My cleaning was a 2pm The day of the cleaning I received a phone message at 11:58am that the cleaning crew would be 30 minutes late as they were short staffed. I called them at 2pm and asked if they were still going to come at 2:30. They responded they were short staffed and would be here closer to 3 pm. I called at 3pm and asked if they were on target to come clean my house soon. Again, I was told they were short staffed and they were "on their way now" and would be there a little after 4pm. At 5:30 pm I received a call but missed it because I was upstairs cleaning a bathroom myself. At 6 pm I called the company again and was told they had a horrible day because of being short staffed and were just trying to take care of their clients. I thought I was a client. They stated the crew "was just down the street and would be there shortly". I responded by telling them they were fired. I spent the rest of the evening cleaning my house for my guests the next day at great pain to my shoulder. I understand things happen. I am sorry they were short staffed. I tried to be accommodating. But they didn't bother to call me for over 5 hours with a status update. And the status updates I got when I called were promises they didn't intent to keep. That is unforgiveable and unprofessional. They should have kept me in constant update mode so we could have made adjustments (next day? etc) but no....I felt they were just blowing me off. To add insult to injury. My husband and I had paid tickets to an event that night. Because of their lack of updates and no phone calls until too late, I had to cancel my attendance at great cost to me and my husband went alone while I cleaned my house. They had been responsive and apologietic when that happened, so I kept being willing to give them another chance. This last experience was the last straw. After their last cleaning I found multiple sets of dirty sheets balled up and shoved into the linen closet. It is clear to me that they hadn't been actually washing sheets but cycling between sets of dirty sheets. We use our house as a second home and do not rent it to vacationers, so I can't even imagine what they do for clients who aren't there to check the quality. Additionally, during this same last visit, they were supposed to have cleaned the oven (which they charge extra for) and they didn't do it. I reached out to them directly when I discovered this and did not get a response. We obviously won't be using them anymore, but everyone should be aware that they need to do serious quality checks on this team.
