The line is long for Arizona I guess.. Kelly, who sitting in number five is taking her sweet time. She's eating at the desk chatting with Noreen and just completely oblivious to the line. I guess when you have a good job , just don't care. But I don't know where any supervisors are I haven't seen one on the floor yet. But I will follow up with a formal complaint. staff needs more training. I dealt with Kari the trainer and lead supervisor and she told me that the last 2 people that helped me one being over 1 year ago did not know what they where doing. I pointed it out to her you just told me you are the trainer so might want to rethink the way you train your staff. kari the lead and trainer then informed me that my 2 last transactions would be revoked. Bridget the agent and Kari the lead trainer and manager should rethink what they do for work. I get it's the dmv but they have such poor attitudes. do not go to the dmv at 3:45 pm hey have had it at that point in the day. I had to renew my drivers license soon because my license would have to be extended this year. I like Arizona's provision that if you have a clean record, you can extend it for up to eight (8) years. I also wanted the nuclear powered license where you can freely travel by air with no difficulties. The gentleman at the Bullhead City office was very helpful. Within minutes, my license was renewed was renewed and so was my registration (for 5 years!!). All other services usually can be done online which is a big convenience! I've always found the people at that office happy to serve Bullhead City and it's environs. read more

We came in today with a bit of a complicated situation and Rebecca was the most helpful person we have ever dealt with at a dmv ever. She was kind the whole time and explained everything with no attitude. She went out of her way to answer the questions we had. We hope we get to work with her when we come back. When I used this MVD in 2018 they were so nice, polite, helpful...Seriously, I thought I was in la la land! Most of theses places have rude employees, but this location in Bullhead City are welcoming; they embrace you - they want you there; I didn't say that about all the entities! I got my new license transferred from another state, and I got new tags and plate for my car, then later I sold my car so I went down w/the people I sold the car to and we transferred everything...it went smooth, thank you for such a kindness. Please don't be hard on this staff - I fear you will only cause people to harden their hearts if you abuse them at work! I have anxiety so how these people treated me made my life manageable to deal w/this issue effortlessly. Thank you! read more

They have you check in up front, 2 rude ladies ask for your information and give you a number. I believe this number is meaningless though. I proceed to a line with about 45 people in front of me. You make line similar to Disneyland rides, slow and crammed. There's 11 chairs in the open space that is likely meant for family or friends waiting for someone who's in line. Took 3 hours, place is dirty and employees are not empathetic to long lines. read more

Coming from California where we have to deal with the DMV, going to the MVD in Bullhead City was like entering a fantasy world. The place seems never to be crowded, you get waited within minutes, and the prices are reasonable. read more

Kudos to the staff here. I've been here a few times (because of missing paperwork), and I've heard the same thing repeated to these people. The very first (informational) line where they issue numbers/help tickets is a doozy. I've heard a handful of patrons complain that "Arizona doesn't want anyone moving into the state, apparently" all because they cannot get their license when they don't have the appropriate paperwork. There is a list of documents on their website that is required in order to obtain a driver license within this state. Apparently, when staff tries to explain the exact same thing to the people in line, all hell breaks loose. I've seen two different staff members in this first line yelled at by three different people all because THEY did not have the proper documentation. Wow. Today I made it to the window (#7, but I never got her name) and she was quite helpful. I, too, huffed and puffed a bit since I didn't have the proper documentation to register under my maiden name (My CA car title still shows my ex husband's last name. Ugh). But in the end, she was just doing her job, so I knew disputing it would be futile. I was able to register my car in this wonderful state, but sadly, it carries the same last name I'd like to disconnect from. Blah. I'll fix it later. read more

Complete waste of time due to the fact that this MVD does not have 100% access to Phoenix records now I have to make contact with phoenix MVD and speak to a level one tech then a level two tech until I get to level III tech all because somebody hit my car without insurance no drivers license and no registration this is a problem that needs to be fixed this is ridiculous MVD get your act together you guys are state offices paid thru taxes and fees. Serve the people the way you expect to be paid your fees The law abiding citizen waste time they'll never get back and still get screwed because other people break the law. The bureaucracy the lack of communication the abundance of paperwork has to be corrected! read more
