My friends love color, and the designers worked with them to take out a couple of walls, merge the dining area, and turn a closed L-shaped kitchen into an open festive space with yards of counter space, walls of cabinets, and easy seating for twelve! Did my friends love working with Seriously Happy Homes? Totally! Do they love the result? Absolutely!

She is patient and kind as she walks you through the design process and answers your (inevitable) many questions each step of the way. We worked with her to redesign three spaces in our home: our kitchen, and two bathrooms. With each space, she found ways to approach them in new and practical ways when we felt otherwise overwhelmed. She guided us through choosing stunning finishes, and we received so many compliments from contractors and friends alike along the way. We had never done a remodel - and now, being on the other end of the process, we don't know where we would have been had we not had her detailed designs to guide us all along the way. Whenever questions arose, it was invaluable to have something so concrete to refer to, and we can't recommend this approach enough for anyone considering a remodel.

There are no words to describe her professionalism, work-ethics, in-depth knowledge and the care she puts into her work. Being a first time home buyer, we were new to everything and Sage walked us through her home buying course in detail and we straight away knew that we were in good hands. Sage was always on time, took thorough notes and gave her true opinion about each and every house we toured. There are so many things to look for when you are touring a home and Sage managed to capture every single detail. We were not only able to buy a house but were able to also find the right lender, thanks to Sage. She is in this business from so many years and has worked with almost all builders and selling agents and that was a big plus for us. In fact we were able to secure our dream home just because of that working relationship between her and the builder which put us in the top spot. I still remember the words from the builder and he said - "You are lucky to have Sage on your side". We found our house, we found our lender, we found our inspector, we got our house maintenance guide (this is super helpful for beginners) - we got the complete package and I'm pretty sure this doesn't happen with all the realtors. People always told me how stressful buying a home is, but Sage made the entire process so easy and comfortable. She is a truly amazing human being and I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done. Sage, thanks a million for making us happy and help us secure our dream home. I cannot recommend her enough!

I entered the housing market, no experience, unprepared, with tight budget and timeline, and Sage helped me get the house I wanted. She guided me in every aspect as a first home buyer - from choosing a house, finding a loan officer, making an offer, inspecting a house, dealing with the seller, closing escrow, following up after purchase - anything that might happen to a buyer, she was there to help. We made an offer to a new beautiful house, and despite of being a new house, it had many things to be pointed out during inspection, which I wouldn't have known it if it wasn't for her. It's been a couple weeks after we closed the contract, and Sage is still checking on us, contacting the builder on unresolved items. She also managed to extend closing date with the builder without any fees, and we ended up saving thousands of dollars. She has 20+ yrs of experience, and still works until 2-3AM in the morning everyday, always responds promptly, and comes 110% prepared to fight for you. I am thankful to have her on our side, and I would recommend her to all of my friends who are in home searching. Thank you Sage!

I'm super happy with the service and products I received from Bulger and will definitely use them in the future if I need to have keys made. I'm a fan.

Keep in mind, The keys had a few numbers and letters on them but it DID NOT say "DO NOT DUPLICATE" I went back to work and contacted the manufacturer and asked about the keys and the numbers/letters on them. They told me those are just the model number of the keys so they can special order them. ‍‍‍ So I guess the young man behind the counter didn't want to do the extra work and told me he couldn't copy them or he just didn't want to help me. Either way, I won't be returning or recommending them.

Gabe and Martin walked through before the start of the project to ensure they understood how to translate the plans into reality. Sage and Stone also worked with us on options to reduce the overall scope and budget, for instance suggesting we could lower costs a bit by doing some of the demolition and prep work ourselves (which we did). The project started on schedule and the team reliably showed up every single day for the next ten weeks. We had them remove and create a new retaining wall with Techo-Blocs, relocate a freestanding structure onto new footings, install pavers under the structure, and install a new composite deck. The team also leveled out and rebuilt a small path in the yard, evening out a slope and creating a more graceful grade by installing large 4' black granite steps. Everything was edged using Colmet to keep the lines clean and they even installed a freestanding outlet in the yard to bring power to the seating area. There were minor adjustments along the way and the team showed great attention to detail. For instance, the freestanding structure posts required a skirt to conceal the post brackets. These were hand scribed onsite and featured backcut cedar with an elegant slope, cleanly mitrered and sealed joints, and most importantly, sealed undersides to protect them from water damage. Small details like aligning paver joints with the natural lines in the steps or landing, finding materials to patch up areas of the house that were newly exposed by the updated deck profile, and concealing electrical lines were most appreciated. When the inevitable issues arose, Martin walked us through the situation and we quickly reached a suitable outcome that he effectively managed. I can't stress enough how hard everyone worked and that effort consistently carried to the end of the day until they cleaned up the jobsite. Tools were neatly arranged and materials were moved into inconspicuous places before the crew left everyday. The yard looks fantastic and we love spending time out there. We're extremely happy with their work and would love to work with them again! Highly recommended.
