I was very pleased with how well Captain Randy communicated and provided additional insight. Upon closer to the time for our day I had a follow up conversation with Cassie who provided even more information that brought comfort not only to me but my guests as well. They provided a cooler with ice and water as well as numerous floats and shelling bags. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. Our captain for the day was Jordan and she was Spectacular with keeping us on time and showing us around. We did a 4 hour boat tour but were able to have time on the slide and visit two islands. Truly an unforgettable experience for families and groups alike. 10/10 will be booking again for a longer time. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience.

We brought our food and drinks and there was enough storage on the boat for all of our stuff. Our captain navigated us well and took us to the best spots to see dolphins and a nice quiet private beach. Then he showed us the perfect spot to stop and take a ride on the slide. The whole process was seamless and the experience was great. I highly suggest you book with them!

While looking for things to do when we weren't at the games, the Little Toot Dolphin Adventure kept appearing near the top of almost every recommendation list. It absolutely did not disappoint. We couldn't believe how many dolphins we saw, and how close they came to the boat. It was an incredible experience. The commentary from the staff was also very informative and helped make the trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely do this again on future visits to the area.

The captains all clearly talk to each other and share dolphin sightings because they tend to congregate. The night before my trip with Little Toot I went on a sunset cruise with another company and saw dolphins riding their wake. I was excited to be at the back of their boat and see it for myself. You can see the Little Toot boat in one video We went out at 11. I know earlier is better but it was New Year's Day and I knew I'd want to sleep in. We saw a few dolphins here and there eating. I thought we'd go in without the exciting part. But, the captain took a survey to see if anyone was opposed to staying out a bit longer. Of course, no one objected. He found a couple of playful dolphins for us and I got to see them ride the wake. I'd seen this in a whale watching tour in Monterey Bay (California) but it was nice to see Atlantic bottlenose playing. This boat is close to the water where I've always been on larger boats in California. It's nice being to close. Even from my kayak, dolphins have been further away. I think the only way to get closer would be with captive dolphins. I did learn that there are two boats with the company. Not sure if one is better.

Herman was a wonderful captain, and made navigating the water and under the bridges look easy. Herman was the captain and Sandy was helping him. First mate? Idk nautical terms. Sandy moved around the boat to provide us with complimentary refreshments (water and soft drinks) and food that we brought on ourselves. Everything was super easy from booking to meeting at the dock. Herman and Sandy were super chill. My friends and I lived our best lives just chatting and relaxing in the bean bag chairs at the front of the boat. While we were out, we also saw soo many dolphins! And after sunset, we were treated to fireworks in the distance (random luck, not part of the cruise lol). It was amazing. There's also a toilet on board if you need to relieve yourself. Otherwise, I brought a sandwich platter on board, but it was a bit rocky to pass them around to everyone. So next time, I think I'd make boxes of charcuterie to bring on board instead. Or just put sandwiches in bags. We had a great time, and wouldn't hesitate to go again!

We really lucked out. This day was one of the highlights of our trip and Captain Herman and Captain Marc took such good care of us all and made sure everything was taken care of. I would highly recommend Dunedin Sailing Charters for any and all of your sailing/chartering needs. We had a blast and the day was very special. Bean bags on the bow for lounging, sandwiches, chips, and delicious sangria, great stories and conversation about the area and sailing stories all made for an amazing day. We would do it all again in a heartbeat.

5-Star Review for The Salty Mermaid - Clearwater Beach, FL…read more I celebrated my 50th birthday with 15 of my closest friends on a 3-hour sunset party cruise with The Salty Mermaid, and it was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Captain Tony and First Mate Nick were fantastic--friendly, professional, and made sure we had the best experience possible. We loved being able to hook into the sound system and play our own music, which set the tone for an amazing evening of dancing on the deck (and yes, even on the pole!). Despite the chilly weather, we still got to jump in the water for a bit, which was such a fun touch. One of the best parts? They allowed my friend to decorate the boat before we arrived, so it felt personalized and festive. We brought drinks and snacks aboard, and the crew made sure everything went smoothly. It wasn't a great night for the sunset but the vibe was pure celebration. If you're looking for a unique, fun, and memorable way to celebrate any occasion, I HIGHLY recommend The Salty Mermaid. It was truly a great day out on the water, and I can't wait to do it again! Maureen Vicari
