I was able to enjoy dinner here recently thanks to their promotional rate during restaurant month. The dinner buffet was half price making it more than worth the experience. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the QT Hotel. There is street parking as well as valet parking available. Upon entry to the restaurant I was escorted to my table while passing by the different counters of food options. The host explained how everything worked and pointed out the different areas of the buffet. It is all neatly presented and vary high quality ingredients. After showing me the table I went to get started. The very left side of the buffet has certain meat and seafood options. They have beef stew, paella, and a few more options. You can also ask the chef in this section to make you a steak any temperature you like and they will deliver it to your table. Next to the meats you have the pizza counter. At the time they had a cheese option and a potato option. I tried the cheese pizza and it was incredible! The next section has salads and sides. You can choose from mac n cheese to potato salad and lots of other choices. The last section has asian dishes such as dim sum, chicken masala and lots more. The dessert counter is behind the dinner food and has tons of selections. You can get all sorts of mini cakes, pastries, ice cream, chocolates and more. Definitely save some room for dessert! Everything is so fresh and cooked perfectly with the right sauces! The beautiful presentation, delicious food and fantastic service are why I gave this place 5 stars. read more

Great spot on the first floor of the QT hotel. Plenty of food and oh so yummy! Being COVID style you can't serve yourself as there is clear screens up but plenty of wait staff to serve you. We went on a wed night at a later time on the 29th of dec and it wasn't too busy. Cost was $75/pp and drinks around $10 each. We mainly went for seafood. This was good but not a big range on show. Oysters, half bug, mussels and clams. No crab or octopus which would have been nice. Plenty of hot food, ham, salmon, pastas, Thai noodles, dumplings, fruit/cheese, you can order a pizza or steak to your liking and they'll bring it out to you. Desert is a good range of pretty much everything you can think of. Staff are very attentive taking away plates and emptying seafood shells ect. Would recommend coming to visit. Maybe when Covid restrictions ease as there is nothing like serving yourself :) read more

Best breakfast buffet I've ever been too: way too many options and too delicious (I normally hate buffets).. Omelette guy was nice. The egg lady was mean though: gave a white women a custom egg while she just pointed to the sunny side ups and told me, 'the eggs are over there!' (I don't do sunny side up.. so I just walked away).. They juices: tomatoe, orange, pineapple, cranberry, apple, etc.. ton of smoothie options, and different types of milk, coffee, and t2 tea bags. They have musselli, cereals, pastries, breads, fruits, and typical hearty breakfast stuff, and puddings (even with chia), and the list goes on and on.. And loads of sauces and herbs and spices.. The custom omelette was also good if you wanted to wait, doesn't take to long, just ask the man (quite informal). And you can customize it. And theres also ice cream (or soft-serve yogurt..: I didn't get to try that). TIP: It's not an automatic payment when you select the meal option with the hotel, but it will be cheaper especially if you sign up through their e-mail/ preferred rewards account system or something like that.. read more

Once you've been to a buffet in Las Vegas, your life changes and all the other buffets that you go to will never live up to your standards. Well that's what happened to me. For the price ($72AUD per person), the food wasn't 100% worth the money. The food was good, not great. There were some things that were great; the potatoes and the seafood. If you want to order steak or pork belly, you inform the chef and they will deliver it to your table. The tasting plate that they had was yummy! The tasting plate is basically a sample plate; there were 3 pieces of food for us to sample. The Asian section was a disappointment. The rice was hard and the curry was mediocre. They also had a variety of desserts. The macarons weren't good. The lemon tart was too sweet. The deserts were just OKAY. One thing that I did not like about the buffet was that there were no signs. I had no idea what the food were. It was a guessing game every time I put the food onto my plate. The buffet is located in the QT Hotel. The restaurant has a high class ambiance. The waiters are very nice and very attentive to service. An expensive buffet, good quality options and an uber cool decor will greet you upon entry to Bazaar. I was pleasantly surprised by the vast range of offerings and the quality to boot. Each element had its on twist, with tall glass bottles for the range of juices to actual honeycomb for the honey to be extracted from. We were living in QT and naturally decided to have breakfast at Bazaar. It is not very expensive- but you get a huge variety of options. It starts with a huge array of pastries, fruits, oatmeal in pots, frozen yogurt, pancakes, waffles, eggs, toasts, jams, butter, coffee, tea & soo many juices & milkshakes etc. There is a separate counter for asian breakfast. A counter where omelettes were being prepared to order. I am sure I must have missed something. It is a good place to eat after an hour in the gym & an hour in the pool! read more

