Had an amazing time on A Boat Day!! I highly recommend our Captain Will! He took us to see dolphins and we even got to see a boat race. The slide was my favorite part of this boat experience! We got to go to different islands and explore the Tampa area. So much fun for A boat day with the girlies!
What a great way to spend your day than out on the open sea! We had the opportunity to spend the day out on their double decker pontoon boat and can't wait to come back! These boats come equipped with your very own captain who drives you around to sightsee million dollar homes, dolphin watch, island hop and anchor out in the water to slide! There was plenty comfy seating available and since it's 2 stories, the bottom half of the boat is covered from the sun. The top level can only be used when anchored but it's a great spot to lay out and catch some rays or slide down into the water with! The boat had some water floats we were able to use which came in handy out in the water (one less thing to pack!) there was a table onboard so we brought lunch with us and space for our coolers for drinks. Lastly, the boat is set up with blue took speakers so you can play our own music all day long!
My family and I took a 2 hour private sunset boat cruise with A Boat Day the Saturday before Easter and had an amazing time. Our boat driver for the evening, Adam, called us 20 minutes prior to our departure time to make sure we knew where we were going, where to park, and answer any questions we might have. Upon arrival Adam was super helpful in getting everything loaded onto the boat and did a great job making sure my grandma got on safely. The nice part about this boat cruise was that we were able to bring our own beverages and food. Not too long after leaving the dock we started to see some dolphins. We spent the first half hour following the dolphins and getting an up close look at them. At one point they were swimming behind the boat in our wake and jumping out of the water. It honestly was one of the coolest things I've ever seen and definitely the best up close dolphin sighting / experience I've ever had. So already a half hour in this boat cruise was turning out to be pretty great. After playing with the dolphins for a bit we started to cruise along and Adam was very knowledgeable about all the surrounding areas pointing out Tom Brady's house, best restaurants, history facts, etc. Once we got to a good spot we enjoyed a slow cruise to watch the sunset. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The sunset was beautiful and experiencing it out on the water was even better. We then proceeded to head back to the dock to conclude our evening. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and our boat driver, Adam, made it that much better. I would highly recommend booking A Boat Day if you're looking for a high-quality and reasonably priced boat cruise in the Clearwater area. I've got nothing but good things to say about my experience!
If you are looking for a fun boating day this is the company to choose. It could not have gone more smoothly and Captain Frank was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, wild life and ocean life. We had a special needs person in our group, and he had great ideas so that everyone could enjoy water and lily pad. The return trip to the dock included a magical dolphin experience. Can't express how wonderful this day was for all of us.
Captain Frank was fantastic! We had such a great time on our trip we booked a second day and asked for Frank! Such a great time and an opportunity to be on the water but away from all the crowds! Frank even got the dolphins to play in the wake and entertain us with their belly flop contest. Would recommend to anyone, hands down!
What an amazing time! We were in excellent hands with Captain Brian, the boat was clean (like new!) and safe. He was great tour guide, knowledgeable about the local sea life, the Intercoastal and the Gulf. Dolphins played behind the boat! We waded ashore to a tiny island covered in shells! The four hour cruise was the perfect covid safe day with an elderly aunt and uncle. They had a wonderful time. Shade was available onboard the boat. We are definitely going to book another trip when we come back to visit next time.
BEST PART of our vacation! We had such an amazing day!! Captain Adam was very kind, and shared so many fun facts and knowledge about the area. Great way to see the Gulf. Will definitely book another trip when we come visit again!
e Booked A Boat Day for my sisters bachelorette party and it was AMAZING! Captain Matt was such a wonderful person! He gave us little history facts about some places and stopped to show us dolphins and manatees when he spotted them! He was great to have on the boat and took us to a couple little islands so we could swim, pick up shells, and showed us cool wildlife. He even stepped in as a photographer taking group pictures for us! 10/10 would recommend for any group!
I was so pleased with the communication from this company leading up to our trip, the flexibility they offered based on weather and our schedule and the fun we had while aboard! Their boats are spacious, their captains are fun and the trip was spectacular! Highly recommend! Will use again!
We rented all 3 boats for family/friends for my husbands military retirement after 33 yrs of service on active duty! We had the best day. The Captains took excellent care of us. They were on time and ready to go!! Highly responsive and trustworthy. Recommend for anyone!! Can't wait to do it again.

