I was met with a rude tech who came to my house, opened the freezer a few times & said he thinks it's the control board. At no point did the tech pull the fridge out of its cubby, at no point did the tech inspect the fan or wire harness for the freezer, at no point did the tech even look at the control board which he claimed needed replacing, all he did was open my freezer & confirm what I already knew (that it wasn't getting cold) he said he would see if the control board was still available/discontinued & would follow up. They called this morning to let me know the part was no longer available & nothing could be done. I paid $100+ for absolutely nothing, AAA appliance should have taken my model number over the phone when I had first called for service and tried providing it, had they done this they could have come to the same conclusion (parts not available) without scheduling a tech. Beware consumers, this companies schtick is making money off of "diagnostic inspections" which in my instance should've been avoided as it was completely unnecessary due to unavailability of parts.

The second time they came out the panel was malfunctioning so they replaced it. The fourth time they came out the unit was just leaking water while not powered on or running, and this only occurred after they replaced the control panel. The technician spent 10 minutes at my house before concluding it was "the sink overflowing" despite all of the evidence I provided indicating it very much was not the sink. They charged me a service fee of $137 and left. Now I am left with water continuously pooling in my basement from a washer that didn't do this until Advantage Appliance Repair touched the unit. They did more harm than good. Stay far away from this business.
