Hears how it went down. I called them on a Thursday and I had a list of things that needed done on my company leased car. I read the list to them and they said they could do it on Friday in about 2 hours. I was there when they opened at 8am on Friday. I showed them the list of things and read it to them again. They again told me about two hours. I left and came back after about 1.5 hours and took a seat in the waiting area. Shortly the this gal came and told me they had to order parts and the parts wouldn't be there until about 12:00 or 12:30... So my 2 hours turned to 4 to 4.5 hours. After sitting there another hour or so the manager came walking by and ask me how things are going. I told him not good and explained to him what was going on and wondered why they couldn't just walk across the street and buy the filters my car needed. He said he would look in to it. About another half hour later the gal comes back out and calls me "Honey" (I wasn't in the mood for Honey) and explained that the parts are on order and would be here by 12:30. I ask how long it would take to put them on once they are here and she said it would be another 2.5 hours. You see where this is going right??? I left without all the work being done. She did say I could come back in and spend most of my Saturday so they could finish the work. I didn't do back and I suggest you also not go. read more

Called here asking what the current wait time was. Was told about 4-6 hours, so come back tomorrow. That wasn't going to do so I called around and sure enough Sears was going to be the soonest to get me in without an appointment and I could just shop in the mall while I waited. So I showed up and I tell the guy I need two tires put on, whats the wait? Like 4-6 hours right? He says about an hour and a half. Odd, could have sworn he just told me up to 6 hours on the phone just 15 minutes ago. Oh well! Guy tells me the damage is about $200 bucks. Not bad. My son and I go shopping and eat lunch. I get a call from the fella telling me its almost done so we mosey our way back. Anyways I see my car is still on the lift so I take a seat in the waiting area. About an hour later the car is being lowered on the lift. Still haven't called me in to pay and leave. ANOTHER half hour because I don't want to be that impatient fella but my phone has just died and my son is starting to unravel in the bare waiting area. I see the guy and he is talking to his coworkers and I ask him how much longer. He says its been done for about 45 minutes but he's been stuck up here with a customer. WHAT? No you weren't. Ive seen you walk by a bunch and your just jabbering on here! Gimme my keys, let me pay and get out of here. Oh snap the bill is $532. He tells me the tires we chose beforehand are out so they put on another set. Terrible customer service and work done without my consent and charged over $300 bucks than what we agreed upon. Made an appointment to have one half of a tire rotation done Sunday at 1pm. We arrived early and they got us in immediately. As the service was going on, my father noticed the tech was working on the wrong side of the vehicle. We needed the passenger side front & rear tires switched. My dad stewed about this happening so I decided to pop my head out and ask why he was working on the wrong side of the car. He was misinformed on what we were there to have done. After taking more time that it should, when my dad when to check out and pay, he asked the cashier how much was he charging and the guy said "just put your card in the machine". When my dad realized they were charging him double (for a full tire rotation) he demanded a refund. They refunded him except for the tax ($1.30). He then had to wait for a manager to come over and handle it. The manager did however inform us "I don't know why I even train people". Clearly this department is in serious disarray! We and another customer left that department so frustrated, I don't believe I will ever do business here again. read more

I try to fix my cars myself as far as my knowledge can help me. So I went in there for a diehard platinum battery I got all the questions answered that I had asked got my discounts and left it went smooth no waiting or anything like that. I was informed that if I wanted them to install it, it would be a few hours. Changing a car battery is like changing a light build no way I'm going to pay to have it done. I had some engine tune up work, and I was overcharged by an arm and a leg. I reported this to the Better Business Bureau, and Goodyear refunded one charge, but later I found that they did not put in the expensive spark plugs they said they put in. They did not replace the plugs, but charged me a great deal. I found this out from another mechanic who knows and works on my car. Overall, Goodyear is an unethical business. read more

I was told I had an appointment and when I showed up was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half before they could put my tires on. I have a 2 year old with no nap. I come back nearly 2 hours later after receiving no phone call. They said it would be an additional hour. 3 hours in the mall with a 2 year old and no nap.. Never coming back. read more

Ordered a part for my high mileage vehicle. Did not hear back then called after two weeks (I paid for the part in advance). They claimed they could not find my order. Read the reciept number and asked for a refund, they called two days later after ordering the part. Dropped the car off at 10AM, was again told they could not find the order/part. Again read the reciept information to them, and was finally told it would take about 1 1/2 hours to finish the job. Two hours later, they called, pointed out another part that was worn, and as they were working on the car already... not a problem, it is a high mileage vehicle, and I expected there could be more than one part needing replacement. Two more hours projected to finish this additional bit of work. After two more hours, the car is still not ready, they ordered the wrong part and had to reorder it So now they have dropped the ball three times. I could hear my car sigh in frustration and boredom. Told it would be about 45 mintues more, I let my hopes rise that I would be on my way...nope. Spent time talking to other customers in the waiting area, we all are developing prison pallor. Some customers are making hash marks on the walls to count the time left in their self imposed Sears Automotive sentences. I finally left at 5:30 in my car. I went in for an oil change and coolant exchange at Sears in Silverdale. A few other services were added to my bill but I'm not even sure what was actually done -- I'm not an expert on car engines but my intuition tells me that I have been ripped off. The bill totaled nearly $300.00 and customer service gave me a call about an hour into the job asking if I would like some more repair work done -- that would further bring my bill to a total of $600.00. (I declined their offer and asked for a written estimation of the work suggested -- When I popped the hood -- 2 out of the 3 jobs suggested weren't even necessary. Their fees are outrageous and I'm skeptical that the mechanics even conducted the extra services that are listed on my bill. (Yes, they did the oil change and coolant exchange but the previous day the engine had been meticulously cleaned in order to see if certain screws would be tampered with on the day of the service -- In addition, there was no rust near the base of the spark plugs as the Sears 'crew' had claimed. Anyways, I would like to demand a partial refund and/or have the mechanics show me what services were conducted on the car. Any feedback would be useful. Thanks for reading this. read more

Brought car in for very loud brake noise and expected to need new front brakes. Turned out to just be mud on the rotors. While the car was on the lift, they rotated my tires. No charge. Very courteous. read more

Everything about buying a dishwasher, washer and dryer from Sears is poor. The installation people chipped the counter above the dishwasher and hit the handle on the cabinet next to is when installing. They have not followed through on repair nor compensation on this. The washer does not use enough water to rinse out the soap and lint. I have tried online and on the phone to get to customer support for help with this. I am told they can't find my phone number and therefore can't help me. The dryer does not allow me to dry something for 5-10 minutes on high or medium heat. The dryer starts up again if I do not empty it in 5 minutes. I can't undo that setting. The lint filter leaves makes a mess on the top of the dryer each time when I pull it out to empty it. I asked the Sears sales person for simple machines and this is the best she could do. The machines are gong back to Sears today if the delivery people ever show up. These machines are over-built. I know how to do laundry. read more

This was a failure from the order to the install. Ordered tires online but site did not work had to be helped by online customer service. Had the correct tires but put down they were going on a truck I have never owned. The tires are for my Airstream. Had to track tires down because Silverdale, WA store did not receive the order from the online desk. Made appointment with store told them I was bringing new wheels and they would be going on my Airstream that I would bring to the store. Got to the store and was told they do not do trailers. After going around and around with them. They called and made an appointment at Less Schwab to have the wheels and tires put on my trailer. I had to pay an additional fee to Less Schwab that took away the savings I thought I was making by buying from Sears. The sears store was very slow and techs were standing around waiting for work. I used to wait in line for to get into this place. Sears will be the last place I go to again. Very dissatisfied with this place. Shop else where!! read more
