They were helpful, responsive, and everything was clear and upfront. There were no surprise charges, or "gotchas". In fact they did several things beyond the scope of the contract without additional charges. More importantly, on the wedding day everything went perfectly. They gave us great advice on the set up of the tables, chairs, bar etc. They listened carefully to everything that was asked of them, made a couple of outstanding suggestions and dealt with the problems caused by strong gusts of wind at an outdoor venue with calm assurance. All of the food was incredible. The hor's d'ourves were fantastic, especially the brie and artichoke tarts, mini lobster rolls and tuna tacos. The mac and cheese in mini ramekins were also a huge hit. The dinners were equally delicious. I had the half chicken, which was served with a delicious polenta. It was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, moist with a crispy skin. Other sides were served family style and were all fantastic. The dessert was also superb. Each guest received a trio of mini desserts, each of which was delightful. We had several guests with food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free). The servers made sure the restrictions were observed, and they made it a point to bring appropriate appetizers to those guests, which was a very nice touch. All of the guests raved about the food. The service was also first class. There were so many servers handling the passed hor's d'ourves that every guest had multiple chances to try each of the offerings. Service of the dinner was equally impressive. The venue is outdoors, and it is a bit of a hike from the kitchen tent to the dining area. Despite that, the guests were served quickly, and the food came to the table still hot. Finally, their prices are quite reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and service. A very good value.

Susanne, who was our main contact throughout the process, is tremendously organized and communicative, and Joe and his team are experts in food and hospitality. At our tasting, Joe and Susanne gave us great suggestions to tweak our menu, and welcomed our feedback. Renting table linens and coolers for our bar through them was also a breeze, removing a layer of stress from planning. Not to mention, LCI's rates for their excellent service were more than fair, and we really appreciated their price transparency on their website. On our wedding day, the food was just as good if not even better than at our tasting. Several guests approached us to give their compliments about the meal, and my family who works in hospitality was particularly impressed by the level of care paid to every detail, down to the sparkling clean silverware. One of the best moments for us was seeing the entree Joe made for our vegan guest, who was nearly moved to tears by how thoughtfully it was prepared! During cocktail hour, the passed appetizers came out at a steady pace, and I'm pretty sure the last table called was up at the buffet before my wife and I even finished our plates. We spotted plenty of guests going up for seconds, too. As for the bar, the bartender was friendly and quick, and he executed our signature drinks perfectly. On top of that, it was great to see how seamlessly the LCI team worked with our coordinator and the venue. We are all still talking about the lovely dinner they whipped up. My husband who does not like vegetables, LOVED THE VEGETABLES!! I don't really like meat, but I LOVED THE CHICKEN over beautiful fresh squash. We couldn't get enough and went home very full and satisfied. Working with SKBT and Karen has been a joy from start to finish. From the moment we walked into our tasting to create our delicious menu, to last minute changes, to executing perfect food the day of, I want to relive this experience again and again. My guests raved about the menu, and some favorites included fun takes on cocktail meatballs, shrimp and grits, and chilled tomato soup shooters. The food was beautiful and displayed like it was in a magazine. Karen and her team were also in charge of staffing my event. This meant not only did they feed my guests, but bussed the tables, cleaned up trash, set up my pie display (Karen took it upon herself to clean out her stock of cake stands and create the most beautiful tables ever) and EVEN mop my bathroom trailer when it sprung a leak. As guests started to leave, SKBT cleaned every table and organized my decor. Best of all, Karen and her team were friendly and attentive the entire night. My bridal party had their own tray of appetizers waiting for them immediately following the ceremony, and all night the staff checked in on my husband and I (as well as my parents) to see how they could help. I eagerly look forward to having another event so I can hire this team again.

