After waiting about 45 minutes, I was taken for X-rays and then briefly seen by the dentist, who was professional. I was then told I did not qualify for a standard cleaning and instead was presented with a treatment plan that included a laser cleaning and deep cleaning totaling over $2,800. I declined and reiterated that I had scheduled a standard cleaning. I was then told that even a basic cleaning would require additional approval. At that point, I had already been in the office for nearly two hours without receiving the service I scheduled. I have extensive prior dental history, including implants, crowns, and veneers, so I am familiar with typical treatment recommendations and insurance coverage. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office to new patients expecting a routine cleaning under PPO insurance, as the visit focused on higher-cost treatment plans not aligned with the original appointment request. I left the office without a cleaning after 2 hours.

I initially started off with Dr. Wallace for a few years but then started seeing Dr. Han on a regular basis (I have a Diet Coke addiction and grind my teeth--yikes!) so I regularly had to come in to get my cavities filled or crowns. Honestly, everyone here is beyond AWESOME and they're the absolute best! Extremely professional and knowledgeable, with zero judgement whatsoever. And believe me, I was quite the yapper! And bleeder. They're so accommodating, never kept me waiting and always made sure I had enough Novocain (my body metabolizes the stuff much faster than most so it's annoying that I had to get extra doses during the procedures) which ended up being a bloody mess but it didn't matter-- Dr Han is the absolute master at his craft! Oh and Maggie!!! Maggie is an absolute gangster, I miss her so much! Shes so sweet yet super gentle with her cleanings and when she assists Dr Han? Omg it's game changing, i can't recommend this pair more, they're WONDERFUL. I love the front desk ladies too! Super efficient and easy to work with. Ahhh, LISA!!! Miss your pretty face! Anyway, I was heartbroken last year when I had stop coming here bc they no longer accepted my dental insurance. And now that I haven't been seen in a while, I'm in desperate need of a solid dentist; I just don't think I'll ever find any office better than this. Trust me. Oh ps; red light camera on Katella and Los Alamitos Blvd. make sure you stop behind the crosswalk line when the light turns yellow: do not run it. Second, my actual Dentist always takes a look after my cleaning is done so that he can let me know if there is anything that popped up while I am there that might need attention. This is good. Now... my last two cleaning sessions literally broke my heart. The ladies at the desk have ALWAYS been very kind to me, but on these last two occasions, it was as if... I don't know... something PERSONAL was happening with me. First, she all but snapped at me when I walked up to the desk, and then DEMANDED that I "pay first"... like they used to do to Denny's patrons back in the day (which REALLY made me uncomfortable) so, according to her, "...we can all get OUT of there and go home!". Then, my usual Hygienist was not available, and I wish they had told me this beforehand, and some other... person... did the cleaning, to the point that I can honestly say that she was DEFINITELY UNHAPPY with me!! I didn't know that a simple cleaning can HURT so badly!!! At any rate, I don't know what it was that I did wrong, or who I made angry enough to deserve this treatment, but I can take a hint. No more PAIN, please. I am sorry for whatever it was that I did wrong. I have never been treated like this, not even in the U.S. ARMY. :-(

Rossmoor Was recommended to me by a family member when prior dentist was no longer in network for my insurance. From my first visit I knew that I had found a good place. Dr. Vu is a very kind and gentle dentist. He always has a smile on his face and tries to put you at ease. The dental hygienist who regularly does my teeth cleaning is also very kind, skilled, and very friendly. She is always friendly and chats with me while she cleans my teeth to put me at ease. Despite dentist visits not being something I look forward to, Dr. vu and his staff make the experience as pleasant as dentistry can be. The office itself is clean and organized. The front office staff is also helpful and friendly. I'm glad I found an honest dentist I can rely on.

He does amazing work , extremely gentle and overall such a kind person. His work ethic sets a standard for the whole office, as all of the assistants & hygienists are so nice and understanding. They're happy to answer any questions and always try their hardest. One of the first things I look for in healthcare environments is cleanliness & this place checks all of the boxes. It gives a more "homey" vibe versus your typical medical office. They're also great with kids! The tv on the ceiling helps calm anxiety (even for adults) and they do a little show & tell with all the instruments which give a great introduction and builds a good foundation without the fear of dentists. There is almost never a long wait time and they try to set a perfect amount of time needed for your procedure. My mom has had 3 implants done, two crowns and a root canal and very happy with all the work done, including all of her emergency visits that they fit her into the schedule.

But in this case, I feel it's important to share. I came to this office years ago after moving to Cerritos, right before my wedding, simply looking for a new dentist and a routine cleaning. They had great reviews, which is why I trusted them. From the start, I was told I had extensive issues--multiple cavities needed to be redone and several crowns were recommended. This was surprising to me, as I've consistently gone to the dentist and had never been told I needed such drastic work. Still, I trusted their assessment. The procedures that followed were some of the most painful dental experiences I've ever had. They took hours, felt extremely aggressive, and left me in severe pain afterward--far beyond what I've ever experienced with dental work. I have a high pain tolerance, and this felt very wrong. What was most frustrating was what happened next. I returned multiple times explaining that I couldn't sleep, eat, or function due to the pain. Each time, my concerns were dismissed and attributed to things like not flossing (umm I couldn't floss because of the extreme pain), which didn't make sense given the level of pain I was in. After pushing back repeatedly--especially with my wedding just days away--I insisted something was seriously wrong and requested further evaluation. It turned out I needed three root canals as a result of their prior work. Separately, the crowns that were placed caused ongoing issues. Eating anything with texture would cause gum pain, and I noticed unusual gaps that trapped food. When I brought this up, I was told the only solution was to redo the crowns at additional cost. My crowns also came off. Later, I happened to see a different dentist at the same office (a female provider who may have been temporary), and she immediately noted that the crowns had been placed at an awkward angle. She corrected them, and since then, I've had no pain and no further issues such as crowns falling off. I ultimately switched dentists and have not needed any major dental work since--just routine cleanings every six months, with no recurring problems. Based on what I went through--particularly the aggressive treatment, the outcome, and the dismissal of my concerns--I feel it's important for others to have full context before making a decision.
