I, unfortunately, use a lot of prescription drugs and finally just had to give up and move to a local ph. One mistake after another and they would tell me they would call when they got it fixed. When I didn't get the call they seemed to have no record of my call and it all had to start over from the beginning. And ordering something in that isn't on the shelf like an electronic or household item. Never got a call back. The last straw: I lost an ear bud. They asked me to leave the airpod case there, took down my information. Ten days later I get a call: "We have your airpods here." Me: Great, I'll come get them. LD: It's missing an airbud. Me: Yes, that's why I brought it in. LD: Do you want a new one? Like, why else would I bring it in? Did I need the tech to take 10 days to confirm that one air pod is missing? It took over two weeks to get a part that probably could have arrived the next day. And the computer system must have been new in 1980. To get anything done the workers need to write a short story into the computer. I've lodged complaints and watched the managers eyes glaze over. Nothing was repeated back to me and I'm certain nothing was written.

I also found there are more local made products within the store so as to support local producers, yes, the price maybe a bit higher then national brands, but if we all chip in and help buy local, we are helping our society to recover faster! I hope my thinking is right?! Btw, staffs here are all very helpful and kind too!

Came in today (second visit ever) with a doctor recommended dual wrist brace recommendation. After…read morewalking around the very back aisles nearest to the pharmacy, I went over and waited by the Persciption drop off area. A pharmacist "Shamin" came over to ask if I needed anything. I asked about wrist braces and the lovely pharmacist walked us over to the aisle in a different area (a section I completely missed). We discussed a few things then she recommended a ambidextrous wrist brace which I then was offered to try on. Small/Medium is where its at. Grabbed a second and followed Shamin, at her suggestion, back to the cash register. She offered to write up a special receipt in which to submit to insurance and then completed the transaction with me (thank you direct debit!). Somehow each was $10 off (thank you small mercies). Its amaze-balls staff like this that ALL places need.

Not only can you order on-line but they will deliver and put away the groceries too. (This was key as we didn't have a car and had a very long day of traveling). When you order, the manager Gerry calls you up to go over your order before placing it. I have to say the interactions with Gerry were the best part and one of the favorite parts out our trip. (There is a reason that when I mentioned his name to the rental company they said "Gerry is the best!"). Not only was Gerry super kind and fun to talk to, he made great suggestions on things to get and ideas for what we were missing. (Gotta make sure we had ketchup chips and the Maple Creme cookies were awesome!). They even did a second order for us when we ran out of cookies and milk! When we got to the condo not only were all of the groceries there waiting and put away they even had a birthday card for me. On top of that, Gerry left a special delicious treat for me to help me celebrate! The interactions with Nesters and Gerry were so great (and I talked about them so much) that my kids asked "Was that the food that Gerry got you?". He's now a legend in Cambridge, MA too. Nesters was tremendous, the service was awesome and if you are lucky enough to have an interaction with Gerry. you'll understand why everybody raves about him. It's like having an amplifier that goes to 11. Can't recommend Nesters enough.

There was also a young man that knew exactly what the rules were for passport photos. No glasses or hats, don't smile, shoulders and up visible, store location stamp on the back of pictures. He took several pictures and had me approve the one to use. He couldn't improve my appearance but such is life! In less than 30 minutes from arrival the pictures were with me and out the door for a reasonable price. Excellent experience.

On Jan 14, 2026 I had an extremely unpleasant experience the CF Richmond Centre store in BC. I bought 2 Oral B io series toothbrushes that were on sale, paid by debit card but almost immediately, realized that I should have paid for the toothbrushes by credit card. So I went to the back of the line and when I came up to the cashier, I asked that the purchase of the 2 toothbrushes be reversed so that I could pay for them by credit card. When I explained that I had made a mistake and wanted to pay by credit card instead of debit, the cashier first told me that I would lose all Optimum points associated with the initial purchase even if I were to buy back the same items immediately. She strongly discouraged me from changing mode of payment. She highlighted the points on the receipt to emphasize that those points were a "one time only" reward and would all be lost even if I were to buy the same items again. Then when she rung up the items for a second time, she stamped "Final Sale" on the receipt. I'm at a loss to understand her actions: Why would the same items paid for by credit suddenly become a final sale. I find it to be incredibly sharp practice for your cashier to take unfair advantage of a customer's mistake particularly when the mistake was discovered almost immediately. All these transactions occurred in under 6 minutes.

I arrived late afternoon and found out that the pharmacies if you have a chronic condition and you pass the interview by from the pharmacist, they will issue a prescription and fill it. The pharmacist I spoke with was intelligent articulate and interviewed me. I satisfied the guidelines for this service. She issued me the much needed drugs and gave me some advice. It was a wonderful experience. It solved my problem in two days and I enjoyed my trip. I also did some last-minute shopping in the store and it was a great experience.