An interesting idea and nice food spoilt by the worst customer service I've ever had the misfortune of encountering and cheap and uncomfortable furniture.. My partner and I went to the stingray bar at the qt hotel for a pre-dinner cocktail; we were told it was the place to be and although quiet (public holiday Monday night) service was friendly and drinks were good.. We did order food from the bar but the barman told us the restaurant upstairs was "the best on the Gold Coast" so we asked if we could cancel our food order and try the restaurant; which was all arranged by the barman. Upon arrival at the top of the stairs a woman rudely asked if we had a reservation. I tried to explain that we had just been sent up from downstairs but she seemed to just get agitated and said she would "see what she could do" even though there were at least 12 empty, set tables in clear view of where we stood.. And then to my amazement she went around the corner and left us waiting... After 10 minutes of us standing at the front counter looking stupid we spoke to a male member of staff who took us for a tour of the buffet and seated us immediately.. Most of the food tasted okay; the braised beef cheeks bear special mention for magnificent flavour. Unfortunately the lamb shanks were dry and chewy from being left on the buffet wayyyyy too long and some of the dishes were just a few scraps of dried out whatever that needed a bin! The fresh seafood was good and the deserts to die for.. $80 for a buffet dinner puts them in the same price league as the Sofitel in Brisbane.. However, there you get white linen table cloths and comfy chairs, contrast that with Bazaar's "Coles cafeteria chic" look and I'm starting to wonder what I'm paying for... I do have to say that most of the wait staff were friendly as were the chefs you can talk to (even though one told me he was there to tell me about the food and promptly turned around and walked away without telling me anything..); unfortunately they are being badly let down by the door bitch and her appalling attitude... Had it not been pouring rain outside we would have walked straight back out... If this is the best restaurant on the Gold Coast; I'd hate to see the worst.. read more

If you are still thinking Bazaar is a 'buffet' then you are living in an unfortunate confusion. After my first Bazaar experience at Port Douglas I feel I have learnt how to tackle this restaurant without walking away in pain from over consumption. But again this property delivered the goods with Bazaar, during our stay at the QT Gold Coast I had three breakfasts and one dinner here. Breakfasts - Our first breakfast was great, a yummy selection of different foods, and the super cute juices and happy staff. Special mention for the ridiculously tasty strawberries which tasted out of this world. Also the strawberry and rhubarb jam they make from them, so so good. Some of the hot dishes suffer in the quieter mornings, I had some eggs which were either cold, or boiled eggs which had not been completely cooked. However you always have the option of getting a custom made omellete made which ensures freshness! Oh the Sunday morning there was chaos when we arrived, seemingly from two weddings the night before, and all the guests coming for breakfast. But the staff did not panic or lose service standards, they were calling out to us to apologise and kept smiling and there were no mistakes despite being completely rammed. Dinner - A standout again. Not a huge seafood eater but there was a great amount of seafood there, oysters, crab, prawns, scallops etc. The prawns were fresh and tasty. All of the other cuisines were great, some sort of pork Mexican thing which was amazing, sweet potato croquettes, salads better than I have ever tasted before! Service here was really a cut above, they were proud and attentive, the maitre'd sought us out the following night to ask about our experience and give us some other tips on what to do in the GC. They also served one of my favourite wines - Margan Semillon, at a fairly reasonable price. read more

