This place is an old school shop and there are bar stools facing out of the window where you can rest whilst you wait for your fish to be freshly cooked to order, or to munch down on your purchases. I ordered a burger plus chips with curry sauce. The burger was the most disgusting piece of meat I've seen in a long time. It had no resemblance to meat. The bun was very bland and the cheese was even worse the the stuff you get from the usual main fast food branches. The chips and curry sauce were ok, but nothing I would write home about. But the tables are large enough to seat a party of six at quite easily, and the service is freindly and prompt. Prices are good - very reasonable. And they serve all the favourite classics (fish, chips and mushy peas..) along with a few veggie choices. They even do chips with gravy - can be a rarity these days! We didn't have to wait all that long for our orders to appear, and it was all frsshly cooked and delicious. I'd definately stop by there again.
