When Dr Ong said he was finished I was surprised cause I didn't even know he had already put in the implant.

Invisalign with Ashley - Highly recommend!…read more Working with Ashley at Dr. Oaxaca's office was a great experience and I couldn't be happier with the results :). The process at first felt overwhelming, but with Ashley's guidance, it seemed effortless. She made sure everything was perfect and I finished the program in less than a year! Highly recommend if you are considering if it's the right choice for you :)

Exceptional Care and Expertise from Ashley, RDA…read more I recently completed my Invisalign treatment, and I couldn't be happier with the care and attention I received from Ashley, my Registered Dental Assistant. From the very beginning, Ashley demonstrated exceptional care and attention to detail, ensuring that every step of my treatment was meticulously planned and executed. One of the standout qualities of Ashley is her punctuality and understanding nature. My schedule can be quite unpredictable, but Ashley was always accommodating and flexible, making sure that my appointments fit seamlessly into my busy life. Ashley is incredibly knowledgeable about Invisalign and dental care in general. She provided clear explanations and answered all my questions with patience and expertise. Thanks to her guidance and support, what was initially planned as a two-year treatment was completed in under a year! Her skill and dedication made a significant difference in my treatment journey. 100% chat GPT helped with this review but she's an awesome RDA that's great to work with, as well as the the dental practice. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone seeking dental care, especially those considering Invisalign.

Dr. Lowman gave me every option available, made sure all of my childhood dental nightmares were resolved and gave me the smile I've been wanting for decades! They are all incredible people. Dr Lowman has always been amazing, thorough and helpful to my girls and I. This review however is in regards to Hana, a dental Hygienist. Not sure if it's Hanna, or Hana. Nonetheless I'm that guy that's stopped everything with his face his whole life and flosses maybe once a week. I hadn't been in for a cleaning since Nov 2023 and I knew I'd probably get a talking to. When Hana came out to the lobby to bring me back she immediately made me feel comfortable despite me never having met her before. She laid me back in her chair and got to work, all while educating me on the process. She really explained the science behind healthy teeth and gums to me, in a way nobody ever has and that actually makes me want to maintain them the way I know I should. Sure there was some pain, but none that wasn't deserved. It's hard to explain in words, but Hana really exceeded my expectations, she's a definite asset to Dr Lowman's office and I hope she never leaves!

She was honest and up front about costs and procedure which I really appreciated. I usually don't love going to the dentist, but this was honestly such a smooth experience. The numbing didn't hurt at all, and everything felt really comfortable and not overly invasive. Dr. Park is very detailed and you can tell she really cares about doing things right while keeping you at ease. Her assistants, Gabs, Nicole, Ashley, and Victor were also all super kind and made the whole visit feel easy. You can tell they all get along. The office is also really clean and has more updated technology than other places I've been to. I left feeling taken care of and more confident about my dental health. I'm so glad to have finally found a doctor I trust.

Friendly staff, decent dental work, but major billing fraud issues…read more For the past 4 years, i realized they had charged me significantly more than my Delta Dental HMO copay. I found 19 instances of overcharges for a total of $3,364.00 that they had overcharged me. I listed all the dates, dental codes, actual copay, and what they had told me my copay was. It was impossible to dispute, so they did pay me all my money back over the course of a couple months. I was never given an explanation for what happened, despite asking. Was my insurance plan somehow entered incorrectly in the system? Shrug... well...um.. maybe.. hard to say, was all i was really offered. The fact that nobody knows why I kept being overcharged is concerning. I was also told several times that some refunds weren't possible because the services were "upgrades". I had to explain to the office manager twice that that's not relevant. I had to remind her that every dental procedure has a code. Every code has a set price on my HMO. It's just that simple. Nothing to calculate. So I did get those services refunded as well since the "upgrade" line didn't make any sense, and couldn't be argued since I actually understood how my insurance worked at this point . I just kept feeling like I was trying to be tricked out of my money with deception and jargon. I really don't appreciate being treated like that. I had been going there every 3 months for the past 10 years. When they would look at their screen and price out different procedures I needed "based on my insurance." I have no idea what they were looking at. It wasn't my actual co-pay, but they couldn't explain it. It seems corrupt. Delta dental confirmed to me that the bills they received from Marina smiles showed they charged me the amount they were supposed to charge me (very different from the bill I'd get) So, they must have been aware of what they were doing. They were always so nice to me. It hurts to know they would look me right in the eye and overcharge me by hundreds of dollars, 19 times. Many people work there, and I am sure a lot of them don't know about this and would not work there if they did. I will miss all the good people there.

