I decided I wanted a change in my routine and asked Aaron to help me prepare for other strength sports.

The facility is generally clean, the equipment is well maintained, and I've genuinely enjoyed working out here. On 02/13/2026 at 7:00 AM, while I was in the women's locker room, the cleaning staff announced that the locker room would be closed for one hour for cleaning. I completely understand and support maintaining a clean facility. Since I needed to be at work by 8:30 AM, I adjusted my workout to allow time for a quick shower before leaving at 8:20 AM. However, the locker room was still far from complete at 8:00 AM and again at 8:15 AM. Several members, including myself, were waiting. There are no alternative women's restrooms available in the facility, so those of us who rely on showering before work were significantly impacted. I ultimately had to step around the barricade simply to retrieve my belongings from my locker so I could leave on time (I did not use the shower or restroom). When members asked the front desk how much longer the closure would last, we were told it would remain closed until 9:00 AM, which differed from the original "one hour" announcement. Additionally, during this time, the tone from one of the cleaning staff members toward members retrieving their belongings felt tense. Several other members mentioned they have experienced similar interactions in the past when trying to access lockers during extended cleaning periods. I appreciate that cleanliness is a priority. For members who work out early before heading to work, it may be helpful to know that locker room cleaning during peak morning hours can extend beyond the initially stated timeframe. Clear and consistent communication about exact cleaning schedules and expected duration would likely help members better plan their workouts and avoid unnecessary frustration.

The stairwell going down has graffit,i trash, and almost always smells like pee. The metro line drops off some questionable characters as well. Just to warn you, but these things are out of control for 24. I believe the Monrovia 24 just closed and moved some of their equipment over. I like that there are more machines some of which are still awkwardly placed.

I had a good chunk of time in the morning, so I told myself, let me try a new 24 Hour Fitness. I…read moredrove over to the one in Arcadia, and I was really excited. it's at a cross section of a street and has a stunning view, with large glass windows on both floors. The first floor has treadmills, cardio machines, the reception, storage, and in the back, restrooms, showers, a pool, plus a dry sauna and steam room. The second floor has weights, machines, and a nice salon for group exercises. I was super pumped, but I have to say, the machines are kind of old. some are rusty, not aligned right, and definitely need updating. And, unfortunately, the restroom was really disappointing: trash all over the floor, the sauna smelled, and it just needs a major refresh. After the sun came out, I was really looking forward to seeing a bright side, but even then, the windows were filthy inside and out. I don't think I'll drive another extra 10 minutes to come back; I'll stick to my local gym. If you're in the area, maybe it works for you, but for the drive and the cleanliness, it wasn't a good experience.

Some of the instructors I had actually taken classes with at a different club even before Lagreeology opened, so I already knew the quality of teaching -- and this studio has truly maintained a high standard. You can tell the owner cares about the quality of the routines and teaching methods. Each instructor is professional and has their own style and focus. If you are new, I would definitely recommend trying a few different instructors so you can find the best fit for your level, goals, and workout preference. I have tried at least five different Lagree studios, and overall, Lagreeology is the best. The studio is always clean, well-kept, and welcoming. Parking is also convenient, with plenty of street parking and underground parking available with a gate code. Just be aware that if you are taking an 8 a.m. weekday class, there may be a little traffic nearby since the studio is right across from First Avenue Middle School in Arcadia. Overall, highly recommend Lagreeology if you are looking for a professional, clean, and effective Lagree workout studio.

***make sure you wear NONSLIP SOCKS or else you have to pay for it***…read more Amazing lagree class. I tried a class through Class Pass. Check-in is at the front and you just click on your name. If you're late a certain number of minutes, they won't let you in. I'm new to lagree and the instructor wasn't really helping if you're doing it wrong or how to do it. She didn't show how to do it either. I was looking at other people for guidance and how to work out. Not sure, if it's just that instructor or not though. I did get a good workout. Low impact, high intensity. I like the aesthetic aspect of it being purple lights and it's not too dark. I love that they have FLOW WATER. Rarely do gyms have that and it tastes so good!!! There is a restroom. No showers. Parking is free street parking.

The first few classes ended up with my legs shaking so much not only during the class, but afterwards! I could not keep my left leg on my car brake, so at each red light, I had to put my car in park because my legs were still shaking, HAH! Has anyone else had to do that before?! My car is not bougie enough for that brake hold feature. I haven't had a good workout like that in awhile! It has been a great exercise and I really appreciated the instructors making it a personable environment-- they'd greet you warmly and give you shout outs during the class, as well as help you with your form. The restroom is clean and I love zoning out in the class- focusing on my balance, form, and vibing with their awesome playlists. My only complaint is the parking lot/ location. If the class is full or depending on the time, the parking lot may be full-- I recommend coming early to get a spot. Otherwise, you'd have to park on the street across or on the same side down a bit. Also, if you are coming from the side where REI and 24 Fitness is, making that left turn into the plaza is occasionally a pain. If there are cars blocking the plaza, you won't be able to make that left turn into the plaza. I've had to drive towards the next stoplight and make a U-Turn because of this. Another note, it's located next to the Metro, and the stoplight there with the trains passing, can take a long time, just a warning! Shout out to Caitlyn and Norely, who always provides modifications in case we can't do the full move the entire time. Caitlyn's music playlists are the best! I love that she turns up the music to get everyone pumped! Class always passes by super quick too! If this place was closer to me, I'd definitely go more often! If you are considering going to Pilates and this place is not too far, I definitely recommend! They have Black Friday and other sales where their classes are discounted, so definitely keep an eye out for those!