This is the best buffet I have been too in Queensland! We stayed at QT for our honeymoon which was rather rushed and impromptu due to hubby's military commitments, so we had a lot of good times we needed to squeeze into a few days. I believe it was very shortly after the Bazaar had opened and in fact the restaurant is what lured us to QT in the first place, the description was so unique and a must try. Excuse the vagueness, it was over a year ago but every day we were at QT we had breakfast and lunch and often dinner at Bazaar, not because we like eating that much, just because its hard to walk passed food that looks that good, smells that good and that is fresh without going completely hog wild! Every way they cook an egg is perfection, their steaks are done to the second at your request, fresh seafood rests upon rocks of ice waiting for you, juicy fruit, pastries, a tantalising array of salads, I mean I could keep going and going! The food is great and I am fussy, what else do you really need to know? If you go for breakfast, there are fresh juices is wonderful combinations (green apple & celery was my favourite) as well as smoothies all there ready and waiting for you in adorable glass bottles! I can sing praises for this place forever. It's a little bit pricey sure, but you're paying for the service of chefs that know what the hell they're doing and extremely well sourced products, I think it is worth it for a night out, probably best to go with someone you won't feel is judging you while you moan at how amazingly creamy the puréed potatoes are as you gluttonously ponder another plate.. read more

Bazaar is the buffet to end all buffets. Every foodie that I've brought here has walked away delighted, amazed, and stuffed so full that waddling home is the only option. But it's not just a buffet, you also get presented with chef's tasting platters, cooked on demand steaks, freshly steamed asian dumplings... it's all a step above the other buffets on the coast. There's a massive seafood and dessert selection... trust me when I say that you won't go home hungry. The wine selection is excellent and varied, and the service is top notch. The QT bazaar is on the first floor, make sure you see the signs going up the stairs. At first glance it's extremely fancy, the waiters usher you in personally and show you around and tell you about the food and cuisines available and finally show you your table. Then they tell you they have a complimentary drink, which is fantastic if you want some bubbles. The food is extensive but not too much, there's Italian and mod australian, then it goes into Mexican and Moroccan, then transforms into seafoods and south east asian flavours, and finally terminates at the ice cream booth down the end. There's also an insane wall of dessert too. It was insanely impressive. The food was quite good but nothing to be amazed about, the western foods were significantly better than the eastern cuisines. The curries weren't really done well and the meat were all overcook. The dumplings were very sub par as well - one look st the kitchen and you'd know why - perhaps get a chef of Asian ancestry instead of white chefs? The Western foods weren't that much better. The mac and cheese were bland and the pulled pork was not tender yet. The chippies and fish fingers were good though, but that's not why you go to a fancy buffet for... Lastly the dessert. The dessert wall was probably the best part, having treats from crumble to little eton messes to tiny cakes. It was good. The ice cream booth however.... whoever the girl was who was manning the ice cream, girl you are running a happy place why are you the grumpiest person in the world? You should not be having an attitude if you work in hospitality. Tsk. Overall it was a good experience but i would not return. For that price, the food wasn't all that special. just a last note, why the hell was it so hot and stufy in there?? If I could give 10 stars I would for the taste sensation that is BAZAAR BREAKFAST. I am in foodie heaven right now. So much food so little room in my tummy. There is a grill station (bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, best rosti ever just to name a few, cereal and yoghurt station, drink station (all the flavoured milks, juices, tea and coffee) fruit station and more hot section and an omelette station ( cooked in front of you with anything you want in it). I went to Bazaar with some friends for the first time on Monday night! Firstly I would like to commend the staff for brilliant customer services and the desserts were amazing! The buffet all you can eat was great, the boys absolutely loved it for the seafood! I personally wished the dishes were labelled or one of the chefs were there to let you know what was what but otherwise it was a great night. I'm not sure if I'd ever go there again as $72 AUD is quite exy and I wouldn't agreed that the food was that amazing to be worth that kind of money. read more

Food was decent with a lot of variety, but unfortunately I got food poisoning after having its dinner buffet. There were often sand in their shrimps, so make sure you wash them properly. You can order steak during the dinner buffet, but don't count on it to be cooked the way you want. I ordered 'rare' steak but what I got was way over 'well done'. If you dine there during peak hours, be ready to wait for your server - they are a little short staffed. They do have an awesome dessert bar though! read more

