However, the UBC MS clinic has been sending reports to this office for years... but no one told me that I was not a patient there any longer. Imagine my surprise when I was repeatedly told by the receptionist that " you are not a patient here and you better find yourself a GP, I learned this when I called needing a referral for a test booked at UBC hospital. If I am not a patient do they get paid to keep my records? Why would they keep accepting reports from a neurologist for a patient with a disease that was no longer their client. This inattention to detail concerns me and it should concern you too. Perhaps it is best that I am no longer under their care. Name with held for fear of discrimination for speaking the truth

RE: Image Optical Woodgrove Mall Nanaimo BC Having bought…read moreone pair of glasses ($400.+) I had to go back because no one there had checked the appropriateness of the prescription for the reading part. Corrected with only a little pushing necessary. Later, I got another pair that will not sit squarely on the face, They are 'superflex' frames and go askew easily, constantly, making reading difficult and nauseating. As well, the bottom frame of the glasses do not fit in the channel of the frame making the glare from the bottom of the lenses brilliant at the bottom of my vision. When I returned to the store I basically got the brush off and there is nothing they can do beyond an adjustment to the ear pieces that does not fix anything. I have taken a felt marker to darken the edge of the exposed lenses at bottom so they don't glare into the eyes. That works though it looks off and if anyone asks I am happy to tell them where I got these substandard glasses. What is the point of having anti glare and transition applied at great expense only to be defeated by glare from the bottom of the lenses??? $400.00 buys a lot of bad advertising.

When we arrived in the evening for our workshop, Susan quickly welcomed us in. Her immediate friendliness put us both at ease, and she was very receptive and positive as we discussed both of our needs and what we were looking to get out of the workshop. The workshop was over two hours, so we never felt rushed. Both my partner and I asked lots of questions, and Susan's answers were always informative and insightful. In general, Susan would first show us how to massage a body part, and then, she gave us an opportunity to practice the technique with her guidance, which I found to be very effective for our learning. Due to the length of the workshop, I also greatly appreciated that Susan provided water and snacks. I also want to note that I found the facilities to be very clean, and Susan was accommodating about changing the temperature of the room to improve our comfort. After the workshop, both my partner and I felt more connected. The workshop gave us space away from our busy lives to slowdown and show our appreciation for each other, giving us a chance to convey our love in a way that can often be lost in everyday life. Overall, I would say that this workshop at White Silk Wellness was a highlight of my trip, and we would love to come back to take the workshop again or try out some of Susan's other services. We highly recommend White Silk Wellness to anyone looking for an activity to do with their partner when visiting the Sunshine Coast.
