Stayed for a week in May, the weather was a comfortable 86-88 for the high and having the beach right there was terrific. The condo was lovely with a fresh beach feel. The other condo our group was in was a little more traditional. Both were clean and ready for us to bring out food & stuff and hit the beach! We got to see the lunar eclipse which was an added bonus on a beautiful beach! If you have a tall vehicle there is parking out front but only cars, small trucks/SUV's will fit in the parking under the building. read more

These vacation rental units are really nice. While I didn't actually spend the night, I was checking into different options for friends and family. Each 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit is individually owned and furnished. Sea Shell Condo's are located on Crescent Beach, Siesta Key. This is probably the perfect place for a wedding as well. Prices are on the high end, figure about $200 per night + tax. Beach front view will run you $200 - $300 per night + tax - http://www.seashellcondos.com/rates/ I guess it comes down to your standards and how much you want to spend. These look worth the price to me for sure! Great for 4 people. They have a nice pool too! The nice thing is the location, right across the street from Captain Curt's. Also Stickney Pointe Rd is almost right across the street. For those staying during holiday weekends like July 4th, you won't to wait in that Siesta Key Beach traffic. This alone is worth staying at Sea Shell. Make a right to go across the bridge, when coming back stay in the left hand lane and avoid the traffic. read more

We have been traveling to the Sea Shell for the past 4 years over Thanksgiving week and it is always one of the best weeks of the year. The location is absolutely perfect within walking distance of numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. To get to the downtown village area you can take a shuttle, its only about 2 miles up the beach and there are numerous bars, restaurants and shops there as well. The weather is consistently around 80 and in the 4 years we have been going I think it has only rained or even been cloudy for part of a day. And the beach...words can't explain the beach...its amazing. The Sea Shell is a very nice place, the units are well laid out, each of them has their own character and style. All have small appliances, kitchen utensils, whatever you would need while staying there. The pool is located in the back of the building away from the beach which is not ideal, but the kids love it because it is heated so plan on spending some time there if you have kids. One of my favorite locations at the Sea Shell is the tiki hut where you can grill and just hang out at night; it's right off the beach so the kids can play beach games in the dark while the adults eat and just relax. The Sea Shell is a great condo located perfectly on one of the best beaches in the United States. read more

Stayed here with my family for a week. Rooms are clean well stocked and right on the beach. Clean BBQ grills. Plenty of Lounge chairs for the beach Only problem is everyone with Tents making the beach look like tent City. Other than that had a great week here. read more

We stayed here last June 2015 for 4 days and 3 nights. Each unit is privately owned and we were able to book a condo unit thru a different website. Each unit I assume is furnished by the owner, the unit that we rented out has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, appliances, bath towels (you have to bring your own beach towel), utensils (no condiments though) and we have our own WiFi. It is like being in your own house, that's how cozy our unit was! The only thing missing in the unit is a washer & dryer but the each floor has these by the elevator/stairs area. If you want to do your laundry you to have to get out of your unit. The condo also has a small pool by the entrance and you can park your car inside the building. It would take like 2-3mins of a walk from our unit to get to the beach. We can see the beach from our balcony, watch the sunset and just sit there while drinking beer. The condo also offers lounge chairs that you can bring to the beach and a BBQ grill too which you need to check at the front desk if there are no owners/renters that will use it. There's a restaurant, a small grocery store and other rental stores across the condo. St. Armands Circle is like 20-30mins drive from the condo. Overall the accommodations was great, the building is safe & secure, the price of the unit is reasonable and the location was fantastic. I would highly recommend Sea Shell condo! read more

Horrible experience here! Long story short we rented a place and the tile going into the MB was cracked along with the marble saddle. We called first thing in am to let them know, my older son had gotten a piece in his foot. Called again cause no one came. Went down because still no one came. They put a throw rig over it so we didn't have to switch rooms with all our stuff. A week and a day later the lady calls me telling me we have to pay cleaning fees and try's accusing us of breaking the tile and marble. She was unprofessional and went on to threaten me that if I posted on social media she would post pictures of the room and bash me! Maria was completely out of line and the scary part is she's the manager !! read more

Excellent accomodations at reasonable rates. The condos here are privately owned and the management books them when the owners aren't using them. They're furnished by the owner, so each one is unique. Use their website to find one that looks nice. We had a beautiful condo in which to stay. It was very nicely furnished, featured a balcony with views of the Gulf, and was nearly as comfortable as home. The complex has gated, covered, assigned parking, and is located on beautiful Crescent Beach with locked gate access. Also, the place is convenient to shopping, food, nightlife, and the Stickney Point drawbridge to the mainland- an outstanding location. I would definitely recommend Sea Shell to anyone looking to stay in the area. read more

Of course it's always so nice to stay right on the beach but this condo is in need of some upgrades. It's very outdated and can appear dingy. For the price in the summer, I would expect to find something a little more modern and not so worn down. The specific unit we stayed in was clean and was put together but all the appliances, dishes, utensils and kitchen items were extremely old. Also, the unit lacked essentials that we were often running back to the store for. For the price, I expect more. read more

The condo we rented was spacious and had some remodeling. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pots/pans/utensils/etc. Rate was reasonable, front desk staff were very nice. Our condo didn't really have much of a view...only if you sat at the far corner of the patio could you catch a glimpse of the ocean. There was a bit of traffic noise especially in the morning that was annoying...nothing like being woken up by car horns honking. All in all this was not a bad spot. But there are definitely better spots if an ocean view and a little more peaceful getaway is what you are really looking for. read more

Location, location, location. The complex is directly on the beach. There are restaurants, nightlife, shopping and a small grocery store right across the street. I have been going to Siesta Key for a long time and Sea Shell is my favorite location. Most of the units are 2 bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. Siesta Key beach is rated the number one beach in the USA. Went in October. To bad we had so many issues. First, no one mentioned in any reviews that the property runs right next to a public beach access. There were about 12 parking spots there. So many cars doors opening and closing early and late at night along with the beeping of car doors being locked. One night I woke to someone actually whistling at midnight. Next, major renovation of the balcony floors at the SeaShell and guess where, the room right next door. We asked to move! They did move us and the new unit on the 3rd floor too was closer to the beach and away from the parking noise issue. Pain to move food and all our stuff. Unfortunately, I woke the next morning to some noise in the kitchen......my daughters and husband killing ants all over the counter! At this point, we thought the office staff are going to think we are crazy, but unfortunately this really was our vacation. Location was fine, beach was okay although it could have been cleaner. Fell in love with the village and would look closer there next time! read more
