Susanne, who was our main contact throughout the process, is tremendously organized and communicative, and Joe and his team are experts in food and hospitality. At our tasting, Joe and Susanne gave us great suggestions to tweak our menu, and welcomed our feedback. Renting table linens and coolers for our bar through them was also a breeze, removing a layer of stress from planning. Not to mention, LCI's rates for their excellent service were more than fair, and we really appreciated their price transparency on their website. On our wedding day, the food was just as good if not even better than at our tasting. Several guests approached us to give their compliments about the meal, and my family who works in hospitality was particularly impressed by the level of care paid to every detail, down to the sparkling clean silverware. One of the best moments for us was seeing the entree Joe made for our vegan guest, who was nearly moved to tears by how thoughtfully it was prepared! During cocktail hour, the passed appetizers came out at a steady pace, and I'm pretty sure the last table called was up at the buffet before my wife and I even finished our plates. We spotted plenty of guests going up for seconds, too. As for the bar, the bartender was friendly and quick, and he executed our signature drinks perfectly. On top of that, it was great to see how seamlessly the LCI team worked with our coordinator and the venue. Luf Children's Burn Camp. For many years, we held this gala at the Aquaturf Club, but in an effort to switch things up, this year's board wanted to try a new venue. I have to say, I'm very glad they did so, because my first experience with The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station was a very positive one. The building is gorgeous, the entry foyer and grand staircase are impressive, the banquet room can hold 300 and it is beautiful, the servers and bartenders were wonderful, the view from the big rear balcony is stellar, and the food was excellent. We had 130 guests who started off the evening with a big hors d'oeuvres station of tomatoes with mozzarella and basil, balsamic prosciutto and artichokes, and a hot crab dip served with crackers and rye toasts. The ribbons of prosciutto and artichokes were excellent, but the crab dip stole the show. When the main food stations opened up, there was plenty - a carving station with ham and turkey with salads and rolls to make a sandwich, and a penne station with terrific green and quinoa salads. I loved the sound system too -when our speakers took the podium, the sound was excellent and filled the room easily. We had a wonderful time at the Riverhouse, and I hope we hold next year's function here again.

These were the words of the manager that checked us out. So we had to additionally tip our weight staff, which was worth it because they worked hard. They need to be more transparent ahead of time as to how much the full payment will be and what goes or doesn't go to the service staff. Very disappointed because of this we probably will not return even though the atmosphere and food was very good.
