Excellent homemade soup. Great menus. Clean. Caring staff. My husband's recovery from a knee surgery went well by his stay at Seacrest.

She has been here since August of 2023 and our family has been very pleased with her care. The facility is relatively small, secure (locking gates and door to public areas), and I am not worried at all about Mom wandering out. The staff is very loving, caring, and attentive to mom's needs. I've also had the pleasure to dine with her several times and the food is always very very good! The facilities are clean and well maintained, and there is a lovely activities room and backyard/patio area. I can't say enough about how kind and accommodating the staff and management have been. I have an uncle who spent a lot of time with her daily, into the evenings, and he also raved about how wonderful my mom is cared for. As her care and medical needs have increased, we recently brought in hospice. They also commented on how much the med tech knows about my mom, and were impressed. Hospice and Summerfield are now working together to make the rest of mom's days as comfortable as possible. Is it perfect? No assisted living facility is ever perfect. But when there are issues (room needs cleaning, for example) it has always been addressed quickly. The staff is prompt at calling me when there is an issue with mom. The med techs and caregivers usually know off the top of their heads, what kind of day my mom is having. If there's been a shift change, whomever I ask always looks up the med tech notes and lets me know how she's been that day. We have many family members visit Mom, and they are always welcomed and never rushed out or made to feel obtrusive or in the way. In fact, lots of love and visits are strongly encouraged, and the staff is always so accommodating! There are many different types of facilities in San Diego area, and I recommend that Summerfield be on your list to check out if you have the need for memory care assisted living for a loved one. They are very competitively priced, and with the wonderful care, good food, activities, and kind people, this place is definitely worth a look.

We'll do a second interview. She never hit me back. She actually started saying very offensive thing to make me get out of my character. I walked out, bawling my eyes. And it makes it no better that the receptionist y'all changed them or not. I hope y'all did because they're rude. They're like those TikTok receptionist that people make fun of or being a fucking bitch. Looking back, our family could not be more grateful for the care, compassion, and community they experienced. What sets Belmont apart is that it feels like a home, not a facility. From the front desk staff to the restaurant team, caregivers, nurses, and leadership, there is a genuine sense of warmth, joy, and respect that extends to residents and their families. My father often told us how grateful he was to live there and always referred to Belmont as "home." The staff truly knew and cared about my parents as individuals. Whether it was remembering my dad's favorite meals, supporting his faith, keeping him engaged through activities and Circle of Friends, or providing comfort and dignity during the final chapter of his life, their kindness was evident every day. Our father lived nearly five years after losing our mother and continued to enjoy a rich, meaningful life because of the exceptional care and community Belmont provided. Knowing he was safe, valued, and genuinely cared for brought our family tremendous peace. Entrusting your parents' care to others is one of life's hardest decisions. Belmont Village Cardiff exceeded every expectation. We will always be grateful for the love, dignity, and support they gave our parents and our family.

We were hopeful it would be a good fit and after almost a month, Westmont surprised us by exceeding our expectations. The health and resident providers are caring and incredible. Concerns are addressed immediately. Donelle the executive director, and the entire Westmont team- especially Stephanie -have provided the highest level of customer service to both the resident and their families. So far, Mom says the dining room produces tasty and nutritious meals. The dining staff tries hard to please. The common areas are lovely and always clean. The hallways smell great and fresh on our regular visits. However, the best part for our mom is the combination and superior quality of the resident activities. This combined with the Westmont community have made a tremendous difference in keeping Mom engaged and busy. We didn't realize how much mom needed this aspect. Living here seems to have cured her loneliness that had crept in the past year and that she tried to hide from us. She continues to be very involved with her family, but now she has the much needed social connections without the increasingly strenuous effort it took on her part when she lived alone. Live music, field trips, holiday celebrations, current events -wow! Lots going on...Every. Single. Day. Fellow residents have welcomed her and the staff encourages interactions. When she tires, mom retreats to her very well-appointed apartment. It's remarkable to us how quickly Mom began thriving here. The impressive Westmont team have been the answer to our prayers after a very trying time spent in the hospital and skilled nursing. Our family is extremely grateful.

As my mom has transitioned to hospice care the staff has been amazingly, dedicated and observant of her needs. Throughout our lifetime, our family has owned five senior citizen, retirement centers, and I know how much it takes to run a center such as RanchView. I highly recommend RanchView and all the staff to anyone considering placement for their parent. My decision to move to RanchView was slow and deliberate. My mom had been in home support care living at home for 10 years. I only chose RanchView after a long and dedicated search. My decision was wonderful and I can't recommend RanchView enough. RanchView staff is like family and the facility is our home. When I bring family members with me to visit mom, staff remembers them and also offers to help them to make their visit with mom more comfortable, such as sharing snacks or meals, or providing any type of comfort or conversation that makes their visit to my mom more enjoyable. RanchView stands out as going above and beyond every day.

When a loved one is in a home, holidays in general are difficult, Thanksgiving in particular, may be the most difficult for our family. Kathleen established terrific traditions, hosting 10-20 friends or family and baking 8-10 pies making our 6 grandchildren feel special. This year Ranch View celebrated Thanksgiving one week early and we invited our best friends who attended and made the day even more special. For the second year in a row our family wanted to bring Thanksgiving to Kathleen at Ranch View on Thanksgiving day. Maria and staff set up a table and 10 chairs in a private room for our family Thanksgiving and it was a huge success. Nothing will ever replace our home holidays but in my opinion Ranch View has made the extra effort so Kathleen and our family feel like we have a home away from home. Thank you Maria and staff

The team at La Marea has created a care plan that is tailored to my Father's unique needs. I toured a few facilities before making this important decision and I can tell you that success starts at the top (You get a good feeling the moment you walk in the door). This facility has a dedicated, experienced and knowledgeable Executive Director (Launa Cornell) who has built a solid team of caregivers, culinary experts and support staff. In addition, La Marea is brand new; The place is impeccable! The residents look happy and seem genuinely interested to socialize with the friendly staff and other residents. There are plenty of organized activities and they do an excellent job of posting daily photos on their community Facebook page (It's my favorite Facebook page these days). It's comforting to know that my father is receiving the best care and enjoying his days (and meals). La Marea Senior Living is worth a visit! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this community to anyone looking to place a loved one in an assisted living facility.

She's only been there a short time, and they have done so much to help her integrate into the community. Be sure to check out their website for their offerings. https://www.srgseniorliving.com/communities/solana-beach-ca-la-vida-del-mar On the site you cannot find my comments, so stay here for more... Mom started out as an independent living person, but after losing her balance and falling several times (only her fault), her care needs increased significantly and her status was changed to assisted living. Here's the good part ~ at La Vida, your apartment is yours. If you need a greater level of care, they bring it to you. They don't transfer you to another place, as so many of the residential care facilities do. So mom stays in her apartment and receives PT and other necessary care. It would be easier to take her meals to her, but they don't do that. Instead, a caregiver puts her in a wheel chair and takes her to the dining room, where she can enjoy the fabulous food they have there (and it is fabulous!) and socialize with other residents. This is so important! Mom is happy there, and this is most important of all, especially because she strongly resisted moving from her condo. But her declining health made it unsafe for her to live alone any more. I am so grateful to the entire staff for taking such good care of mom~ her living there has changed her life for the better, and mine, too. I don't worry about her falling or being alone too much.
