I really wanted to give them a higher rating, but the lack of professionalism is too much to overlook. I signed up with them in June of 2020 and just finished my 8 month contract with them. My credit score didn't have much of a change due to them, but mainly due to me paying off my debt. Negative items are still there, I know there is no guarantee that can be removed but I don't feel much effort was put forth by them, only because of my encounters with them. Every time I would call for updates or to discuss my situation I was always told I would receive a call back, yet no call back was ever received. Also I was told a bunch of times they were to busy and to call back. A month after my contract ended another charge from them came thru and when I contacted them to resolve the issue of this unauthorized charge, I was told I would receive a call back.....which of course I did not. I called them back to get this resolved and when I called I was on hold, someone finally came to the phone telling me something that had nothing to do with what I was calling about. (They thought I was calling about my results for disputes, why....I have no clue I made it clear I was calling about the charge) They did promise to refund the unauthorized charge and for that the two star rating was given. I wanted to give 1 star just in general for all of this headache. I had high expectations considering I was paying $100 a month for them and was left with nothing but disappointment. I'm fairly new to this program, paid the money to start my credit repair. I am working with Laura regarding my credit and she seems very nice. I just feel like I am doing all the homework at this point. As a paying customer you want to know things are moving and getting done. I had to pull my credit and do some homework myself. I went down to the very details staying up late, to come and find out my birth year was wrong on my reports, something I noticed right away and should have caught that years ago. Now I'm wondering what else is wrong on my credit reports? Maybe it's the management but very few follow ups from this company. The only thing I get told when I call to see if my credit repair is being worked on is, "send us copies of your reports every time they come in the mail." I know I have to put in my part of the work, however, isn't that their job and that's why I am paying? Second chance financial already ran my credit and they have seen what can be disputed, removed, and challenge any derogatory remarks on my credit report. I've read a lot of good reviews, also a lot of regretful customers. I'm really hesitant about continuing my business here and I will continue updates here to see if my credit rises or this becomes a headache.
