The Review:
The elevator doesn't work and can't remove large items so forced to keep paying for storage unit
Comment from the Business: This tenant removed most of her items from her unit, but left large items claiming she cannot move them, However, when she was here removing items, there were several people helping her; she was not alone. It is my view that she simply abandoned those items, but once again, using the elevator as an excuse. The elevator is a courtesy and is not included in her signed lease. However, her lease does mandate that ALL items be removed upon vacating.

The elevator doesn't work and can't remove large items so forced to keep paying for the storage unit.
I had one person helping me move items one day and I had to pay him for his help. Most of the items in my unit I moved out by myself. The items I left are too heavy for me to lift. I was in a car accident in August and my back was injured. The items are too heavy for me to lift The dresser belonged to my grandmother and it means a lot to me, I just don't know how to remove it without someone getting hurt. I have rented this unit for going on three years and have always paid with no question except for the time your company charged my bank account twice in one month and I had to dispute the second change to my account with the credit union, that is why I started paying with cash, When I asked the manager once about moving our thing out she stated that she knew a way to use the elevator to get things out safely is this still an option? When I ask people about moving those heavy things down a flight they say there are safety issues involved. I will remove my things when I find help. You're still renting units on the second floor and not telling people up front that the elevator is not working they find out when they come in to pay. Everyone who rented a unit on the second floor deserves a refund. This company should fix the elevator and be upfront with customers and tell them the elevator is broken indefinitely and that the elevator is just a courtesy and they will have to walk their items upstairs if they rent a unit on the second floor. And include an elevator as a courtesy on the website and in the contract. The manager never saw several people helping she saw one person helping me and another person who also rented a unit on the second floor trying to figure out how she was going to move her stuff out I will be moving my stuff as soon as I get help, I have found a store that gives excellent service and it is thirty-five dollars cheaper.

The manager of this company lied to the BBB and said I had several people helping me move items out of my storage unit and used the broken elevator as an excuse to abandon the heavy items left in the storage unit. There was one person helping me. View the camera recording for that day the cameras will show only one person helping me. I don't know why she lied about something that can be proven untrue. If you look at the video for the past month of November you will see that I moved most of my items from my unit by myself and twice I had one person to help me, there isn't even a dolly to move items from the storage unit to the stairs. They said the elevator is just a courtesy so I guess the dolly is just a courtesy as well. There are too many storage facilities out there for anyone to subject themselves to these low standards. Fix your elevator!!!!! Customer Reviews read more
