This restaurant takes allergens seriously. The first question asked was if we had any allergies. She gave us an extensive allergen menu, but my weird allergy to onions wasn't covered. Not to worry, she confirmed no onions in the fish batter, no onions fried in their oil, so I could enjoy their delicious battered cod and fries for the first time in years (without tartar sauce because, yep, onions). Service was excellent while my cod and my husband's hake were both tasty, served with endless perfectly prepared chips. I read about the owner who donated money to a local aquarium and museum to help them thru covid closures, although his businesses closed too.
Outdoor tables are available on the beach side, but the interior is light, clean, and cheery with well spaced tables. Would definitely eat here again. read more