Omgsh I miss this place!…read more I started coming here in like, 2009? 2012? I initially started off with Dr. Wallace for a few years but then started seeing Dr. Han on a regular basis (I have a Diet Coke addiction and grind my teeth--yikes!) so I regularly had to come in to get my cavities filled or crowns. Honestly, everyone here is beyond AWESOME and they're the absolute best! Extremely professional and knowledgeable, with zero judgement whatsoever. And believe me, I was quite the yapper! And bleeder. They're so accommodating, never kept me waiting and always made sure I had enough Novocain (my body metabolizes the stuff much faster than most so it's annoying that I had to get extra doses during the procedures) which ended up being a bloody mess but it didn't matter-- Dr Han is the absolute master at his craft! Oh and Maggie!!! Maggie is an absolute gangster, I miss her so much! Shes so sweet yet super gentle with her cleanings and when she assists Dr Han? Omg it's game changing, i can't recommend this pair more, they're WONDERFUL. I love the front desk ladies too! Super efficient and easy to work with. Ahhh, LISA!!! Miss your pretty face! Anyway, I was heartbroken last year when I had stop coming here bc they no longer accepted my dental insurance. And now that I haven't been seen in a while, I'm in desperate need of a solid dentist; I just don't think I'll ever find any office better than this. Trust me. Oh ps; red light camera on Katella and Los Alamitos Blvd. make sure you stop behind the crosswalk line when the light turns yellow: do not run it. Also don't run the many, many stop signs if you enter from Bloomfield. You're welcome.

This has been my office of choice, but now I have to say... that I took my business elsewhere…read more First, I had a simple cleaning appointment. I usually stick with the same Hygienist for this, as I am a creature of habit. Second, my actual Dentist always takes a look after my cleaning is done so that he can let me know if there is anything that popped up while I am there that might need attention. This is good. Now... my last two cleaning sessions literally broke my heart. The ladies at the desk have ALWAYS been very kind to me, but on these last two occasions, it was as if... I don't know... something PERSONAL was happening with me. First, she all but snapped at me when I walked up to the desk, and then DEMANDED that I "pay first"... like they used to do to Denny's patrons back in the day (which REALLY made me uncomfortable) so, according to her, "...we can all get OUT of there and go home!". Then, my usual Hygienist was not available, and I wish they had told me this beforehand, and some other... person... did the cleaning, to the point that I can honestly say that she was DEFINITELY UNHAPPY with me!! I didn't know that a simple cleaning can HURT so badly!!! At any rate, I don't know what it was that I did wrong, or who I made angry enough to deserve this treatment, but I can take a hint. No more PAIN, please. I am sorry for whatever it was that I did wrong. I have never been treated like this, not even in the U.S. ARMY. :-(

I've been coming here for quite a long time and my experience has always been amazing…read more I am sad that they are no longer in my network but I'd recommend this office to anyone looking for a great level of care.

I recently visited Dodds for a dental cleaning, and unfortunately, my experience was far from…read moresatisfactory. My employer offers to reimburse a percentage of certain dental services, so I pay entirely out of pocket. When I scheduled my appointment I informed them of this and let them know I would need to know the prices of services before they are performed since I do not have traditional insurance. As the appointment goes on there are several scans that are recommended, which prompts me to ask the price of each additional service before they do them. To make a long story short, I explained to Dr. Dodds that I may one day get my own delta dental PPO plan ($64/mo- see photo attached) but for now I plan to pay out of pocket and have my employer reimburse me. Dr. Dodds said there was no way I could get a delta PPO direct plan for that amount. I kept trying to explain this to him, but he continued to condescendingly tell me it's impossible and must be through covered CA or I'm looking at an HMO plan (which they don't accept). As the appointment went on it was clear me to that the staff and doctors were very irritated that I asked for the prices of services. All in all, Dodds Dental assumed that I was low income and could not afford their services. Fortunately, I have a well paying job and make well over 6 figures. Regardless, it's quite unnerving to me that if you are assumed to be low income that Dodds Dental would treat you in a poor manner and make you feel unworthy of their office. I cannot support a dental office who treats people differently based on their income status. I suggest that anyone who values treating all people equal regardless of race, income status, physical appearance, etc do the same. I hope this is a wake up call and they can do better for those who come into their office in the future.