I had the wonderful opportunity to experience The Buccaneer Funship Boat. Excellent communication and Spectacular service from the start of booking this experience. I was very pleased with how well Captain Randy communicated and provided additional insight. Upon closer to the time for our day I had a follow up conversation with Cassie who provided even more information that brought comfort not only to me but my guests as well. They provided a cooler with ice and water as well as numerous floats and shelling bags. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. Our captain for the day was Jordan and she was Spectacular with keeping us on time and showing us around. We did a 4 hour boat tour but were able to have time on the slide and visit two islands. Truly an unforgettable experience for families and groups alike. 10/10 will be booking again for a longer time. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience. read more

Great experience from start to finish. The boat is spacious and the service is great. We experienced the double decker boat with the slide. We brought our food and drinks and there was enough storage on the boat for all of our stuff. Our captain navigated us well and took us to the best spots to see dolphins and a nice quiet private beach. Then he showed us the perfect spot to stop and take a ride on the slide. The whole process was seamless and the experience was great. I highly suggest you book with them! read more

Another incredible day out on the water! We love the luxury of boating with our family but hate the work that comes with owning a boat so the solution is aboatday Hands down the best private charter we have been on in the area. We have had several different captains and each one is so attentive and always striving to make it the best day! Today the captain worked really hard to find us a spot on honeymoon island where the kids could swim safely. They loved exploring and they found a starfish that they then sent back into the ocean. Wish I could post the video here of the dolphins up close, the captain made sure the kids were able to see dolphins and luckily the dolphins cooperated and put on a great show! We were able to celebrate a birthday and all dressed up for a pirate party. Incredible family memories. Can't wait for the next adventure. read more

I've used them for a boat tour twice now with family and they've provided and outstanding experience each time. They know exactly where to take you to give you the unique experience you're looking for, even if the weather is not perfect they made it a great time. They offered exceptional communication to help with planning making it headache free for me while vacationing. I'll be a regular every time I'm in the area! read more

Captain Randy made our trip! We had such an amazing day on the ocean with him. He took us around to see the dolphins and manatees. We even saw a sea turtle. We spent some time on a private island that was beautifully surreal and magical. Don't sit around your pool or the beach. Get out and explore this beautiful area. What an experience and it was just for us! Thanks Captain Randy! read more

Best. Day. Ever!! After spending the week standing in line and fighting traffic and crowds we decided to end our trip with A Boat Day. My kids and husband said it was their favorite part of our vacation. Our captain was awesome, laid back and knowledgeable. We had nothing to worry about but relaxing and enjoying family time. We booked for 6 hours and our captain made sure we did everything on the wish list my 10 year old gave him that morning: island hopping, shelling, site seeing and wildlife watching. The highlight was the dolphins that hung out with us for over half an hour. We were comfortable on the boat and everything was clean and in great shape. If you want a nice family day where you can truly relax this is the thing to do! read more

This is THE BEST EXPERIENCE you will have while visiting Clearwater! Look no further for what to do. My family and I had the time of our lives! Captain Frank was so knowledgeable and was able to maneuver us around the existing "red tide" and take us to some unbelievably beautiful spots so that we could enjoy shelling, swimming and just relaxing in the magnificent gulf waters, we even saw dolphins (a mom and calf) and manatee! Our family had probably one of the most relaxing and enjoyable days on the water, thank you Captain Frank! We would not hesitate to recommend A Boat Day, FIVE STARS!!! read more

There are seriously no words for how much fun we had with Captain Brian on the platinum Funship. He was fantastic and we had an absolute blast. He made sure we had everything we wanted/needed at all times. He was so respectful and just an all around great guy. I 10000% recommend Captain Brian and the platinum boat excursion. Our bachelorette had the times of our lives! He even waited for us until our uber picked us up just to make sure we were safe. Captain Brian, thank you so much! read more
