The service was impeccable. The owner was friendly and provided great service. Instead of renting and stopping by the beach for an hour or two instead we pretty much drove the slingshot the entire time. We drove up the A1A from St. Augustine to Jacksonville then drove back down 95. It was the most amazing experience. Needless to say, I will be renting from heat again. The slingshot was clean and the handling was amazing. We picked the manual one because hey driving manual are more fun. The performance on the slingshot was top notch. I may end pitching my own. In the meantime this will be my place to rent from. I couldn't have asked for better service!

He was welcoming from the first phone call. Made processing the appointment and finalizing details of breeze. Upon pick up we were attended to quickly. And as even the lines grew everybody was placed in importance and taken care of efficiently. The drive itself is something you have to experience. With a perfect 75° evening forecasted for a Saturday night, it seemed like an ideal way to enjoy the occasion. Their online booking system was easy to use, and after our credit card was authorized, we were all set for a 5:00 PM departure. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the dock, things took a disappointing turn. The business office was open, but no staff were inside. After asking around at nearby boats, we learned that no one from Sabrage had been seen all day. I called the number provided, only to reach voicemail. About ten minutes after 5:00, I finally received a callback informing me that they had simply overlooked our reservation and did not have staff available to run the boat that night. It's incredibly frustrating to book an event on a Friday, only to show up the next day and find out that the company didn't even check their reservations. Based on other reviews, it seems like the cruises themselves are enjoyable, but the lack of organization and reliability is a major red flag. If you do choose to book with them, I highly recommend calling ahead--maybe even more than once--to confirm that they're actually operating. To their credit, they voided the charge quickly, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. On a beautiful Saturday night in March, in a prime tourist location, I can't understand why a cruise company wouldn't be running. If not then, when? Given this experience, I have no plans to book with them again.

Great experience.We came the Friday after Thanksgiving and since it was the Night of Lights there…read morewere tons of people. Therefore, we waited a good 2 hrs to get ob the carriage ride. A little rough of a wait when you have a two year old. However, there were plenty of kind people that engaged to make the time go by faster. Ride charges $25 (adult) $10 (kids) $0 (2 and under) we shared a carriage with another family. The ride was smooth and literally around all of downtown through many alleys, and main streets. I dom't recall how long the ride was, but my guess would be over an hour because when I got off my legs felt stiff. Bonus they have a blanket on board if your feeling a little chilly. This boat was absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious - and ready for our private 6 person charter. Captain and his wife were so hospitable and friendly. The really neat thing about this is the charter can be as informational (not not) as you'd like it to be. The family has been in St Augustine for quite a while and has tons of experience out on the water. They also know all the cool spots to visit in town, and they're happy to share. They took us on a nice long ride all up/down the coast of the historic city and pointed out some neat spots and wildlife along the way. We even got to see some young dolphins playing! Definitely would recommend checking out PIA if you're looking to see a different side of St Augustine. Affordable, friendly and fun!
