent method to charge its customers without their approval. The company made three separate charges to my account in one day without my permission. I reached back out to the company to resolve this issue by asking for a refund, and I was told the transaction is legal on their system and they wouldn't refund me, even though I was not aware of the charge, and I do not have auto pay setup. I asked to cancel my service when they wouldn't resolve my complain, they ran me around a loop of five different customer service agents and refused to cancel my service. What law permits a business operation like this? My next move will be a law suit against Vivint, as no business should be allowed to deep their hands in a customer's account, without the customers permission.

I reached out to them and spoke directly to the Owner Andrew; we made an appointment at my convenience a few weeks in advance when I was scheduled to be in town. Andrew stopped by a few days before I arrived to assess the property and already had a plan in place for the best camera locations. I was amazed with what he was going to do and all the latest cameras and all other needed equipment. We agreed on a price. He scheduled me in when I was in town and got all the work done. Andrew gave me an and my wife a tutorial on how everything works. Got us up and running in no time at all. His company will also be monitoring our home.
