Obviously your feelings will vary depending on what you're looking for. If your grandma collected it, you'll find it here in enormous quantities. Precious Moments, knickknacks, collector plates, SO MANY toys etc. Prices are set by the dealer so some things are reasonable and some are not. Put yourself in the mindset of visiting a rummage sale the size of an airplane hangar and you'll be spot on. Staff wasn't especially pleasant. Worth a look, if you don't mind sifting through a ton of stuff.

We spent some time talking to the super friendly owner that lives in Dalton. She said she also sells items online. It's a fun stop in an otherwise very quiet area (at least on a Tuesday morning). The Post Office window-service was already closed for the day at 11:30am!

I found the yarn I needed online at Firefly and emailed to order some. The store associate emailed me back and in the same hour I had completed the order and the yarn shipped out the next morning. The yarn was less expensive than my local store and the whole process went so well I'm going to definitely use Firefly as my main source of fiber yarns. Thank you! Highly recommended

Beautiful selection of nice yarns including several brands I've heard of but not yet tried, (Julie Asslain, Socks Yeah, and Hedgehog) and several favorites, (Malabrigo, Brooklyn Tweed, Opal, and Blue Sky Fibers). I was immediately greeted when I entered and asked if I required help. It was my first time in so I asked to look around. I saw another employee at the back helping people with knitting and suggesting good local lunch locations for people inquiring. Lovely selection of needle cases, lotions, coffee mugs, knitting bowls, and other accessories knitters might enjoy. Large mostly-wool selection though I did see some Quince Kestral for summer season knitters. Definitely worth the stop while traveling from Madison to Green Bay.

There are silk noil dresses to dye, there are antique knitting machines, there are tamari supplies, dread beads, bead crochet supplies, and all the spinning paraphernalia you could possibly dream up. I went in to get some supplies for felting--they have an entire WALL of wool in HUNDREDS of colors, from $2-$4/oz. I picked up three colors of merino to make some dreads to match my new hair (compliments of Aveda, Vici on the Library Mall--fabulous!). I don't know how long I was at this place, but I definitely fell down the rabbit hole. I even snagged some beautiful one-of-a-kind stone, bone, and silver beads, PLUS some lovely hand-dyed merino that was VERY reasonably priced in gorgeous tones of orange and yellow.. John, who was on staff today, was SO MUCH FUN to talk to.. I can't believe I've been living THIS CLOSE to a fiber shop of this caliber, and hadn't found my way in until today. Today I had some extra time after a meeting here, so I decided it was time to visit this store. First, I was disappointed to learn that they don't sell kringles here, so the business name is mis-leading, especially when Christmas is spelled as Kristmas. Ok, now that I got that off my chest, let me tell you hiw cool this store is! There are two levels of everything you will need to decorate your house for Christmas, as well as a lot of great gift ideas. They have Christmas trees, figurines, items to build your own Christmas village, Advent calendars, ornaments, customized ornaments, and anything else you can think of. I can't describe this store and do it justice, so look at my photos for a better look. It's open year-round, 7 days a week, 10am to 5pm, so come see it for yourself!
