SMALL but mighty and fun. Beware the F word if you're sensitive. One of many cute things in Plymouth, MA.

Nice weather, weekend day: Felt like a block party! Cute and super small plus a small patio. No parking on as it was a beautiful Father's day in Plymouth. The parking lot was used for a BBQ food truck and games for adults (and kids?) Thanks for that! The kids had a blast playing with an array of outdoor games. Very limited patio tables/seats. All were full- place was jamming. People were spread out everywhere! I did my research ahead of time so I brought in food from a local restaurant and we grabbed a table (aka barrel) and ate on the fly (the barrel wasn't big enough for our group of 5.) We would have stayed longer BUT no seats and the sun was beating on us. If you read my reviews- you know I don't really do beer but I was so thirsty and my water wasn't cutting it. I saw a hard fruit punch on the menu and asked my husband to order me one. It was cold, refreshing, flavorful and the flavor outweighed the taste of liquor. Super win in my book!

Such a small off the beaten path local brewery that I recommend you find. It was actually really hopping, with many people coming and going. The crowd was very eclectic and friendly. Bar maid was attentive but not overpowering. We didn't get food, because we didn't need any, but they had a fresh oyster food truck right outside and tons of people got them

Very small. Nice atmosphere. Decent list to choose from. Had a food truck which was nice! Outside definitely needs more seating!

This place was incredible. Loved their beer and chill vibes. An amazing place to hang on a summer afternoon. Good service and high caliber beer.

All the education about America's beginnings in Plymouth made us thirsty so we stopped by Second Wind Brewing for some relief. The taproom is bar service, so order up and take your beers into the beer garden to enjoy! My husband ordered a couple of their hazy IPAs and I tried both electrolyte infused sours- a pink lemonade and "ecto-cooler". It was like drinking Gatorade or Powerade. A unique experience and now am intrigued by this idea of having electrolytes in my beer. Hope they distribute to Hawaii someday!

Second Wind Brewing is the coolest hole in the wall brewery I've been to! When we walked in the two bartenders greeted us and asked what we wanted. I had never been before and was recommended the Hard Sherly Temple Soda. It was amazing! I always loved Sherly temples as a kid but this hard soda was incredible! I also tried an Apple Pie Sour which Second Wind partnered with a local cider mill to create it. They also serve pretzels for a snack and have an art filled patio to hangout outside. I can't wait to visit this spot again!

Great beers coming out of a small back-alley brewery. You could easily pass this place and have no idea it was there. The outdoor seating area is pretty small (covid) but they text you once your table is ready and the whole process was really well organized. I do wish they had some of the echto cooler in cans while I was there as I would have loved to bring some home for my friends to try. Everything we had was great, including the pretzel and hot dog! Great little spot!

Witbeir, Cream Ale, Imperial, Coconut heaven in a cute little cupcake tray w/ complimentary pretzels for this flight.

Untold Brewing is a craft brewery that opened in Scituate, Massachusetts in October 2017. It was…read morefounded by business partners Matt Elder, Kyle Hansen and Kristen Greene. Elder and Hansen were both avid homebrewers and met after they were both simultaneously hired to work for Georgetown Brewing in Seattle. Elder, originally from the East Coast, planned to return there to start his own brewery. Hansen decided to join him on the move and the business venture. Greene, a longtime craft beer lover who had worked for Google, also decided to come on board as a partner. They built a 5,000-sq-ft production facility in Scituate to house their brewing system. It was built next to a historic 19th century schoolhouse, which they repurposed as their taproom. The name "Untold" was inspired by the Maya Angelou quote, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." The brewery soon became notable for their West Coast-style IPAs, Hazy IPAs, and clean lagers. Hansen and Greene later stepped down from the brewery to pursue new projects. A secondary location opened at the Derby Street Shops in Hingham in November 2022, but closed in March 2024. An even larger secondary location opened at the Harborwalk Development at Cordage Park in Plymouth in February 2024. I recently visited Untold Brewing's Plymouth location while I was in town for the day. I was scheduled to meet up with some other beer bloggers; it was actually my first visit to Plymouth. I soon realized that Plymouth has an excellent craft beer scene. Untold's taproom is spacious and inviting. They had a dozen beers on tap that day. Throughout my visit, I enjoyed pours of "Sunny Sea", "Island Kingdom", and "New England Golf Trip": all Hazy IPAs. I really enjoyed all three, which were refreshing and juicy with nice fruity notes. I paired them with a wood-fired pizza I ordered from a mobile pizza oven that was there that day. Overall, I had a great experience at Untold Brewing and I would love to visit their original Scituate location in the future!

Parking is very tricky with about ten spots in front of brewery. Also town beach paid parking right next door. The place was bustling on both floors. The brewery provides indoor & outdoor seating but inside was very tight on a rainy day. Standing room only for many patrons. Full selection of Tree House beers and canned cocktails. The brewery is right on the beach, so you have stunning oceanfront views from basically every seat. There's a bunch of outdoor seating (which is kind of shaded, but was still sooo hot in July), a really cool tap room upstairs, and one of the best brewery merch stores I've seen on the ground floor. We visited on 4th of July weekend, so the minimal parking next the brewery was totally full. Luckily, there's an overflow lot with a shuttle van about 5 minutes down the road. It was pretty tricky to find however, so be sure to ask the staff in the on-site parking lot for specific directions if you need to get there. They serve all the same great beer you expect from Tree House, plus they have a nice little cocktail bar outside, so there's something for everyone. I really liked the Cape Hound and the Rum Punch. They also have great pizzas and lobster rolls, which are a bit pricey but worth the splurge in my opinion. You can also pick up cans to go here, and because Tree House doesn't distribute otherwise, that's a huge win for any locals in the area. Great spot to visit on your trip to Cape Cod. We'll be back!
