We had breakfast at Seaview Pier and it was such a great experience. I ordered "The Hangover" with a side of shredded hashbrowns and biscuits, and everything was cooked perfectly--flavorful, hearty, and really well made. The food came out quickly, and the service was warm, kind, and very attentive. We sat outside overlooking the water, which made the meal even better. Between the great food, friendly staff, and beautiful view, this spot is definitely worth a visit for breakfast on the island.

Really down to earth folks with excellent food and service! It is unfussy and tasty with plenty of food on your plate.

They can do an alright breakfast omelet! It's probably the only place in the town open in the morning, anyway! If you hike there via the beach, be sure to bring a shirt and some sandals.

Amazing fried shrimp!! Don't let the old look of the place keep you from entering. Large portions, shrimp platter is enough for two. Tonight I dined on the back porch, having dinner by moonlight. Last visit I watched the sunset behind me leaving a glow on the water. Had the shrimp basket as the platter is just too much. Service is fast too!!

Quiet little restaurant right on the ocean. It was just my husband and I for breakfast this morning so our meal was brought to us within 5 minutes of sitting down outside. We were both surprised at how thick the bologna slice was for the breakfast sandwich. We only saw the breakfast menu but the prices were great! For $2 a person you can walk down to the end of the pier.

No frills restaurant and it had rained so we didn't get to eat outside. They have the best tasting slaw! Seafood was fresh and the employees were friendly. Would recommend!

BBQ with baked potato and onion rings. Shrimp with onion rings and coleslaw.

Definitely a hole in the wall, but that's what attracted me to this place. So good. Yes, it's greasy food and low-key a blue collar type restaurant. But the best restaurants sometimes are. Workers are super friendly. Food is sooo fresh. All the seafood is crazy good. The bbq in insanely good. Apparently their breakfast is killer and I'll definitely be back for it. This is gonna be a place I visit on my yearly trip here.

Huge onion rings, corn nuggets, fried clam, and hush puppies!

This restaurant is located upstairs from the tackle/gift shop next to the Seaview Motel. It's not fancy, but it's delicious! You order at the counter and sit at one of their booths. The food is served on paper plates that are piled up high! I had the clam strips with corn nuggets (OMG -delicious!!!), onion rings, and hush puppies. My husband had flounder, fried corn on the cob, and a baked potatoes. We were not disappointed. They have fountain drinks, bottled drinks, and a few canned beer varieties. The chocolate shake I had for dessert was the perfect ending. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Definitely check them out!

So for a fast seafood pier restaurant, this place knocks it out of the park. Fresh seafood and large tasty double hamburgers at very reasonable prices fed our family for a few lunches while grandpa was fishing w the nephews. Kids loved the smothered fries as well as the burgers. We loved the flounder sandwiches and the fried shrimp. And of course some yummy ice cream shakes.

I'm all about eating local when we travel and try to avoid chains that we can eat at while home. So I wanted to try this place out. Sigh. The restaurant is on the second floor over the bait shop so lots of steps to go up to even get there. Once inside, you are barraged with signs everywhere about what you CANT do. You CANT change clothes/bathing suits in the restrooms. You CANT bring in your own cups/containers and fill up at their soda station. (I get this one but do you really need four signs that say this?). You CANT go out on the pier out the back door unless you pay $1.00 at the register. Shower curtains serve as 'doors' in the ladies restroom. Our $3.00 breakfast sandwiches were prepared/cooked just fine and since we were staying only a mile away they hit the spot but I don't think I could recommend this place otherwise.

It's not fine dining, but that's not the point. We rented a beach house for the week just steps away from the pier. With few restaurants nearby, options are limited, but if you go to the sea, you have to eat seafood. The Seaview Pier Restaurant is a tasty respite from a day in the sun. I've read other reviews that were negative, writing about greasy food and the decor, but I found it to be a charming beachfront hut serving fried but tasty fare. My husband tried the clam strips with fried corn (yes, fried corn) and onion rings. He enjoyed everything but the fried corn just got oily and starchy. The hush puppies that came with it were tasty too. I ordered shrimp with fried okra and onion rings. It also came with hush puppies. Everything was perfectly crisp and while it was all fried, I didn't find it to be greasy. The tartar sauce that came with it was sweet, and I prefer more of a dill flavor, but that's minor. They serve beer too, so we each ordered one--a Corona and Budweiser. The staff was super friendly and the view was nice. We ate outside, and while there were a few flies, it was pleasant. If you're on the fence about going, I encourage you to stop by. For $30, we had a nice meal and it was super close to our rental.

Deviled crab plate

We wanted to get a quick and easy meal and found Seaview on Yelp. Your order at the counter and they brought us our food. They have inside and outside eating options. The flounder was really good, and the deviled crab was excellent. Portion sizes are good and my favorite was sitting outside with the ocean view. If you're in Topsail, this is a hidden gem.

The big breakfast

Not sure about lunch/dinner options but I've been here for breakfast a good 6 or 7 times and they've never disappointed! The service is good, they're very friendly and welcoming. The bathroom situation is a little odd but that's not something I really mind. Their French toast and hash browns are my favorite!

All the cement makes it a bit loud but also hot because it soaks in the heat and radiates it back out all day. This is fine in the cooler months or if you have pool access as a guest. There is an inside dining room too but why use that when its so much nicer outside? The food was good, not great, and like most tourist areas a bit over priced for the quality. I'm not saying it wan't good because everything we tried we liked. Only it was nothing to get too excited about for the higher prices. Honestly you're paying for the view and the nice outdoor seating. Note: The closer parking lots are for condo/hotel guests only and they will tow you away. If you're just coming to the restaurant you must park across the street. When we went there was plenty of of available parking but it was a very hot day in the high 90s and high humidity so by the time I parked and walked over I was already sweaty and uncomfortable. On a normal day it would be no big deal for me, but if your with people who cannot climb a steep driveway or do a long walk then I would drop them off at the front door and then go park.

First, they stopped serving hushpuppies! WHAT. And the menu overall has changed and is just much more limited. Not many healthful options either. I ended up doing the steam pot, which was pretty good overall, but man the service was SO SLOW. The parking situation also makes no sense, it's like they don't want business unless you're staying in the hotel now, even though it wasn't very busy up there so that can't be the case. There are now signs everywhere saying you'll get towed without a Regis permit. I had parked in the main lot many times to come here, so I took a chance and asked the hostess (who was decked out in full goth gear and hair covering her entire face like a shih tzu so you couldn't tell if she was even paying attention to you) how to make sure I wouldn't be towed. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and shrugged and walked away. Very rude. Luckily, I didn't get towed, but would it be that hard for them to have a parking section marked for restaurant patrons or something?

We ordered the Topsail Punch, but it honestly just tasted like colored water--not enjoyable at all. We decided to stick with appetizers after realizing the menu was completely different (and much more limited) than what we saw online. The food itself was okay, but overall the experience just wasn't great. Definitely not a place I'd rush back to. Nice view though.
