He came by today and was really informative about everything he was checking as well as what to do if there is ever an emergency or a leak. He gave me essentially a tutorial on my entire fire system which was awesome. Would recommend 10 / 10.

Last evening I made a temporary Mickey Mouse repair to hold me over for the night. Take my advice and hire this company. They're licensed and insured. Attempting to fix fire system pvc can be a tremendous liability on yourself or a plumber that's not properly licensed and insured. It's a costly mistake to attempt this repair on your own or with a plumber that doesn't have proper qualifications. When all was said and done, this repair took approximately and hour or more. Sterling drained the whole system and used a shopvac to remove approximately 5-10 gallons of residual water sitting in a trap somewhere below. It's essential that the contractor dries out the water so that the glue has time to set and cure for 24 hours. This was a good learning experience for myself because I'm an hvac contractor and I deal with some domestic pvc plumbing (low pressure hvac condensation). I'm glad I didn't attempt the repair myself because if I would have flooded my house a few weeks down the line, my wife wouldn't have been happy. 5 stars for service 5 stars for repair 5 stars for pricing

I called the company that our HOA recommended but never heard back. Called Precision and they promptly gave me a quote, helped me out a little on the emergency pricing, came out, fixed the issue, and got our buildings sprinklers back on. They were so kind, professional, clean, and courteous, so much so that I asked our HOA management to consider them for future annual inspections. Really grateful for the speed they handled everything.

Based on their performance, it is clear Precision Fire Protection respects none of these things. But you don't have to take my word for it... Below is a summary of our two-month ordeal resulting from engaging Precision Fire Protection to conduct a full sprinkler head replacement in our building. If anything is unclear, or you have questions, please feel free to contact me. I'll gladly explain anything that helps someone else make a better, more informed choice. In early October 2023, we were collecting proposals to have 300+ sprinkler heads replaced in our building. Precision Fire was about 30% higher than some out of county competitors, but brought the amount down so we could buy local. We were very happy with this, so we signed a proposal on 10/12. On 10/13, their Project Manager Tom Wilson was to come by to walk the site with a superintendent. He was a no call, no show. He apologized and rescheduled for 10/17. I was stood up a second time. No call, no show. Tom finally arrived the morning of 10/18 to walk the site. He said everything looked good and that we could begin the following week. We had another large interior construction project going on, so I gave Tom the contact information for our site coordinator so that they could brief Tom and the folks at Precision Fire on our site security protocols and procedures and make sure neither Precision Fire, nor the other contractors we had on site got in each other's way. Tom assured me they would make contact. They did not contact our site coordinator. Instead, Precision showed up on Monday the 23rd unannounced. They did not warn us or our alarm company, so they set off the alarms when they drained the system. They left our doors open, so unauthorized members of the public wandered on to an active construction site. During the head replacement, Precision did not properly cover office furniture, leaving black stains and debris on workspaces. The left black stains on the exterior of our building and on a custom hand-painted mural. The flow switch was not properly set upon completion of the job, so staff was called back at night when the alarm went off and the Fire Department was dispatched. Escutcheons and old sprinkler heads were left in piles where they were taken off. Precision took a 15 foot ladder out of our storage, used it, and left it in walkway for our staff to put away. They tossed around furniture and expensive art pieces that had been packaged and stored during the construction. A rented scissor lift has been left on site, covered in boxes of old sprinklers and escutcheons, for the past 49 days. Dear reader, that rented scissor lift is STILL HERE blocking our doors as I write this in December. We have had to call Precision Fire back out several to clean up their messes and to finish the job. We signed the proposal on 10/12, and it is now 12/11. We are still not done. As part of our agreement, we paid to have a five year certification done (it's listed on our contract), but we have nothing to show for it. One of the escutcheons (that we can see) that we've been "waiting on a part for" finally arrived, but it appears that meant they finally found some scrap metal to fashion it out of (photo included). I have phoned and emailed the owner, Art Galindo, and have received no response. As a result, we have no faith in the quality of work completed by Precision Fire Protection and will need to call in another provider to do the inspection and complete the 5 year certification. I will update this account when that is complete.
