A form was filled out and the refractive surgery consultant put me through a few tests to make sure everything was good before explaining the different types of surgery, the procedure, what happens the day of. Next they can book the appointment for you or you can call the downtown location yourself. I felt taken care of and there's a lifetime commitment for distance vision for all their laser surgery patients, if there is a need for an additional procedure.

There is also an area for the little kids to play with. Since it has been a while I had an eye exam, I was very nervous about what was going to happen but Dr. Charlene To put me at ease. Very professional and pleasant . I never felt rushed and she answered all my questions and concerns. The flap is more risky for that. The staff was awesome, and helpful. The only thing I wish they had improved upon was informing me how painful PRK is. For three days, it really hurt. No....REALLY. I'm still glad I got it done and please know that my experience is DIFFERENT from the typical lasik experience. I got a different kind of surgery.