We were waited upon shortly after being seated. The dining room is spacious, nicely lit, and the seating at tables is comfortable. We decided to go with all tapas to share. We started with a nicely dressed house salad. Then we ordered and shared grilled shrimp a la plancha, empanadas, chorizo, and lamb-beef-pork skewers. All were nicely plated and delicious. We each ordered a Spanish rose which was a perfect accompaniment to the tapas. We celebrated my wife's birthday with a scrumptious order of chocolate lava cake served with a scoop of ice cream. Service was friendly and professional. Sadly, however, the dining room was noticeably not busy. We wondered why- could it have been that people were worried about the upcoming blizzard and just decided to stay home? What a shame. This is a really fine restaurant. If in the mood for Spanish-influenced cooking, then you really must give Bistro Mediterranean Grill and Tapas Bar a try.

The menu listed the house gin at $5. I asked which Gin did they use as House Gin. The bartender said, I can give you Tanqueray but the price is not $5 like the menu says, it's $7. He said that menu was from Milford, not Westbrook. Weird...so I get a glass of wine, which did ring at $6 like the menu said. We ordered a few "tapas". Out of the four that we tried, the best one was the turnover (empanada), then the meatballs (tiny meatballs), then the fried calamari (which tasted and looked out of a frozen wholesale fried calamari bag) and last the pork medallion (not tasty at all). When the bill came, two of the tapas had the wrong price (higher than what the menu said)....I had to ask the bartender to rectify, which he did.....Poor people the ones that do not check their bills....they can easily be overcharged here....Big time..... Not recommended....not coming back.

Located in Clinton Connecticut, this mainstay restaurant came highly recommended by many of my friends. I pulled in and parking was a breeze, even though it was busy. This parking lot was big. Lots of handicapped spaces also. My friend and I went in and we were greeted warmly, and promptly seated Knowing portions were big, but not realizing how big they would be we passed on appetizer. This is where it gets good! My friend ordered lasagna, and I ordered the eggplant Parmesan. We also ordered water, Immediately out came the salads that were included with the meals. These salads were medium sized, and we're probably good enough for just a lunch! Tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped lettuce, and a very nice house dressing, consisting of a creamy garlic, which was delicious. After salad was done our fantastic waitress brought us a big bowl of pasta and sauce. I could've made a meal out of this! This wasn't just any run of the mill, this was delicious pasta and sauce. Oversized entrées were next on the Bill and I ate probably 1/5 of the eggplant Parmesan. It was huge. I think three or four people could've split this. My friend ate probably about the same of the lasagna. For dessert, we split a Reesie's chocolate pie that was very, very sweet creamy, and hit the spot with the chocolate sauce and whip, whipped cream around the plate Bag probably weighed at least 7 pounds. We brought home the pasta, the lasagna, and the eggplant Parmesan. I loved the eggplant Parmesan. I make a pretty mean Parmesan, but this eggplant Parmesan was on point. It just exploded with great Italian flavors My friend liked the lasagna, as she said it was very, very nice I'm still raving about the big bowl of pasta that came with the meal. Dinner with the tip which included the two big meals which I think were 24.95 each along with the dessert and the big bowl of pasta was roughly $80 and change. This was a deal of deals. There will be meals during the coming week. If you're at the shore and you need takeout, this will be good for the week. I love this I am now a big fan and I look forward to returning in the spring when the weather gets nice All in all, I wonder what took me so long to come to The Log Cabin!

    We ended up coming to Lobster Landing twice during our trip -- once on the way to Mystic and again…read moreon the way back -- which probably says everything you need to know. It's definitely a little more expensive than some of the other lobster spots we tried, but I honestly liked the food here the most. The lobster meat is lightly seasoned with what tasted like butter and lemon, and it all worked perfectly together without overpowering the lobster. The bun was incredibly soft and loaded with so much meat that it was practically falling apart in the middle. We got the half-pound lobster roll both times and would absolutely order it again, but it is $60. The clam chowder was also excellent. It's creamy without being too thick, and you can really taste all the ingredients. The hot dogs seem to be really popular -- almost everyone was ordering a lobster roll and a hot dog combo. My son loved them so much he had two the first visit! The outdoor seating and water views make it such a relaxing place to sit and eat, and there's also a market on-site where you can buy lobster and shellfish. Definitely one of our favorite stops and somewhere we'd happily return to.
