She took us to the Beautyrest Black medium and we laid on it and the heavens opened up as we both were cradled by a cloud. We tried others but kept coming back to this one and Sofia honestly was interested in what was best for us... well as they say the rest is history now just waiting for it to be delivered... highly recommend Sofia if you looking for a mattress!

I didn't want the mattress protector for $300 and I didn't want the "free sheets". She mumbled something about not getting a perfect record and then insisted on throwing in the "free sheets". After some numbers gymnastics and another customer interrupting the process, we were told she would finish up and email the finance docs for us to sign. The invoice shows up with full price charged for the frame but I got the free sheets! The day of delivery, June 10th, we were given a window that they blew past twice. I had my bed stripped down and ready, but they tried to reschedule us. We insisted so they showed up after 10pm but the platform boards were missing from the bed frame. They had to leave the OLD FILTHY BOX SPRING under my brand new mattress which requires a leap up and jump down! We were promised they would follow up soon. They scheduled the delivery for June 19th, and when that day arrived and we called to confirm, there was NO RECORD of scheduled delivery and the boards were NOT in stock! Rescheduled to July 15th so here we are waiting for a phone call that they said we would receive this morning. Well, there we have it, just got "the" call. Now they will deliver the boards on Friday! So NO!!!!! Not a great experience!

I requested an exchange or simply remove the mat charge from the bill. The incompetent sales person tried to pin the mistake on a non employee. They were willing to sell me another mat for $300. If you are looking for ignorance , incompetence and poor service this is your furniture store. This edit is being posted 5/20/24. After registering my complaint with BBB I was contacted by a customer service representative. The owner refunded cost of the rug mat. I had since purchased the appropriate size. Delivery personnel were sent to pick up the old mat and put my new mat and rug back into position. The owner ultimately did the right thing. I did not complain or contact anyone to voice my complaint, since it was a gift. The Comeaux family who owns and operates AFD can't be blamed for it. It must've happened during transportation and went unnoticed. I don't know what it sold for but I got it for free and delivered. I use it regularly and appreciate the gift. Maybe it was discounted and you don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I know the Comeaux's and they're good Christians and very honest people. I know they'd extend a hand to me if I asked them to. She was tolerant and patient and made requested changes easily. Now they have the same furniture for for insane prices that still need the same amount of work. And forget it if they slapped a coat of paint on one.
