Credit can be intimidating, and I often neglected it for that very reason. However, when I connected with Karen, she was incredibly patient and informative. What stood out the most was that they were not pushy at all. I've noticed significant improvements since I started working with them, and they genuinely care about your well-being. I've recommended Second Chance to friends and family who also felt uneasy or stuck. If you're in a similar situation, take a moment to call them. It's worth it! Thank you, Karen, Wayne, and the entire Second Chance team. You're making a positive impact in more ways than you can imagine. read more

I used the company twice to fix my credit and my score very good. I like there work. I definitely recommend them.

Annoying harassing company, they keep calling and leaving voicemails everyday even though I declined

These folks are amazing. They helped us get our credit score up from the mid 400s to the high 600s. Once we got our scores up, we were able to purchase our home. Since then we have refinanced and eliminated all of our debt. If it was not for their guidance, we would not be living in our four bedroom house in Huntington Beach. Thank you for everything you have done for us. read more

When my husband and I were going to buy a house, we submitted an application for a mortgage and were surprised to see many errors on his credit report. There was a defaulted loan (for a car he never owned) and even report of overdue child support (for a child he never had). We had absolutely no idea where to begin to correct these errors. We found Second Chance Financial on Yelp and we spoke with a very reassuring professional who walked us through the entire process of correcting his credit report. Second chance financial helped us remove ALL the false items on my husband's credit report and his score skyrocketed. It was such a relief to have professionals who knew exactly what to do when we felt overwhelmed. read more

speaking with the owner and him reassuring me they had completed what they had promised

Don't know where they get all these 5 star reviews from , scam for sure . Been a year nothing happened to my credit score no update nothing . I called in for credit report was told it was going to send to me guess what nothing came in .. I will cancel the service and dispute all my charges ! I'm so disappointed! When I first joined Karen called me so many times and after couple months no update . Supposedly you pay monthly service and you have to follow up with your own credit history that's how it works . Do not waste your money it's just another company wants to make $ off subscription. read more

I really wanted to give them a higher rating, but the lack of professionalism is too much to overlook. I signed up with them in June of 2020 and just finished my 8 month contract with them. My credit score didn't have much of a change due to them, but mainly due to me paying off my debt. Negative items are still there, I know there is no guarantee that can be removed but I don't feel much effort was put forth by them, only because of my encounters with them. Every time I would call for updates or to discuss my situation I was always told I would receive a call back, yet no call back was ever received. Also I was told a bunch of times they were to busy and to call back. A month after my contract ended another charge from them came thru and when I contacted them to resolve the issue of this unauthorized charge, I was told I would receive a call back.....which of course I did not. I called them back to get this resolved and when I called I was on hold, someone finally came to the phone telling me something that had nothing to do with what I was calling about. (They thought I was calling about my results for disputes, why....I have no clue I made it clear I was calling about the charge) They did promise to refund the unauthorized charge and for that the two star rating was given. I wanted to give 1 star just in general for all of this headache. I had high expectations considering I was paying $100 a month for them and was left with nothing but disappointment. Again just my experience. read more

Ok, most of us have experienced life changing events that impact our credit in very negative ways. So much so that we give up on returning to a good credit score. My friend Tim (customer of Wayne) constantly told me about Wayne over and over and over. I finally contacted Wayne to inquire about restoring my credit rating. Even though I felt totally defeated and thought it would be a waste of time. Wayne assured me that he could help. HE DID within a short 3-9 months my score rose to 749. I have been sending Wayne customers every since, knowing that Wayne and his staff will be HONEST AND TRUTHFUL while providing you manageable expectation. Thank you WAYNE and Staff. I've been working with Second Change Financial for well over 5 years and it was single handedly one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm fairly new to this program, paid the money to start my credit repair. I am working with Laura regarding my credit and she seems very nice. I just feel like I am doing all the homework at this point. As a paying customer you want to know things are moving and getting done. I had to pull my credit and do some homework myself. I went down to the very details staying up late, to come and find out my birth year was wrong on my reports, something I noticed right away and should have caught that years ago. Now I'm wondering what else is wrong on my credit reports? Maybe it's the management but very few follow ups from this company. The only thing I get told when I call to see if my credit repair is being worked on is, "send us copies of your reports every time they come in the mail." I know I have to put in my part of the work, however, isn't that their job and that's why I am paying? Second chance financial already ran my credit and they have seen what can be disputed, removed, and challenge any derogatory remarks on my credit report. I've read a lot of good reviews, also a lot of regretful customers. I'm really hesitant about continuing my business here and I will continue updates here to see if my credit rises or this becomes a headache. I will be on top of it especially for the money I am paying to Second Chance Financial. read more

I worked directly with Wayne on improving my credit before buying my home. Wayne and his team are EXTREMELY professional, courteous, and exceptionally knowledgeable in their field. I don't wish to provide personal details, but I will say that any concerns and inaccuracies I had on all three reports were promptly address AND resolved! I had tried on my own to resolve these discrepancies, and when I was unsuccessful, I hired another firm to help. They were very nice people, however weren't successful. Wayne and his team delivered when myself, or others could not. Thank you, guys! read more
