Once you've been to a buffet in Las Vegas, your life changes and all the other buffets that you go to will never live up to your standards. Well that's what happened to me. For the price ($72AUD per person), the food wasn't 100% worth the money. The food was good, not great. There were some things that were great; the potatoes and the seafood. If you want to order steak or pork belly, you inform the chef and they will deliver it to your table. The tasting plate that they had was yummy! The tasting plate is basically a sample plate; there were 3 pieces of food for us to sample. The Asian section was a disappointment. The rice was hard and the curry was mediocre. They also had a variety of desserts. The macarons weren't good. The lemon tart was too sweet. The deserts were just OKAY. One thing that I did not like about the buffet was that there were no signs. I had no idea what the food were. It was a guessing game every time I put the food onto my plate. The buffet is located in the QT Hotel. The restaurant has a high class ambiance. The waiters are very nice and very attentive to service. Oh and if you parked in the QT Hotel parking lot, you can get your parking ticket validated when you bring your receipt to the hotel front desk.

An expensive buffet, good quality options and an uber cool decor will greet you upon entry to Bazaar. I was pleasantly surprised by the vast range of offerings and the quality to boot. Each element had its on twist, with tall glass bottles for the range of juices to actual honeycomb for the honey to be extracted from. The bread and butter pudding was a cracker with texture and bags of flavour a plenty. A definite breakfast tick if you are in the area. Food 8.5/10 service 8/10 decor 8.5/10

Bazaar is amazing. This is honestly the best buffet I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The quality of the food is like a fine dining restaurant and the service was superb. A great place out for a good night and amazing feed. The starters were to die for and the dessert section had a huge range of excellent tasting desserts including macarons.

If you're looking for a boring/run of the mill place to have dinner...this place isn't for you. Bazaar had an incredible selection of gourmet buffet options that make my mouth water as I'm typing this. Will definitely be going back next time we're here.

If I could give 10 stars I would for the taste sensation that is BAZAAR BREAKFAST. I am in foodie heaven right now. So much food so little room in my tummy. There is a grill station (bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, best rosti ever just to name a few, cereal and yoghurt station, drink station (all the flavoured milks, juices, tea and coffee) fruit station and more hot section and an omelette station ( cooked in front of you with anything you want in it). If you are on the Gold Coast this is a MUST for breakfast. I could keep raving but I need to keep eating. Yum yum yum

The assortment of food is 2 die for.

Cheese Bread!…read more Sizzler has been my favourite restaurant since I was a little tyke. I love the atmosphere, the food, the cheese bread: frankly I love Sizzler in its entirety. Perhaps this bias colours my review but I honestly and sincerely believe that Sizzler is a restaurant that has something for everyone. Firstly: cheese bread! Am I crazy or is this super soft, fresh, cheesy and utterly divine bread actually the world's most delicious food? It's worth visiting just to get some of this wonderful yumminess in your mouth. Ask for as many extra servings as you like and enjoy! One of the other great things about Sizzler is that for a few dollars more than the salad bar you can get a full pub like meal as well. I opted for the Malibu beef burger and hubby had the Fishermans platter. Both were decent fare, made great with the fresh salads and pastas of the accompanying buffet. There is also a nacho/taco bar, potato skins, soups, fresh fruit and desserts to choose from to add to your stomachs delight. Food is fresh, cheap and cheerful and sure to satisfy fussy eaters (though perhaps not gourmets). If anything the decor has become more fresh and inviting than previous incarnations and the staff, as always, are friendly, swift and fantastic. The environment is very family friendly: upbeat and jovial with the wonderful background hum only found within the comfortable confines of such an unpretentious, homely place. Prices average around $35 for adults, including an attached meal and unlimited soft drinks, teas and coffees. Kids vary depending on their age. Sizzler is a true family restaurant: boasting something for all in a casual, laid back setting that is comfortable and welcoming. Come for the cheese bread, stay for a laugh, good conversation and fun times for all.

The food is solid and a typical fusion mix of a miso infused pork belly next to a roast beef sirloin with roast vegies. A laksa next to cold cuts of meat and breadrolls... maybe not so much fusion in hindsight, maybe its a bit of two worlds crossed like star crossed lovers... but with some sushi. So essentially multiple asian countries crossed with the typical aussie fair. So really the world is kissing and youre eating, gross but sweet but gross but kind of nice.. getting off topic here. Lets get this right, the food is nothing really awesome but when combined with queenslands only 360 revolving restaurant a la candlelight 26 stories above a la central gold coast broadbeach... the taste is yelping spectacular $62 later a head plus $4.50 for a glass of coke. So recommended but not really for a regular visit. Perfect for romance and walking a full stomach off by the breathtaking beach.

The main attraction being the view was mostly unseen as the lighting inside was too bright to view the night lights outside. Instead you saw your own reflection when trying to peer out. My recommendation is to go for a day or early evening seating if you want to take in the view. The dessert buffet was the best part of the evening. The worst part, the other patrons. Some patrons had been scooping the oysters from their shells at the buffet station so care had to be taken not to select an empty oyster shell. Searching through the empty oyster shell rubble we managed to find some tasty morsels to return to our table with. The crab was a disaster, stringy dry overcooked crab meat was hardly worthy of the effort involved to get to it. However, the prawns were amazing. The main buffet was a collection of over cooked salmon, tasty veal, chicken, tough chewy steak and tragically over cooked lamb cutlets. The sides were pretty boring - steamed or roasted vegetables. The dessert buffet had a great selection of sugary treats, chilli chocolate pano cotta, pavlova, doughnuts, ice cream, a broad selection of cheeses and fresh fruit to name a few. Ho ho ho hum... Not the highlight of my Christmas vacation. But it wasn't all that bad value for what fare was available.

I did remember the breakfast buffet being outstanding so we were keen to see if it was still there. Gone was the breakfast buffet and in came HRG... a Korean family owned breakfast buffet joint which also served seafood at night? I'm not sure. It was incredibly bizarre. We were looking at the shopfront when this Eastern European old lady came up to us and tried to persuade us to come in. She was a bit desperate as it was empty inside. She wasn't the most accomodating lady either, but we thought why not and stepped in. Oh boy, what a mistake. The breakfast buffet was a meagre section in a restaurant, serving sad looking sausages and eggs and churros. Churros?? How odd! We went to grab some and the owner came out and admitted that they were from yesterday. What even! Why even put them out still then! He took them away and came back with fresh ones, which were nice of him. I guess. Everything was really subpar, the coffee was a pot on a heater and the dry food were stale tasting. Aside from us, there were only one other couple who looked like they were cajoled in by the old lady as well. It was such a sad sate of affair. Maybe the seafood nights fare better? But STAY AWAY from this place for breakfast. It is weird. And not worth your money.
