It certainly lived up to my memories, expectations and more. The seafood buffet steals the show every Friday and Saturday night. With endless supply of oysters, massels, bugs, salmon, prawns, and more any seafood foodie will not be disappointed or leave hungry. For non seafood loves there is plenty on offer with a two hot bars, salads bar, cheese bar, soup bar, fruit bar, kids bar, drinks bar, and finally a dessert bar and ice-cream bar. Pricey but worth it. Get there before 7:30pm to avoid an hour wait. Can't wait to go again.

We arrived and there was still a line out the door if the fish market at 4:00PM. They shut down the kitchen at 7:00PM. Remember this is a fish market. They had added many more picnic benches that kind of line the street and have a few at the end of the little street overlooking the water. So, you pick out your seafood, stand in line and when it's your turn you tell them how you want it cooked. We ordered a meal that consisted of 7 large fried shrimp(crumbled prawn cutlets)and order of fries and a large bottled soda. Total check was $24 AUDs....about $16US. Our number was quickly called and we retrieved our food. Sat outside and had a delightful late afternoon lunch/early dinner. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. And the fries were plentiful and nicely seasoned with salt. Both the shrimp and fries had a nice crisp. Remember this is a fish market. Service is great if you are ok standing in line for a boating to order. Staff is there willing to help Seafood is described as to type and labeled whether it is freshly caught or has been previously frozen. What more does one want. Highly recommend even though I shouldn't because the place is already always packed. Remember this is casual dining and it is simple! Enjoy!

We decided to stay and again was met with another disappointment that the dishes were either below or just average. When asked where were the lobsters etc we were told that they don't put them out on weekdays and even then it's on occasion. This should have been added to their website so folks are clear as to what they are getting. The prawns were nice but some were grainy. The oysters were super tiny. The meats that we had were the roast pork with crackling and the roast beef. Both were quite dry even with the sauce which was too salty. Also check one of the images attached. There is a bug on one of their desserts. Of the ones that didn't have any bugs were hit and miss. That aside the service was very good, very attentive. If the food was up to the same quality that would have been better. Overall quite meh. For the price I would go elsewhere.

The restaurant is located on the second floor of the QT Hotel. There is street parking as well as valet parking available. Upon entry to the restaurant I was escorted to my table while passing by the different counters of food options. The host explained how everything worked and pointed out the different areas of the buffet. It is all neatly presented and vary high quality ingredients. After showing me the table I went to get started. The very left side of the buffet has certain meat and seafood options. They have beef stew, paella, and a few more options. You can also ask the chef in this section to make you a steak any temperature you like and they will deliver it to your table. Next to the meats you have the pizza counter. At the time they had a cheese option and a potato option. I tried the cheese pizza and it was incredible! The next section has salads and sides. You can choose from mac n cheese to potato salad and lots of other choices. The last section has asian dishes such as dim sum, chicken masala and lots more. The dessert counter is behind the dinner food and has tons of selections. You can get all sorts of mini cakes, pastries, ice cream, chocolates and more. Definitely save some room for dessert! Everything is so fresh and cooked perfectly with the right sauces! The beautiful presentation, delicious food and fantastic service are why I gave this place 5 stars.

The breakfast buffet was a meagre section in a restaurant, serving sad looking sausages and eggs and churros. Churros?? How odd! We went to grab some and the owner came out and admitted that they were from yesterday. What even! Why even put them out still then! He took them away and came back with fresh ones, which were nice of him. I guess. Everything was really subpar, the coffee was a pot on a heater and the dry food were stale tasting.
