We come here to get meats (a lot of which are from Pemberton) and they are marinated in fun sauces so all you have to do is pop whatever it is you got into the oven. I also love their salmon cuts, they are so fresh, deboned and they don't have that nasty skin on them. I'll have to address Jacob L.'s review and say that I come here 2-3 times a month and have never had bad veggies or find the shelves empty. I must be lucky? Their produce section is awesome, I drive down here to get real bean sprouts and they have cute kits to make things like tom yum soup. Their salads and cut fruit are also great time savers and I've never had overripe or rotten pieces in what I've purchased. But I will say there are double sections of things that don't make sense. I am not sure if this is on purpose or if one aisle is organic, special etc. For example there are two tea and coffee sections. One is by the freezers the other is to the left of the store when you walk in. Why is this? I have no idea but their tea selection from their own brand is amazballs and I always stock up on at least 5 types of chai tea and whatever else is in season a the moment. The other Independent store in Whistler isn't as large and they frequently run out of the teas this store carries. The bakery is spot on awesome, we get our cakes from this location (they have more options than the one in Whistler) and they carry loads of different types of massive bags of naan. Their pre-made food section is also pretty impressive. If I were a tourist heading up to Whistler, stop here and get something! Their flat beads, pizzas, spicy wings, pastas, ready to pop in the oven lasagna, quiches, and stuffed peppers are all so good. They also have awesome Indian food, that Chicken Vindaloo they serve is pretty legit. Whistler is expensive for dinning, if you are in a vacation time share unit or know that you have a kitchen in your room, stock up here. #Squamish

The first thing that I noticed was that many of their produce was very large...larger than normal! It was very interesting. I also noticed that many of their meats were free ranged. I liked that they are health conscious. I purchased some groceries from here, but also was able to get maple cookies for friends and ketchup chips. This store has just about everything that you could think of. They even had a fresh bakery section and even a deli. The lines were rather long with a lot of people shopping however it went by really quickly. They ask if you need bags, but they prefer that you bring in your own reusable bag. Overall great grocery store to visit!

Its always great to see that our society still has positive actions during difficult times!!…read more As we found out from visiting this London Drugs, there is a section within the store that carries and highlight products from local small retail outlets that is forced to close down due to the Covid-19 Lockdown, the aim here is to help these stores have a little bit of exposure even though there stores are closed. I also found there are more local made products within the store so as to support local producers, yes, the price maybe a bit higher then national brands, but if we all chip in and help buy local, we are helping our society to recover faster! I hope my thinking is right?! Btw, staffs here are all very helpful and kind too!

I, unfortunately, use a lot of prescription drugs and finally just had to give up and move to a local ph. One mistake after another and they would tell me they would call when they got it fixed. When I didn't get the call they seemed to have no record of my call and it all had to start over from the beginning. And ordering something in that isn't on the shelf like an electronic or household item. Never got a call back. The last straw: I lost an ear bud. They asked me to leave the airpod case there, took down my information. Ten days later I get a call: "We have your airpods here." Me: Great, I'll come get them. LD: It's missing an airbud. Me: Yes, that's why I brought it in. LD: Do you want a new one? Like, why else would I bring it in? Did I need the tech to take 10 days to confirm that one air pod is missing? It took over two weeks to get a part that probably could have arrived the next day. And the computer system must have been new in 1980. To get anything done the workers need to write a short story into the computer. I've lodged complaints and watched the managers eyes glaze over. Nothing was repeated back to me and I'm certain nothing was written.

They have some middle range skin care, but that's not really what the main draw is here. The main draw would be the pharmacy. The staff speak Mandarin and English, not sure about French. Prices are only slightly higher than larger drug stores. I paid $18 for a bottle of 30 Advil Sinus & Cold Tabs. Seemed just a couple bucks more than usual. A life saver today when my daughter got a sinus headache... 14/30
