The City doesn't seem to care I think, as they don't' seem to do any repair. I try to avoid the City for this reason. And there isn't much there for me as far as shopping. Haven't found any good food myself. I don't eat in Columbus, for the reason stated above. The local merchants loss.. The only thing worth seeing, in my opinion is the Antique Mall. Other stores in town have antiques, but never seem to be open! Fun to window shop, but the windows haven't changed in the entire time I've been here, I think. Better call first. The Amtrak Holiday Train stops here. The train offers locals to contribute food to the food panty in town. Google it! A great experience! People also seem to enjoy the Fireman's Park events.

This is the latter type, and they all seem to be very similar (Bethesda, Agrace, etc). Less crowds, traffic, anxiety, and clutter than Goodwill and St Vinnies, but also less selection. Check back regularly and you will find some treasures. For the most part the prices are fair. If I specifically need something, I start with Goodwill, because I have the best chance of browsing. But I dont always feel like stopping in Goodwill just to browse. Versus it can be very peaceful to stop in Boomerangs, or similar. I've probably been there a dozen times since they opened, and bought something 3 of the times. They have furniture, which not all thrift stores carry. The staff has always been helpful.

It appears prices are nudging their way down at this location. I actually found a brand new $60.00 Amazon TV wall mount for $4.99 still in the box. (Amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a great book and jewelry collection! I noticed a great deal of golf and children clothing items as well. Many clothing items had new tags on them. Dressing rooms were open when I visited. Join their loyalty program and you save 10% every time you shop-I signed up the day of! I will definitely return when I'm in the area again!
