For a suit, for example, I came in with the thought I would need an extensive alteration for good fit. Turns out the fit was an issue of manufacturing. Lana honestly told me the suit was made incorrectly, and while she could fix the issues, I was better off returning it and buying another one. She was so patient and friendly and offered suggestions whenever we each seemed unsure. Both mine and my mom's had delicate lace that seemed to be no problem for her to hem and take in at the waist (as well as shoulder's for my mom). She strengthened my bustle and eyelet, and straightened the bust (the top was curling outward) as my dress had been previously worn. She also added a "modesty" piece of fabric on my sister's v-neck bust; my sister was so appreciative to not have to worry about falling out that day. Haha.
