Good is different variety of foods from Brazilian/portuguese/american. Some premade foods are ok and rarely you'll save a buck. Bad is customer services there,nobody knows anything really besides one or two people out of whole place. Be wary of the freezers here. Few times I have bought things to get home to see is bad.more than twice I had got Breyers ice cream that was bad clearly and priced at 8.50 ish when Walmart is 4.50ish. They have been very pricey on many items. The Hamburg is always brown in the middle like they repack day before meats with adding fresh meat to outer layer to look pink again. These are just some of the issues. Then you got the most miserable probably divorced ‍ manager/supervisor lady I ever met. All the kids working there are fearful of her cuz how mean she is. The things I heard come out of her mouth while in store,wow in my many years being part of the community surrounding the market. Wonder who she did or what she did to get the position. I will just leave this email right here! Do not go to this place the manager treated me like crap. I went to your location in Fall River ma on stafford road, I had a carriage with quite a few items. The seafood part was closed but deli said I could get something as long as they didn't have to skin it. I said that was fine I only wanted 6 crabs they told me to ask the store manager and she could do it. I went to the store manager and after that conversation I will never go there again. She bluntly told me she would do that and it's too bad cause that area is closed. I said it only had to be bagged and she could care less, she said no! I was leaving and she was bad mouthing me to an associate saying that she didn't care and she wasn't going to give me the crabs and that's too bad I should've been there earlier, she clearly didn't realize I was right behind her! I think I'm finally done with this store. They constantly sell bad chicken or pork There's been too many times we go to cook pork ribs or chicken breasts and the stuff is just discusting. The only reason I go here is because it's close to my house. The service is bad, it's outdated inside, not that clean. There's no way I would go here if it wasn't a 2 minute walk. The store remodel is coming along - the store is looking great. I will write more in a bit, but we have switched to do most of our shopping here. Meat, fish, deli and bakery selection is excellent, with affordable prices. Everyone who works there has provided excellent service while being super friendly. I had the unfortunate experience of shopping at Seabra's in Fall River last summer. I often shop at Seabra's in Bristol and it's world apart from the filthy mess in the south end of Fall River. The entrance way was disgusting and probably hadn't been swept in years.The store was dirty and the staff totally disinterested in their work. This is a place to avoid, HOWEVER, their store in Bristol is great, friendly, clean, etc. Go there instead. I hope management reads these reviews. read more

What a sad place! I liked the mozzarella cheese and Portuguese bread. BUT... Understaffed. Stood in line behind 5 folks with large orders just to buy some cat food. Ok, Im patient. The old guy behind me kept trying to cut into my personal space with a cart, because, you know he's a man with a cart, and I'm not. Every time I tried to make eye contact with him, he looked away. Very Fall Rivah old guy shit. Ok still. After 5 minutes of this, the Front manager Mary Lou, so some such opened the register at the customer service desk, so I head over there. Now, they HAVE a coin weigher, right there next to the register. I had $1.50 in pennies. She yells at me, "These have to be opened! " So she rips open the pennies and proceeds to count each one, retrieve a plastic sandwich bag, put 50 pennies in a bag, then weigh the bag of 50 pennies.THREE TIMES she repeats this. While she's wasting everyone's time, a clerk comes in front bringing in carts to tell her that he can check, because there are no carts outside. She yells at him, "I want you outside on carts!" No eye contact with the customer, I'm such an inconvenience. So I say, "if you don't want my money, I don"t have to come back." HAVE A NICE DAY!", she yells. Too late read more

Spend your hard working funds at other stores that will appreciate your business by offering higher quality food at close to the same prices of what Seabra in Fall River offers. The quality of the so called fresh food at Seabra in Fall River is depressing and distasteful; it's feed quality for livestock. The meat, especially the chicken has an odor not worth the label safe handling or the wording fresh. It's as if this is where unhealthy food goes to die. You deserve better quality food; Seabra in Fall River does not offer that at all. Do not waste your time or money here. This chain of markets differes significantly from store to store. The Fall river store (which I go to most often) has SUPER prices and great meat and produce departments. ( Read : 1/2 price of the two big chains down the street.) Ethnicity revolves around Portugese and Brazilian comunities which brings in allot of interesting products ( particularly in the seafood and meat departments! Smell in this place is a little off mainly because of the open air stored salted cod. Get over it. The store is not dirty and the food quality , selection and prices are worth the trip. Also worth noting is their fresh selection of store baked breads and inexpensive (but good) ethnic wine selections. Only down sides are that the store is ageing and space is limited. FWIW, I can afford to shop anywhere and keep coming back here. read more

This place is horrible for so many reasons. Alot of the food is about to expire if it hasnt already. The place always smells like a mix of rotten food and mildew. The employees are rude and smelly as well, especially Linda (name on name tag) who will yell swear and talk shit to the customers who she dont like. There is always flies in the bins with the loose baked breads etc.. The floor is always sticky like something just got spilled and dried up right before you came in. You can spend $100 on food per visit but they still will only let you cash in $6 worth of cans on each visit and then tell you to come back tomorrow to cash in the can receipts just to refuse them because its yesterdays date. read more