Upon entering the Bazaar restaurant for the first time, you will be delighted to see the variety of food. During dinner there is something for everyone, offering a range of cuisine from meat and potatoes to asian inspired dishes. Your eyes wouldn't be disappointed! However, your tastebuds....that may be a different story. It's a shame really. The time and energy all of those chefs put into make a massive feast is worthy of praise, however there is one thing missing....flavor. Whether it was the chicken wings, baked salmon, braised beef cheeks, slow-cooked lamb shanks or freshly made pizza, I have come to realize that the Bazaar restaurant does not adequately flavour their food. I realise taste is a very subjective thing, and perhaps I have been spoiled, but this place needs some help - maybe salt for starters. Service is good-ish....sometimes. Some people working there seem to have bad attitudes, not sure why - it's not like you're visiting a fine dining restaurant who has earned the right to snobbery. We've been there a number of times and the last time we went, we were seated in a corer of the restaurant that was very isolated and seemed to be almost separate from everything (right behind the ice cream stand). Not sure why they would ever use that space for paying customers - it's just a bad idea. It seemed like we were being put in time-out. To be honest, I think the host intentionally placed us there as he had an attitude with us when we arrived. His service to us was a very poor reflection of the restaurant and if I wasn't such a nice person, I'd have given him a talking to and notified his manager of his poor attitude and spiteful behavior. Because of his lack of customer service, the restaurant has since lost repeat customers.... The table next to us saw an influx of disappointed patrons, who upon arriving to their seat asked to be seated elsewhere simply because that awkward isolated corner of the restaurant is a slap in the face to people who are paying to eat there. Mind you there was a massive step you have to climb to reach your seat, and climbing that step in heels with a plate of food isn't really what I was expecting nor easy. One of the gentlemen who makes the omelets during breakfast seems to not like people - and he is entitled to that. However, he's probably not the best person to have dealing with guests. Same goes for the lady working at the ice cream station - definitely an ice queen. If you think this place is amazing, it's probably because you were really hungry or aren't accustomed to great food. However, for Queensland, it's probably the best buffet you'll come across. As I usually say - go for it and give it a try, you may just love it. PS - their salads are good. read more

I found the decor wonderful, extremely dark though hard to see what you were eating. Not sure if it is worth the $80 each we had to pay over the Easter weekend... The staff were amazing could not fault them. I get extremely ill with lamb even the smell makes me want to be sick. The down side of this restaurant nothing was labelled the dish I got was a stir fry lamb which looked like beef. Lucky when I got back to my dark table I realised by the smell when I sat down. All food should be labelled. The biggest let down was the deserts again not labelled and uninviting. Would I go back no I don't think so. read more

This place is amazing! Everything I tried was fresh and delightful! Everything you could want from seafood, steak, pizza, dumplings, Asian fusion dishes and the most amazing salads. The Desert bar is amazing and they are all bite size so you can try a range of them easily. The staff were lovely and very helpful in choosing what wine to drink with our meal. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed but indulgent dining experience. read more

We had the dinner buffet and the food was delicious, great variety, deserts to die for, perfectly cooked steak.. i wish i could've eaten more. We were also really impressed with how friendly and helpful the chefs were. The service was unbelievable, for a buffet place your chair is pulled out, napkins are folded every time you leave the table, waitress was super friendly and lovely. A class place and highly recommended. Only feedback is, when in a group we wished the bill could've been split so we paid for what we had, but it could only be split down the middle which became awkward and slow to organise at the payment stage. read more

I dined at bazaar and had the buffet breakfast in one word I can describe it as exquisite. The bazaar restaurant in itself was extremely clean with a contemporary decor that was very easy on the eye. The service was extremely friendly and professional to the point I regretted the hotel choice and wish I stayed at qt. The food was delicious, fresh, neatly presented an the correct temperature which i have found is rare in buffet type eateries. With an array of sausage bacon eggs pastries omelette station where a chef will prepare an omelette you design yourself. The food choices are too many to mention but everything is of the highest quality and presented very conveniently so you can design the perfect continental breakfast.
