So I have a 6 month old Thor gas oven that's under warranty from Home Depot. It doesn't work. Thor sets up the repair through this outfit. Schedule an 8 hour window yesterday. Lose the 500$ and stay home. No one shows. Reschedule the next day. It's now 3. Lost another 500$ by staying home. No one's here yet. Could have worked the two days. It would be great if you could talk to someone but it's Ai customer service only. Terrible experience and my oven doesn't work and no idea if anyone will show because you can't contact them. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable way to treat people that spent a lot of money on a product. I see on another review there is a phone number- that doesn't work either. And I see people getting stood up 3 times. Now they call and canceled and said the next appointment is July 29th. I couldn't start my Crafstman Tractor mower. It went completely dead. I charged the battery for a couple of hours. Didn't started. I made an online appointment at Sears.com. The Technician, DANIEL P. demonstrated a clear understanding of my specific riding mower's make and model. He seemed knowledgeable about its common issues and repair procedures. Daniel accurately diagnosed the problem with my riding mower and explained the issue clearly and concisely. He provided a clear estimate of the cost and time required for the repair. He was polite, respectful and professional . He kept me informed about the progress of the repair. The repair cost seemed reasonable for the work performed. 2 blades were replaced, tires were inflated, lube check and test, the dirty battery connections were cleaned. I would recommend this technician to others. I am very satisfied with the overall service. read more

Mike was absolutely the best but the overall process is horrible. We always had the protection agreement and now they push us to the home warranty not happy with it at all from the first call that refused to help when my refrigerator was at 60° three calls later I finally had an appointment to now I am trying to get a food reimbursement and there's no one to call unfortunately because of bad eyes I can't do it off my phone and evidently you have to go online which is ridiculous It's pretty sad I had the protection agreement for over 30 years and it worked wonderfully. Don't know what Sears is doing for this warranty, but the process itself is horrible even though the Repair Man was wonderful. read more

The part we needed had to be ordered after the first technician diagnosed the problem. We had to schedule a follow up appointment for when the part was delivered to us. Once we received the part (within a week of ordering it) I went online and rescheduled our appointment to a same-day service. Our technician called about an hour before he was due to arrive to give us a head's up. He was quick and performed the repair with a minimum of anything needed from us. Overall this was an extraordinary experience, we were kept informed every step of the way and would absolutely recommend! read more

With all the negativity about Sears, I've been very happy with their service of my Samsung deter. I purchased it 5 years ago and then it starting having heating problem. Made a service appt and they were quick and on time on the day I chose. I did buy an extended service contract just in case. 2 weeks later the dryer was not heating again - they're online help was great and I had an appointment for service the next day. It's fixed again and there was no charge for service call, labor, or parts- due to the 90 day warrenty on the work. I was very pleased! read more

We had a leaking washing machine and called Sears for service. A repair man (Scott) was on the scene 2 days later. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a leaking pump. Since he had a pump in the truck, he was able to replace the old pump with a new one. The entire diagnosis and replacement took about 1 hour. I am very pleased with the service. I could have gotten faster service if needed, but did not deem it necessary. Scott was excellent. read more

I've been posting frequently on Yelp to get Sears Corporate to CALL ME, they won't because they wronged me and are hiding. Watch they'll respond to this post saying sorry, email us, blah, blah, etc etc; it's all lies, THEY DO NOT CALL. The service rep was super respectful, timely and most importantly knowledgeable. he resolved the issue in minutes. I had a 4 prong 30 amp plug connected to the wall, but the people at Lowe's never fixed the connection to the dryer for an 4 plug configuration. the fact that the dryer worked for almost a year was shocking and the fact that the dryer wasn't shocking is also shocking. ;) hats off to Sears and to the tech. read more

He was efficient and really knew was he was doing when other appliance repair people didn't. I am so relieved my washer is now working.
