What started as a simple smart home / entertainment installation turned into a complete disaster. First, communication was poor from the beginning. It took weeks and multiple follow-ups just to get a response and schedule an appointment. When the technician arrived, things quickly went downhill. During the installation process, my media console was scratched and chipped after equipment and devices were carelessly moved around and placed directly on the surface. I documented the damage with photos. Even worse: the installation itself did not work properly. After the failed install, I was approached directly by the technician, Juan, who suggested working "off the books" outside of GetWired Tec to supposedly fix the issue for $125. Trusting that he knew the system and could correct the problems, I agreed and paid him via Zelle after he installed an additional HDMI switch device he recommended I purchase. Within less than 24 hours, my entire entertainment setup began malfunctioning: * Inputs stopped working * Audio started cutting in and out * Devices failed to power on correctly * System reliability completely collapsed My setup was functioning before this service. Now I will have to pay another company potentially hundreds of dollars to diagnose and repair the damage caused by this installation. I reached out repeatedly to Juan asking him to make this right and refund the money I paid him, but my messages were ignored or met with excuses. At this point, I'm seeking reimbursement for: The $125 I paid directly for the failed repair The cost of repairing/reinstalling my system The damage done to my media console I strongly recommend that anyone considering GetWired Tec proceed with caution.

Not only were they the best available price, but were able to get things set up very quickly. They are always available if issues arise (always my fault, nothing wrong with the system), and have reached out on numerous occasions to check that everything is working and to our satisfaction. For me, being able to talk to experienced personnel, who are familiar with our system, and not dealing with a remote call center is very important, and they have excelled in that aspect. Jason, who is part of their support staff, went out of his way to help with a minor issue I was having in real time, and fixed the problem. He even personally walks packages and mail over to our location if they are delivered to their unit instead of ours. The installation technician Tyler was extremely helpful in setting up our system, and took additional time to walk me through the system and it's functions, including how the sensors work, where they are placed, and the control panel and remote app to ensure that I was able to use the system properly.
