It had great safety features like slowing down when getting too close to the other cars, alerting when getting too close to the side of the road with an ariel view on the dash, and flashing a red light on the side mirrors when a car was in a blind spot. I've been a resident of the park since Oct 2019 when I began working as a nurse in Everett and was there only part of the week so I bought a camper and moved in during the week to have a home away from home...I have a house in Whatcom County. I moved the camper recently to my house because I am leaving on maternity leave and left 2 messages asking for management to call me back confirming they received my message and inquiring about a pro-rated month. I never received a return call so I called a 3rd time and spoke with the new manager today. The new manger Amy was incredibly unprofessional and rude when I informed her that I had moved my camper out on 6/11/22 and requested a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the month that was paid in advance. Her response was that they don't give refunds. When asked if there is any paperwork that their customers are given to review or fill out that states they understand that Lakeside RV does not give refunds her answer was "no, we don't have that information anywhere". This doesn't seem legal and is clearly unprofessional. She said I could go ahead and have my attorney contact her but refused to give me her last name. I can't decide between the Better Business Bureau to help prevent future guests from getting robbed or an attorney I have yet to hire. Perhaps both.

Luck was on our side, as we were their first customers to enjoy their brand new 2021 36ft Reflection. We had a family of 5 (3 adults, 2 kids). The owners were very particular about the cleanliness, everything that went into the camper was sanitized. The owners provided us a hassle-free and stress-free experience. They supplied all the basic amenities from kitchenware, towels, vacuum, trash bags, seasonings, even shampoo/conditioner and hand sanitizers, all we had to bring were foods and clothes. Even more, they delivered the camper to the RV park, set it all up, taught me how to operate it, even refilled one of the empty propane tanks in the middle of our week-long stay. Their pricing is very competitive, for the services that they provided. We want to truly thank the owners for such a good memorable trip. Highly recommended!

Full hookups and pull through which is nice, but no shade so it can get hot at the end of summer. The other area, with full hookups is around the perimeter and is nestled in the cedar trees. Larger spaces, quieter and lots of shade. The folks running the place are very nice and everything worked well. My only recommendation is that if you plan ahead ask for an area in the trees.

Luckily you don't really hear the road noise inside the park. It sits between a mobile home park and a nice shady forest. We made the mistake of walking our two little dogs in the woods who became severely infested with fleas within 3 days so we had to call our vet back home to prescribe a flea and tick medication which luckily Costco carried. Don't take your dogs into the woods. We had the misfortune of being parked next to a chain smoking couple who sat outside their RV in a screen tent smoking one after another all day long. I could not even have my windows open due to the constant stench of cigarettes. It was awful. There are two bathrooms that you need a code to get into. These bathrooms do not get cleaned daily. The toilets are gross. I have had to carry Lysol wipes with me to clean off somebody's crusty ass remains on the seat many times. There was a spot of poo stuck to the side of the bowl that stayed there for a week so I know nobody cleans the toilets daily. The toilet seat was very loose and dangerous and I reported it along with the loose sink basin but both were still loose when we left 2 weeks later. The same filthy spot on the floor next to the toilet was still there too. The laundry room is nice so that was a good thing. If you have pets be aware that there are people that do not pick up after their dog even though there are signs around. Be careful where you step. And if you have a dog that hates cats watch out. There are at least 3 cats that roam around the park constantly trying to kill birds and squirrels. There are barking dogs that you can hear that get pretty loud whenever they hear a siren screaming by with is pretty often. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than a few days.

There is no shade, which some may enjoy due to not having to worry about large trees falling on one's rig. When it comes to the playground there needs to be some sort of shade for the kids. 2. They are wanting to install a BBQ pit area in the field near the dog park but all RV'ers travel with cooking supplies and grills and there are no Tent sites for camping tents which people who are tent camping would benefit from the BBQ area. So it makes no sense to spend money on such a thing when no one will use it. 3. A swimming pool would change this R.V. park in an instant, it would become the hit place in town and they could easily charge more $$ per night for such a thing yet it constantly gets over looked. 4. A park upgrade could also change this place, everything is broken, and it's a half a$$ put together park/playground situation. The kids are always in the creek behind the park where there is shade because the playground is lacking so much. 5. Come summertime US-2 the highway that you drive on to get to and from town is terrible, stand still traffic every single weekend. Which means you loose your weekend stuck at the RV park with no shade or fun things to do unless you want to fight the traffic. 6. There use to be a good number of full timers and weekend visitors, it is now mostly full timers. Some with nice clean organized sites, some look like a dump field. There are no set rules it seems. Hopefully you get a clean, quiet neighbor. There have been field mice problems in people's rigs and car engines. 7. Ever since they added the Gracies place food into the resort the traffic coming in for coffee and food SPEEDS into the RV park going 35+, there are kids crossing that section of the road to get to the park and I've seen many times a car get too close to a kid coming in so fast. This is NOT ok. 8. The food at Gracie's place is Sysco food, it isn't the freshest. The wait time can be insane and the customer service could be improved a bit. 9. They state 2 dogs a site only, some sites have 3+ dogs. They also state 2 cars only per site, some sites have 2+ cars. They also state no trailers at your site, some sites have trailers parked at their site. Again there is no uniform rules. 10. This park has potential, it's been tossed around in management. No real guidance, it's surviving on pure luck and due to the fact that's it's the only RV park somewhat close to Seattle that's so flexible with its rules it will allow just about anything unlike the others closer to the city.
