I wanted something special for my daughter and her family. I did not care to do a sunset, cruise or dolphin cruise with hundreds of people on a tourist boat. I connected with Captain Greg. We were very lucky to find a space, in his busy schedule that offered all three. The sandbank, the dolphins and the sunset. I have to say that this exceeded all of my expectation about this adventure. It was totally totally amazing. we spent at least one hour on the sand bank. We saw so many interesting species of marine wildlife. I've been living here over 20 years, and have never even known that places like this exist. After the sandbank, we went to see dolphins all around John's Pass while enjoying a magnificent sunset. Captain Greg was explaining everything so well even keeping my granddaughters interest going. We had a fabulous time on our Sandbar dolphin boat ride with Captain Greg. It was my husband, teen daughter and Mother in law along for the ride. Greg promptly texted me back with available times and prices. We booked without a deposit which is so nice of Greg to do. He was right on time with a spotlessly clean and comfortable boat to begin our journey. He was extremely knowledgable with a great sense of humor. We saw a pod of dolpins right off the bat playing in the wake of a large passing boat. That was worth it right there for me! We got to see and hold so many neat sea creatures at the sand bar. My daughter fell in love with a spider crab that she named Eugene (SpongeBob reference) and was sad that she had to part with it. I would highly recommend this tour...you wil not be disappointed. I bought a gift certificate for my husband for Fathers Day and he and our girls went out with Captain Greg the other day. our girls are almost 13 so they are quickly growing out of what my husband and I consider "family fun". I was so happy to see them beaming with smiles and excited to tell me all about how great the trip was. My family and I went here on vacation skeptical about if it would be worth the money. It was so much fun and well worth it! He was very personable and informative about all of the animals and also gave us recommendations about what to do and where to eat around the area. Captain was great! He was very knowledgeable. We seen plenty of dolphins! I think my favorite part of the trip was Captain Greg saving the drowning bird at the end of our trip! One of the best ways to spend an afternoon in Indian Rock. My family and I were able to see numerous dolphins, hunt for seashells and we were lucky enough to see a mama manatee and her baby.
