Just be sure to book your appointment online! The appointment slots open I think exactly one week in advevery Monday (I'm not 100% sure on that though, and the time slot optionsare very limited and fill up quickly. If you can snag an appointment, it's one of the easiest and smoothest places to get passports done, especially with kids. Most recently, we used one of the multipurpose rooms here for a homeschool class event, hosted by an employee from the Las Vegas Natural History Museum for an ocean life class. I really love that the museum does that and we've always had great experiences with classes like this brought to us. Overall, this is a fantastic library for so many reasons, not just for checking out books, but also for community events, meeting spaces, and passport services. We've had nothing but great experiences here!

The library is always clean and welcoming, there are beautiful art displays throughout, and there are plenty of comfortable areas to sit, read, study, or work on a laptop. Unfortunately, today the noise level was honestly surprising. There were groups of kids and teenagers playing games on the computers, talking loudly, yelling, and using pretty inappropriate language. It got to the point where I had to put my headphones in just to focus on my work. What was most disappointing was that staff didn't seem to address the noise, and I didn't see any security around during my visit. I completely understand that libraries are community spaces and don't need to be completely silent, but there should still be a reasonable expectation that people can come here to read, study, or work without excessive noise. I'm hoping today was just an unusually loud day because I've always liked this location. I'll probably give it another try in a few weeks, maybe once school is back in session. It really is a beautiful library, I just wish the environment today matched the peaceful space it's meant to provide.

Guess we usually come on a saturday, and it wasn't open. Pricing is very good. We didn't find anything. Has well-stocked shelves in many different categories, even foreign language items, which surprised me. I know some languages, other than English. But only fully fluent, about 80%, in one of my mom's languages (she knows four languages, fluently). Noticed that the display cases inside of the main lobby have been moved. This is a pretty large Library.

I came here to print stuff for work and ended up loving this cute library; it's better than most of the libraries back home in Los Angeles. It is clean The staff - including the security guards - are pleasing and accommodating. The private study rooms are all glass so you can see all around. The reading room for the kids is active. You can hear the laughs while a reading is in place. The computer areas - both computers available to the public as well as areas to bring your own - are very well kept. There are videos and DVD's to rent and they even have puzzles you can take - assemble - then return. The bathrooms are clean. I can go on and on and on... If you haven't been - you need to. I brought my niece to Green Valley Library so we could maybe read a couple of books and hang out. The parking is a bit of a walk, not far, but it can be a bit challenging if you have kids or elderly with you. Luckily my niece ran with me so we made it safely across to the front and we were ready for our adventure. When you walk into Green Valley Library you're hit with a huge ceiling and you see a couple of employment agencies for people. That was pretty neat, it was set aside from the library, and it had chairs and benches for people who needed that service, and there is also a little stand where their security is guarding the area. The library in general is pretty small! However, the children's section is setup in its own little area; the bathrooms are within parents' eye view, and there's also a water fountain if that's your fancy. They have plenty of chairs and tables for families to do their homework, some writing/drawing and coloring. Green Valley has a sign on the tables that say you can enjoy coloring, snd they provide you crayons, but no paper or sheets! So if you're looking to do that, try not to forget those items. We were able to grab some scratch paper by their computers- and we made it work! We still had a great time. Their play area is small, and the toys are very basic. They have little chairs for your kids so it was cute seeing my niece have so much fun in her own little space. We read a book, and she had the best time browsing choosing out what she wanted to read. Overall it's a great little library for your kids if you need somewhere to study. I felt like a kid agains it was quiet, full of books and smelled like books! The older section also has a study pod that the librarians can help you use if you need it, which I thought was super neat and modern. Oh, you also check your books out electronically!
