Let's stop saying that the money you pay for these is too much or too little and instead look to what your purchase does: it funds the Fisher Hospice Home. This isn't your typical 'store,' and would be more fair to call it a non-profit venture. Volunteers maintain the store floor, swap out goods seasonally, review donations, and they all work as volunteers, for gratuity alone. The love they spend on what visitors might like is obvious, from their childrens' toy section, to their miniature library, to the household goods section. The space is maintained, full of light, and is accessible. What might challenge you is that what you find here is going to be more personal to you, instead of some wide class you happen to be a part of. That is what happens when you merchandise in timeless necessities--you would just as likely find a selfie stick here as you might find typewriter paper. What you leave with is actually liberating: there's no tracker of your behavior as a consumer, there's no brand loyalty that you're analyzed for, you're just a local shopper. Perhaps that's why the Fisher Home Hospice Shop feels like any internationally savvy visitor would visit, because what strikes you might be as surprising as any other bargain reseller, like Marshalls or TJ Maxx. Here, it's local, it's for a cause, and it's open to the public. I needed a dress, and while I could've gotten something at marshalls or burlington, I wanted something well made that didn't look cheap. Something unique, and I found what I wanted here. Good quality fabric, well made womens attire that looked great and got me compliments. The best part of it was that they had a sale section that made my shopping experience very affordable so I walked out of there with two dresses! Staff was helpful, and I know this is going to be a place I shop at every time I visit.

Their website describes their inventory as "career and casual fashions and accessories, dozens of gowns and cocktail dresses." My wife is in the market for a specific dress for a Black and Gold banquet during the summer, so we stopped here today to check out their inventory racks, and there sure were a lot of them. Shoes, boots, dresses, tops, scarves, handbags, furs, hats, and a few home furnishings were everywhere, and they all looked to be in excellent condition. We didn't find what we were looking for, but we sure enjoyed checking out their stock.

It was wonderful stopping into this long standing children's store. I shopped here for both my girls between 25-29 years ago, now I'm back showing my daughter whom is pregnant. It was so neat for me having memories of being pregnant myself, and then toting my young ones into the store. We found great deals with Carter & Osh Kosh brands especially. Purchased a lovely blanket and crib pads. We will definitely be heading back. I also want to add that the employee, Theresa, was WONDERFULLY kind, personable and pleasant. she probably also worked there when I used to shop. A long time employee like this is a treasure indeed. I'm so glad that the store has stayed the way it was years ago, seeing the colorful hand printed poster sales posted on the board and walking through the old factory that hasn't changed in, well forever, is a delight knowing some things may change but they stand true in what matters. The location is great for parking, located in an old mill with lots of parking. But; being an old building, there's no ramp for wheelchairs or strollers and it IS a 'children's store'. Walking in you can definitely feel overwhelmed with the sheer amount of things in the place. The place is SUPPOSED to be a outlet store. There is no great deal like many outlets have. The "sale prices" are subpar, and it adds up really quickly. Honestly would give it 3 Stars, but the inventory amount bumps it up one more.
